Well the witch has caught up with me at last. So I have decided its time to start a new thread as I think our christmas reindeer need a rest.

Black I wouldn't count the temp after you DTD. I understood that you are meant to temp before even thinking in the morning let alone fücking.
As for the CBFM, Black, I bought mine on ebay and I paid £31. That was without a box but with four extra sticks and the instructions.
There were loads of them on there and £30 seemed to be the going rate. You'll need a stick to reset it so try and get one that includes sticks. I also figured that I would be able to sell it again too.
As for the new sticks I've got them from Amazon on a subscribe and save thingy which makes them £17 a box of 20. According to the instructions you should only need 10 a month but mine has started me testing already so I think I'm going to need more.

Mine has given me a high fertility already, which I find odd as its only CD8 and I don't OV until CD20

FF have me down as ovulating either day 12 or day 14 depending on whether i leave 1 high temp in (which was followed next day by a low temp then a string of highs). That one rogue high was taken after we'd been having early morning sex- which sadly DP didn't (ahem) complete. so although i've had low temps (bizarrely) after sex before i'm not sure i can count this one as i was rather active, then of course next day got a low temp. OPKs this month have told me nothing. from about 2nd- 5th they started getting darker but i never got a surge and really can't tell which day was darker, CD 14 possibly was but it was such a thin, thin line and i was severely dehyrdrated, at first the darkest looked like CD12, i really can't say. CM however would have me as having ovulated day 12, as i had a day of EW on CD11, then watery on CD12 , then most definitely turned creamy on CD13 and stayed that way. Anyway can't make head nor tail of it. If ov was CD12 i'm in with a good chance, if it's CD14 then we have sex 3 days before which is pushing it .

Its weird, usually charting works very well for me . I have rather conflicting things going on.
no chance of testing early either as the tests i bought last month can only be done from the day you are due on.

pipbin am jealous of your monitor. I'd like one , can't justify the cost new but maybe i'll look on ebay. not sure yet. How much did you say yours was? The sticks are expensive though aren't they?

Don't mind if I do...
Bit of a relief in a way, have been on abs for chest infection, I read the leaflet on thurs and it said "do not take if pregnant, or trying to get pregnant" right at the top, nothing about "consult GP if..." Blush
But I selfishly thought "can't stop now, not after pneumonia in Oct" and justified it with "some people don't know they're pregnant and take this"

In hindsight: stupid Blush

I guess if you don't have an HPT in the house then you can't POAS.
How many DPO are you then?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who checks past posts to confirm cycle details.

Do you know when you ov'd Flying?

I've had a real downer today. No real reason for it TBH. I think it's just that pregnant women are bloody everywhere.
There is someone who is pregnant in the book I'm reading, two friends on fscebook have posted and I'm chatting via text to another friend who is due in a week.
It's been so long now, I'm just fed up with it all, I'm not sure I can face another month of this. Even with my new CBFM toy.

I've had nearly positive opks early in my cycle, cd15 is early for me, then not actually got a strong positive until cd20 with it fading out in between.

Very confused today. On CD11 I got a pos OPK as you know. Neg CD 12, really quite faint second line. DTD anyway as DH home. Todat is CD13 and I've got EWCM and a bit twingey Confused. Oh yes, and my temp zoomed (but did sleep in quite significantly so am tempted to strike that one out)

Must admited I'm wondering if I was "surging" my LH rather than actually gearing up to ov. I tested at 1500 this pm, so will test again before bed to see if it's turned pos as this afternoon's OPK was a fair bit darker than yesterday's.

Right, am off to "put away laundry" in attempt to hide from outlaws.

I think I will test tomorrow even though I will be only 11 DPO. I have been freaking myself out by Googling low estrogen and miscarriage - apparently estrogen supplementation in early pregnancy is recommended for people with low estrogen. As I'm going overseas for two and a half weeks on Tuesday (when AF is due), I want to know what's happening so if necessary I can get to the hospital and get prescribed something. It's doing my head in!

Is it wrong of me to get excited that my new exciting CBFM asked me to POAS today?
I think that a lot of these conception aids are like hiccup cures. All they are for is to distract you from the problem while nature takes its course. However, it doesn't stop me doing it and hoping they work.

Pip- hopefully he will just see it as a cool little gizmo. I think it's better as you don't have to dtd as much (or at least, we didn't). I didn't realise at forst that two bar meant we should dtd see only did it on peak days- and we got pregnant first month. It allowed us to dtd because we wanted too. For me, the idea of ttc just isn't that sexually appealing so removing this element made it more spontaneous and fun. The best of luck.

Silent- I think (though I'm not as savy as many on here) that you'll be home. It'll be a nice 'welcome home' for him!

In other news, DS's chicken pox on it's way out, I got half (don't ask) a promotion at work and I told work I'm expecting and they were great. Hope you're all ok.

I think the problem with me telling DH is that we are just not a highly sexed couple. It wasn't ever a big part of out relationship.
TCCing has forced us to have it more than we really want to and has put a strain on us really.
He was happy with it though. I'll show him how it works so he can check if it's a peak day himself.

Day 29 today (or day 1 if when AF arrives).
No symptoms of anything really (except evidence of chest infection Wink)

Desperately tired due to DS waking at 1, DH's snoring keeping me awake, DS waking at 2 (luckily I was still trying to get back to sleepHmm)
Up until 3 to make sure DS slept Sad
Up 3 hrs later Sad

Yawn... And now I need to remove the one inch layer of grim in my bathroom... But it's ok, I've got Flash wipes and Cillit Bang Wink

thanks for that squirrel. i've submitted my details but i think my age will rule me out . once i turned 44 the small online questionnaire 'it is suitable for me?' said i should speak to an adviser before buying the product, it didn't say that when i did the questionnaire at 43.
i've been so busy and had lots of stressful crap to deal with in my life so can't keep up with things. My only news is that i've had a really weird cycle this month- no doubt party due to stress. OPks showing weird stuff, temps not doing what they should so instead of analysing my chart anymore am just going to keep temping but wait and see what happens, i'm pretty certain am on 2WW. DP under same stress so not much sex, unlikely i'd get preggers this month. ah well, hopefully things will improve once next week is out of the way.
