The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

West London Shooting School.

I was going to get so much housework done today. Instead, I read a book for 3 hours in the bath (pausing only to marvel that I had grown a new freckle on my chest, before realising it was chocolate) and epilated my legs.

eurochick · 20/05/2012 12:52

Heh@Norfy. Fnar indeed. Maybe that is what we need - thoroughbred sperm!

I have no idea where WLSS is so I definitely wasn't there!

Northey · 20/05/2012 11:46

Get practising on that winking.

CaveMum · 20/05/2012 11:43

Fnar Fnar!

Northey · 20/05/2012 11:39

when he retires to stud at the end of this year I'll definitely go and see him in private

Must. Not. Make. Joke.

CaveMum · 20/05/2012 11:34

Still buzzing from yesterday!

Norf, I didn't get that close to him, but when he retires to stud at the end of this year I'll definitely go and see him in private. I'm about to put a few photos from yesterday up on my profile if anyone is interested Wink

Northey · 19/05/2012 23:10

Mid Wales. Were you at WLSS?

eurochick · 19/05/2012 23:00

Whereabouts Norfy? We were near London.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/05/2012 22:03

...and inspiring! I still talk down to my belly after baybee making sechs and tell his swimmers which direction to go in, force of habit!

Northey · 19/05/2012 22:02

Curiously enough, AMNH is on a shooting thing this weekend too. I wonder how he would take it if I texted him and asked him to think of spermz.

eurochick · 19/05/2012 21:53

You're so resourceful.

Northey · 19/05/2012 21:39

I suppose you could do it in reverse, and next time you are sechsing or outsourcing, visualise bullets whizzing unerringly towards the target. Muttering "Pow! Pow!" under your breath is optional, depending on how you think KFZK/the outsource doc would take it.

eurochick · 19/05/2012 20:42
Northey · 19/05/2012 20:28

Very ttc appropriate as well, if you think of bullets as spermz and targets as eggs.

eurochick · 19/05/2012 20:02

Targets, Norfy. Twas fun.

Northey · 19/05/2012 19:46

Clays? Or real squawky things? Was it fun?

Did your job mean you got properly close to him, cavey? He sounds awesome.

eurochick · 19/05/2012 19:41

Hello all. I have done my best to scare off any brave embryo that might have tried to inhabit my womb by setting off a series of minor explosions near it (spent the day shooting). Anything clinging on in there must be a hardy one.

I did consider whether it was wise but as we haven't seen any sign of an embryo on any of the last 18 cycles, I figured I would risk a 1/19 chance. It was good fun anyway.

I hope you had a great day Cavey.

Erm, enjoy the conference, Dor. Not really sure what to say to a day spent learning about hepatitis.

Back from Newbury. Wow, what a horse! He looked more like a bull in the pre-race parade and just annihilated his rivals. Fabulous, fantastic Frankel!

Little point in putting money on him Faithy, unless you're going to put a shed load down - his starting price today was 2/7 on, which means if you'd put £7 on you'd have got £9 back! Not much of a return!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/05/2012 16:11

Good day to BESHvalkians and the PESHwarians from my local pub an exotic location where we're watching a duck race. MSB has gone off to his Nan's ready for le football so I'm staying at my Sister's. Tis tres bonne. Missed the horse racing though in favour of ducks, sorry cavey. Might have a flutter on his next race!
norf I can't imagine how different things must seem for you :) you might even find yourself having SFF!
Hope the course was ok dor.

Northey · 19/05/2012 13:52

Have spent the morning sorting paperwork. Ugh. I never want to see another bit of crap from a bank again.

AMNH left at the crack of dawn to get to a whole weekend course. It's so nice knowing that I have definitely already ovulated and don't need to worry about missing sechs. All those months of doing it day after day after day were just exhausting.

CaveMum · 19/05/2012 08:17

Morning all!

Dor, sorry to hear you had a scare, but woo hoo for scan.

Enjoy the sun Bugs Grin

I'm just getting ready to head to Newbury. It's a good 2 and a half hour drive from here and they're talking about up to 14,000 people turning up today to see Frankel run so there could be traffic issues!

If you have a spare half an hour this afternoon, tune in to Channel 4 at 3.30pm, the race is at 3.40pm. You won't be disappointed!

FriendofDorothy · 19/05/2012 08:03

Hmmm obviously I meant Hepatitis not Hepatits. It took me a few moments to realise I had even spelt it wrong!

FriendofDorothy · 19/05/2012 08:03

Will do. It's a gorgeous day here and I have to bloody well work. I am going to a conference on Hepatits. How exciting :(

blonderthanred · 18/05/2012 22:31

Glad you're ok Dot - seems like your experience is echoing mine with bleeding at similar points (but thank goodness baby ok). Hopefully you will also find that from 12 weeks things should improve (are you on 10 now?) although as I said before the muscular twinges take a little getting used to.

Take care of yourself and keep us updated.
