Sorry the gig 'twas a bit shit dor - I went to the show of the Edinburgh fringe a few years back. Bad wasn't the word. but he's now on tv all the time, so maybe it's me..

Not sure if I'm in or out. Cd37. Nothing happening. POAS this morning because I've been obsessing, but bfn, obviously. Only saving grace was went out with friends on Friday and got presented with a "guess who's 12weeks" moment, but was still quietly hopeful, so managed to appear happy. Yay me.

euro, I've sort of agreed to go running at 12. This is a really bad idea isn't it?

i think some people found it hilarious and some were a bit embarrassed. Talking of fake tan has reminded me. There was a woman at the gig last night who was so orange it was scary. She looked like an oompa loompa.

Ah boo euro. That's rubbish. Let's sit in the corner and drink gin together. Enjoy the run! Mmm and the BBQ later.

I'm trying to muster the energy for a run before it gets too hot. I left it too late yesterday and couldn't face running in that heat! Then we need to get cooking for a bbq later.

Sorry the gig was a disappointment, Dor. We used to go and see a lot of stand up but have kind of fallen out of the habit. It can be very good but when it is bad it just makes the audience a bit uncomfortable.

My temp had a big drop this morning so I can safely say "I'm oooot" for this cycle. Droid's arrival is imminent.

The fake tan has developed into a gentle bronze today so I am pleased with it. Minimal streaking. I don't look TOWIE, just don't look like an extra from Twilight any more!

Well last night's gig was disappointing. I was already pissed off as they didn't start until 9 when the tickets said 8.... and they didn't give a reason for it.

Also (and please bear in mind that I am no prude and I have a very, very high threshold for bad language) was it really necessary to have 2 1/2 hours f jokes about cocks, blow jobs, religion bashing and women hating. Rufus Hound just wasn't that funny, but he was quite offensive. The language was absolutely unnecessary... I think I don't mind when swearing is used properly, but when it is a fuck every other word I think it is a bit excessive.

Oh yes, I also got a little lump in my throat about MSB coming back to get his ring.

Like rollo we've been mostly pottering outside in the garden, and celebrating a friend's 40th (gulp). And watching Eurovision, which should surely have been won by Rulvakia!

I'm all groomed now, just need to paint my toe nails. First time using new fake tan, hope it's not streaky! I know it's sunny out but after being ill I was white as a sheet and thought I could do with a head start!

I have had a lush day. Photos at a friends house and then fish and chips for lunch and then to the beach with The Mister, the sister and the ankle-biters.

Just on our way out to see the comedian Rufus Hound. A perfect end to a perfect day. Oh, and my cousin and his wife have announced they are expecting too - 6 days before us!

Hooray I have snapped out of it! MSB came home in a taxi just to get his ring so I gave him a lift back into town and went shopping! Bought some nice basic vests and a tres bonne set of undies. The undies are awesome because it had matching pants and thong. I bought the knickers for me and the thong for MSB! I now intend to pamper myself, full works - skin, nails, hair! Then pizza and juice in front of Eurovision!
So what's everyone been up to? Are we actually watching Eurovision?!

I have got some tools and am going to do a bit of gardening. Something productive in the sunshine. MSB forgot to put his wedding ring on. We have had words! I said I need him to help more. He says he will do stuff tomorrow. will pop some good music on and relax!

Can you sit outside in the sunshine, Faith. Sunshine makes almost everything better. And vit D has a role in fertility, so you can tell yourself it is all for a good cause.

Yes I feel much better for it. Have even managed to do some cleaning! Am leaving the vaccing since MSB has promised ha ha to help tomorrow. He worked this morning, came home for an hour, complained he had no clean pants he did stated he had been busy when I pointed out I've been ill and he knew where the washing machine was, shaved in my nice clean sink and buggered off out til God knows what time. And my friend has cancelled so now I have no plans for today :( boo hoo.

BTW, among other things, we bought two whole plaice. So if anyone needs a fish slap let me know....

GP has given me more pain killers, just wish he could give me a chirpy husband. He's a mardy so and so tonight. He's tired. He has three mental weekends in a row and we're in the middle of it. Trouble is, hes saying he didn't sleep well last night. From my perspective, I was writhing in agony while he snored away so I think I got less sleep not feeling overly sympathetic!At least next weekend he's away :) nah but he's got the bank holiday Monday at home to recover.
