The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

general, always a pleasure
FF says I have put in data for 24 cycles since August 2010. Seeing as how we were TTC since the Christmas that means at least another 7 cycles. 31 cycles in 28 months?! The mind boggles. That's 1.1 cycles per month though which makes sense with a 27 day average. Still....

5starGeneralLauraPalmer · 29/05/2012 09:22

Okay. I'm convinced I've done my maths wrong. 25 months sounds wrong. Regardless, however long it has been, it's been too fucking long to wait for my baybee!

5starGeneralLauraPalmer · 29/05/2012 09:18

To clarify, 18 cycles + the 7 months while we've stopped TTC. Yikes. . That makes 25 months of baby-making menkul. No wonder I'm a nutter.

5starGeneralLauraPalmer · 29/05/2012 09:15

LauraPalmeresque, closer to 40, 18 cycles, 2 MC, currently waiting to TTC while I get my head and relationship back on track

(I'm on stoopid phone that won't cut and paste with the MN app - would someone please add me to das list? Cheers!)

Sorry for my lack of name-checking. I'm really trying to keep my online BESHness to a minimum 'cause it makes me feel Envy that TOM and I aren't quite ready to TTC again right now and my egglettes are growing older each day that passes...grrrrrrrrrr. But I very faithfully read the fred every morning hoping to see a BFP. (If I can't join 'em, at least I can celebrate with 'em!)

Sinky, old. 370th cycle . Indeterminant wait for clinic.
Norfey, hag. 3rd cycle (in a decade).
Shred, 31, ttc%231 18 months. Bitter.
Cavey, 31; Cycle 24 or 6, depends when you start counting from; dodgy plumbing; fed up
Faif, 30.Ttc 29 months. Cd 26. Massive buzzwams. Menkul.
Queenie, 36. TTC 30 months. CD stopped counting...

Morning all. Have to take DS to dr this morning as the results are back from his UTI test. No idea what's going on, just that 'dr wants to see him again'...
Feel utterly shattered, not sleeping well due to anxiety about first trip abroad. Ridiculous I know, but for some reason I find travel stressful and it's an anxiety trigger.

No news is good news norf. I am supplied with antidroidal weapons.
Did you hear about the job?

Northey · 29/05/2012 07:26

Mine have turned as dull and non-menkulworthy as a buttock.

Still. Today is 14 days from the earliest point I could have ovulated (assuming I popped an hour after walking out of the scan). And I don't feel particularly droidular.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/05/2012 07:10

Spilling out my bras massive norf. MSB is Grin. Reckon droid will arrive today. Womble cramps indicate its lurking.
We need more gin!

Northey · 28/05/2012 22:46

How massive, feefee?

I think the heat is making us all grumpy. That and the fact it leads to a rash of adorable little girls in floral dresses and sunhats, designed to wrench your heart.

Gin gin gin.

ShredniVashtar · 28/05/2012 21:35

Here's the brief version: trying since December 2010. Got diffed last May, mmc at 8 weeks. Then nada until November, diffed again, then ectopic diagnosed mid December. GP won't refer me for another 6 months - apparently an ectopic resets the clock - despite the fact that I ONLY HAVE ONE TUBE! Grrrrr. DH's swimmers are fine, my womble and ovaries are apparently vey pretty, so next is to check hormone levels, hence the day 21 test.

Stats:
Shred, 31, ttc%231 18 months. Bitter.

I feel your pain. I use the term "cycle" very loosely.

Massive boo to droids, insensitive colleagues and bad milestones. They can all just feck the feck off! I have a sad anniversary too - this time last year was the cycle that I first got diffed. Am on day 21 so hoping that this cycle might be a winner

Had day 21 bloods taken today so am trying not to google obsessively to preempt diagnosis etc. Must step away from Dr Google.

Have a luffly time in Barcelona, rollo! Have just had tapas for dinner, caused by reading about your trip earlier. Yum!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 28/05/2012 20:46

Heh. Just thinking, if we did those lists threat other freds do, you know, Binty. 26, 2nd cycle TTC #2...

Sinky, old. 370th cycle. Indeterminant wait for clinic.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 28/05/2012 20:39

Oh and Shock at those gossipy colleagues of faith. It is not on!! So sorry.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 28/05/2012 20:38

Just a quick pop in to say BOO to no cancellations, cave.

And to update my details, since you were asking: 11dpiui. Official test day on Friday, but droidal invasion expected on Thursday afternoon...

CaveMum · 28/05/2012 20:33

Evening all.

Boo to insensitive colleagues Faithy. They ought to bring back the stocks!

I called the clinic today, still no cancellations. [sulks]

sinkingflameofhilarity · 28/05/2012 20:00

Yes. Now you be noticing (or think you're noticing) everyone craining their necks to check out if you've got a bump.

I'm still fuming for you! Not that things are great for any of us BESHes, but imagine if you had something really wrong, iykwim. Lots of bad things can cause admissions.

People! Tsch.

As for ivf stuff my end, I've just booked my appt via C&B. Not had the pleasure of that from this side before. Not to bad actually, but don't know who I'm seeing yet- I think that'll come with the letter confirming my appt. Don't think I'll ring though, it's not like it'll speed anything up if theyre set on repeating stuff themselves, and I'll only stress if they say there's lots of stuff to redo! Just more interested so I can obsess a bit more about what time of year I might have a baybee

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/05/2012 19:32

Yes indeed, that's what I thought Flamey. Super tactless. Course I went Blush which has probably left her thinking I am diffed but too early on to say Hmm. I have made light of it on t'other place.

Difficult to say how long it might take isn't it flamey. They might be quite prompt but it could be about waiting lists? Hmm could you ring and ask?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 28/05/2012 19:05

Active on here today!

Have a luffy holiday queen- v jealous, Barcelona is one city I'd love to visit but just never seem to have got round to it. Don't take the pee stick. There lies madness.

Bad times bugs. Hope you're getting all the tlc you need and can try and not dwell on maybes and should haves.

Faife, at times like these I almost think bursting into hysterical tears might be useful, mainly to make the fool feel really bad about being a damn fool. I mean really. Even if you were pregnant, you'd bloody well tell people if you want them to know. It really gets my hackles up. One of my friends, thanks to a slightly indiscreet husband and the hospital grapevine got outed at approx 8 weeks. She then miscarried at about 12. Horrible horrible. Why don't people realise nothing good can come of trying to guess a maybe pregnancy?

Euro, when does the ivf start? How long did it take you to get from first clinic to here? I'm just wondering how long it will take me to get any treatment, and I'm moving clinics (my current one doesn't do ivf etc) so wondering how many tests they'll want to repeat. Mmm. Not had a fanjocam in a while... Something to look forward to Hmm

lemony, have I missed what you're up to? Apart from sunny bike rides Grin

Have I missed anyone? I can't cope with busy threads!
