The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Just checking back in to say this months blood tests appear to be working. Day 21 showed a 1.8! So safe to say I hadn't ov'd by that point! Day 28 is Saturday but I can't get to the hospital tomorrow so will go on Monday instead, hopefully I will have ov'd by then Hmm

sinkingflameofhilarity · 07/06/2012 11:01

Faife, nah. Prev around day21, but didn't really get the typical pant snot this month I think. Was away at a luffly wedding though, so paid little attention at the time.

I have my appt though, so am a bit meh about it all.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 07/06/2012 10:58

Yes I think I will take the night off. Avoiding time off work due to dire sickness level - both mine and department - but I think I'm burnt out. Sadly vino exacerbates my symptoms so I'm tee total til they sort it out.

sinky how rubbish for a long cycle :( Do you know when/if you ovulated?

shreds I would get a different test brand personally...,

LauraPalmerish · 07/06/2012 10:46

*this, not 'his'

LauraPalmerish · 07/06/2012 10:45

I think the ICs are crap. I tested (yes, again) his morning - I'm either 17 or 18 dpo and I'm only now getting nice dark lines. In fact my original test last Friday was so ridiculously faint that I put I up on CanYouSeeALine before I caved in and got two other brands of tests. Worth every penny. Especially for the digi readout.

Faithy do take care of yourself - relax relax relax in your new home. And drink a lot of vino.

Feeling tired and a little blurgh - mostly I just want to eat a lot of cream cheese and tomatoes while I prod my boobs to make sure they're still sore.

Shred if you've got that feeling that the test was dud then you should invest in a proper store bought test. And for what it's worth, my post-IC Sainbo and ClearBlue BPFs came up quickly with evening wee. Get thee to a shoppe!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 07/06/2012 10:36

I am not fueling the menkul, am I? Keep us posted shreddie.

Sorry about the cd 47, sinky with BFNs. As I have never made it past cd 32 I have no good tips except, that it is indeed magnificently crapos.

Hide and keep calm faif. Hope you will get a chance to rest up properly soon. Still YAY about ebing home.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 07/06/2012 10:16

Xpost- sorry you're not feeling well faife. You are off work at the mo? Sounds like you should be.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 07/06/2012 10:15

Morning. No patients are turning up, so thought I'd catch up on the goings on.

Well done for getting back in the house faife. Hope all settling within the womble bugs.

Rubbish about the case Euro.

On phone so cant check to see who else has news..

I've now reached cd 47. Crapola. Tested again on Monday. Negative obvs. I think I have to accept this is just a shit cycle. After the advice to shred, anyone going to tell me amazing stories of bfp after weeks and weeks?

Thanks bugs! I think I'm doing the tests right but they are Internet cheapies so not sure of their reliability. Were yours ics or a "proper" brand?

Rejecting healthy food is a sure sign you're diffed or so I told myself yesterday as I scoffed a scone with cream and jam

Morning all! Permission to slap me with a haddock granted. It's cd 31 here - cycles are normally 29 or 30 days. Have had brown spotting for last 3 days. Bfn every morning for last 5 days but temps still high. In fact I'm confused about the temping - took it at about 6.10, and then straight back to sleep; retook it an hour later, by which point it was .2 degrees higher! Which should I take don't say the first one ?

lemon sorry SB is feeling low. Like you, my mum suggested I talk to a counsellor - well, actually a vicar - after the ectopic, but I resisted fiercely. Don't quite know why, but it might be worth considering. It's good to have an outlet but maybe a professional can coach you through stuff?

euro, good luck with the work stuff, and faith, well done on the shagging!

HRHCavey · 07/06/2012 08:09

Greetings comrades! Apologies for absence, I have been checking in on you all but just haven't had time to post.

Faith, so glad you are back in the house. It must be a real weight off your shoulders.

Day 26 here and still no ov. Shag Dictator is still reading "high" and the OPKs are gradually getting darker. I'm hoping it'll be sometime this weekend, we've done the sechs every day since last Friday, so it is getting somewhat repetitive and sore Blush

How are our differs doing this morning?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 07/06/2012 08:00

Morning fellow Rulvakians!

Sorry about the rough day at work, euro. And good luck with coping today, glad you are not in the lead though... How is the ivf-ing going? Just the pill at the moment?

Well done faif on the insurance shag. Another one tonight and you'll be nicely covered. I am sure you have not christened all the rooms in the house yet Wink

How are the menkullers doing? Anyone needing more slaps? Thinking of you two/three.

Last night I managed a little run before amazing dinner cooking. Sadly SB was miserable about work, not sure how to deal with that. Had a long chat with my mum about ttc related worries, it took the parents 6 years to have their first baby. She swears by counselling - but then IVF etc had not yet been invented in their day and age. Not sure I am keen, I have no idea what I would talk to a counsellor about (except how to deal with lethargic miserable SB, but that thankfully is a rare occasion).

Myabe I should get my bottom out of the house and do some work...

Sorry to hear you lost a case euro. I guess it's no fun dealing with the fallout. Not a world I know much about really, only ever done house paperwork.

I commenced the first part of the plan as suggest bugs! Otherwise been a productive night here. MSB Got the cupboard in the hall racked out and the freezer is in. I even labelled the drawers how sad but it is all neat and tidy which I like :) unpacked a few more boxes. Slow and steady! My lower back is very achey so I need to be careful!

Yes, busy day here. Had new fertility woo (reflexology) at lunchtime and have spent the day dealing with the fallout from losing a HUGE case. It'll probably hit the legal press tonight so there will be even more fallout tomorrow. I wasn't leading it so I am not incurring the client's wrath but it's still not pleasant to lose. We thought this one was in the bag too and just a question of how much we won rather than whether or not we won, so this has come as a big shock to the whole team.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/06/2012 18:56

X posts bugs. Did you say yah a lot?!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/06/2012 18:55

Nothing since 8.55am?! Did everyone else have a really busy day at work too?!
My pant snot says go but no smiley yet. Reckon it might be tomorrow.
