Oooh nice faif and definitely worth a try. That will also go with loads of other summery things so hopefully cost per wear (my number one financial measure of a bargain, as opposed to actual price, much to HY's dismay) will make it worthwhile.

Ooh I have found this humpy the wedding is in a hall in Birmingham. Will probably end up spending more on accessories than the bargainous dress!

LP - hello and am thrilled that today went well. Sounds like you had a really good sonographer, which makes all the difference. bugs shame yours wasn't as good. If they'd said all that business about measurements not always being consistent before 12 weeks you might have left there feeling a lot better. Either way will be keeping everything crossed for you (albeit in a quiet non-reminding you type of way).

euro - how was fanny cam? Did they see and do what they needed to?

faif love that frock. Definitely reckon you can dress it up. Where is the wedding? I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and wore a relatively informal cotton sundress but with a cream blazer type jacket, little skinny belt round the waist and some quite serious jewellery. Dressed it up a treat.

re new definitions of babydust.... Personally I am more even offended by baby-dancing which is apparently the Barbie euphemism for the sechs. I mean seriously.....

Ooh I think my sister has a purple fascinator....I will wear strappy silver sandals if it's fine and purple Mary Janes if it's not. It needs an iron cos it's puffy round the skirt but yes with a fascinator or hat it'll look smart won't it?!

Gorgeous dress, faith. I know what you mean about cotton, but I think if it is the first time you've worn the item, it looks so much fresher than cotton that's been through the wash a few times that it's almost like a different material. Also, starch does wonders for making thin cotton look a bit more oomphy for special occasions. Are you wearing a hat?

Ooooh, pretty pretty! I think you could definitely dress it up Faithy - maybe with a beaded cardi or shrug? But it's always fun to have more than one new dress, too...

Tis this looks really nice, fits luffly just it's cotton and I wonder if it's too casual and I need to buy another dress since I'm totally keeping it anyway to wear when it's sunny

I agree to adding pictures euro. Hope it's all done now and you're chilling out with a I tried to look at mine today - I've got a HSG, fanjo cam, abdo u/s and a CT abdo on there. Stoopid smart card wasn't working. So no FB inside photos this weekend :(

The dress came! It's gorgeous and the size 14 fits :) I'm just not sure it's formal enough for a wedding. Maybe with the right accessories...

Home! AMNH has recalled that tidying up and hoovering before I arrive generally makes for a happier reunion than when I arrive to two weeks worth of pants lying, unfathomably, on the sitting room floor :)

Apologies for causing the lemon. It's that sort of rancid chat that made me unwelcome on other forums... Fortunately my appropriateness filter kicked in before I posted the question elsewhere.

Any news euro? I've had a few, and despite them being overly keen to get me to look at my own fanjo, they're really not that bad. They put acetic acid on to show up any dodgy cells, so the whole affair smells a bit of chip shops...

Will they remove any dodgy tissue there and then, euro?

If I can get pictures, I might upload them to facebook like irritatingly fertile people do with their scan pics ...
