sorry about AF everything. at least we are all kind of in the same boat at the same time.

still sucks though :(

hugs

KickingUpQuestions · 19/05/2012 12:17

I am inwith the rest of you. Lets make this the non obsessing no symptom spotting thread.

DH and I dtd because we want to but we are going to just up it to eod. and not stress.

joyful - you can always comment. i think its better to have a group of people who can understand each other. the bad comes when the group feed each other the obsession and life pales in comparison.

i would like it if you guys could remind me that there are no symptoms. and that my body is trying its best every month to give me a baby and it will happen when it happens. i think i need that more than false hopes...

QueenOfTheRodeo · 19/05/2012 11:55

Oh I'm sorry that af finally got you everything I had thought that this was definitely your month too. I'm also ovulating at the end of the month and testing mid-June as are some others so we can all do this together!

joyful sorry that you're feeling a bit down. Its mad how ttc completely takes over your life and becomes all you think about. I'm going to follow your approach this month too, going to ditch the OPKs (not sure how must I trust them anyway) and just have regular sex with DH and see what happens Smile Yes definitely stick around joyful and join in whenever you feel up to it - I look forward to you announcing your BFP in the very near future Smile

everythinghappensforareason · 19/05/2012 10:21

Forgot to say AF got me this morning, just spotting atm. having a lazy day because inoo it will come flowing in later..

so CD1 for me :) heres too a new month and more SWI :o

I'm going too be taking the same approach joyful this month has been awful, spent a small fortune on opk's and pg testing, and for what?
Your right, when its going to happen it will, regular sex (because we want to) and see how it goes. it just takes over ur life. wishing everyone luck for june :o

I ovulate now at the end of this month so could still be my month :) but wont be testing untill mid June, will be waiting untill AF is missed now :)

Hello ladies

Congratulations to you Country

Sorry about your BFN everything

I have decided to take things easy on this TTC journey. I realised it's taken over my whole life and stirring up all sorts of emotions in me which, frankly I am not willing to tolerate.

I will leave it all to God because there really isn't anything I can do that I haven't done (I am religious and do believe in God and believe he answers prayers). I will still lurk but may not post as much, not that I used to but I do enjoy reading your posts and will continue to but I'm no longer checking to see when I ovulate, will have sex with my DH because I love him and not just because of what I need to get from him and won't even check what day AF is due. I am emotionally exhauseted from it all.

I pray June ushers in loads of BFPs and that you are all partakers of it. May Joy be yours.

redstrawberry · 18/05/2012 23:18

I'd be lost without this thread - so count me in too

QueenOfTheRodeo · 18/05/2012 22:47

Thats good kicking what have you been doing? I've been on a lovely day out with my mum today shopping (for 'housey' type things which I love doing) and for lunch, it definitely took my mind off things and helped me to relax a bit too. I did pause slightly near to the baby furniture section though! But mum doesn't know we're ttc so tried not to be too obvious - does your family know you're trying? I just don't want the added pressure to be honest, but I know my family will be over the moon when we tell them. Can't wait for af to leave me so we can try again this month!

KickingUpQuestions · 18/05/2012 22:35

how you doing queen?

i think i have nearly managed to be positive and worked out how to relax a bit. i think

QueenOfTheRodeo · 18/05/2012 22:30

CountryKitty · 18/05/2012 17:18

kicking AF was actually due on wednesday, so two days late at the mo, but I think I ovulated late this cycle so only 11dpo today. Just proves a short luteal phase doesn't stop people getting pg! Now fingers crossed it sticks!

When was AF due again? Was this your first month?!!

I would be at SAHM. We're starting our own company so I would like to run that from home and my DH can do the bits he needs to do when he can.

OP posts:
everythinghappensforareason · 18/05/2012 16:56

Thats true and i need to do it then atleast either way i can move forward, stop obsessing and things! i think my "bfp's" have been evap ive been a cheap skate so far and had stupid tests alot of which are notorious for convincing evap's , so ive read!

well i will be back just after 5 to confirm BFN x x

OP posts:
CountryKitty · 18/05/2012 16:55

Hi girls,

BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Superdrug test so I trust them. Line was fat and pink and clear! No squinting, holding up to light or anything!! I'm terrified :( and happy at the same time.

everything I have no idea about Numark tests, is that a store? I have digi's in the house but not tried them yet. Might POAS tom if no bleeding. If there's colour in the line then that sounds positive, but if appeared after 10 mins or whatever timeframe that test has then... If you have two then POAS now!! I think you're right that you should leave peeing for as long as possible to increase the concentration of hCG.

kicking mum was SAHM, never went to uni, and dad an engineer. All of us were state school educated. Not particularily pushed. I'm not ambitious in the slightest but am competitive!

KickingUpQuestions · 18/05/2012 16:49

Move on should have been "Move forward"

With either a digi positive or negative - whichever :)
