Hi Ladies im so sorry ive been rather ignorant this month, been keeping extra busy and its actualy worked, i think im past obsessing :). just looked and AF is due in 7days. omg that came round quickly:o

Been quite naughty and had a few drinks this month! But what will be will be :)

Good luck this cycle ladies. hope ure all holding up, will read everyones comments proply, just got on writting this real quick haha!!

Did see the comments about being abit jelous of others announcing their pregnancy, I think its normal. a close-ish friend of mine announced hers in March, this sounds really silly but she was 1 of the few i told about my MC in Jan and i got this feeling over me that she had tried just because she had heard about me + new id be trying again :/ am pretty sure she didn't do it to get 1 over though. ahh the things r emotions do to us! i get a lump in my throat everytime someone announces it, even ppl i dont no very well!!

ALL of are times will come :):)

I am not sure if I am in the 2ww yet.

If it's started or finished or near the end

I could do a dance actually

NicolaHazel · 05/06/2012 13:55

Awww, red, I know how I'd feel in your situation...hope you manage your brave face OK.

And how you are feeling is totally and utterly normal / understandable.

redstrawberry · 05/06/2012 13:20

Thanks ladies...feeling better this morning. Got to go see SIL and MIL n close family tomorrow for a celebratory dinner. Going to be strong and take a deep breath.

I know it's too early for me and naively stupid of me to expect it would have happened in the first cycle of ttc. But it's so difficult to keep a smile on when everyone around you is gushing with symptoms.

Anyway sensible head on now. Shutting out the envious emotions and flooding myself with positive thoughts. I think we are just going to dtd when we fancy it and enjoy it while we are ttc rather than turning it into one sort of race to get pregnant.

KickingUpQuestions · 05/06/2012 10:32

Yeh red don't beat yourself up for feeling envious. its normal and no matter what you feel, you can't fight it. its not worth it to add guilt onto your list of already conflicted and sad emotions.

i think the shit thing now is seeing all the bfps but your time will come. you are still very early days and honestly the more you stress about it, the more your body won't let you fall pregnant to try protect you.

focus on being with your husband and on living life . DTD whe and you fancy it (just at least eod) and try take the focus off it.

QueenOfTheDrama · 05/06/2012 00:19

Oh red sorry to hear that you're feeling down. Its only natural to feel envious when it seems like everyone around you has the one thing that you want, its not selfish of you at all. It just shows how much you want this. And it WILL happen, it just takes a little bit longer for some people thats all. But that means that when it does happen you'll appreciate it all the more. HTH. x

redstrawberry · 04/06/2012 22:42

Feeling a bit down today. SIL also announced she's pregnant. They have been trying for long so happy for them. But had a private cry later. MIL is ecstatic and going to be a grandma for the first time. I wish it was us announcing the news... Feel so selfish and rotten...just having a pretty rubbish day Sad

I wish I didn't feel this way and could put a mask on with a big smile. Just need to pull myself together. Could handle my friends as they live away but this is going to be so close to home. I need a slap to bring me around!

KickingUpQuestions · 04/06/2012 21:29

I am on CD20 of a potencial 29 day cycle. I have erred on side of a 30 day cycle and late OV.

We are going to DTD EOD from now on.

We DTD on CD19 so managed it the whole month. Still going just in case.

Got more stuff for next month

QueenOfTheDrama · 04/06/2012 11:08

I'm in awe of your efforts kicking Grin

Glad af has finally left you red and that you can get on with dtd this cycle.

I'm pretty sure that I've already OV this month, I'm now CD22 of 30 - will keep dtd but only when we feel like it and because we want to, romance isn't dead!! Grin

redstrawberry · 04/06/2012 08:46

Started dtd - one down lots more to go Grin
Gosh kicking you've done so well! Fx for you again.

KickingUpQuestions · 03/06/2012 17:40

Didn't DTD last night. Too tired!!

CD 19 of a potential 29 day cycle.

KickingUpQuestions · 02/06/2012 19:11

I am cd 18. DH thought i may have had cm last night. still on track with dtd every day and read that it takes 12 hours for his swimmers to recoup

dtd then Cd5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17 and tonight. And until 4 june

argh my legs are tired

everythinghappensforareason · 02/06/2012 18:03

at 1st i didnt relate it to ovulation, its only since i was writing down dates it happened etc and was using opk's and it CD11 of everymonth, surely not coincidence?
Im on CD14 now,DTD two days ago, and will be tonight:o just incase haha.
Ive been suprisingly chilled this month, AF due in 11days. im ok about everything, ino if im not preg this month i wont be upset i have a scan a few days after so atleast i will no im all clear(or not) of anything that could be effecting my chances x x

completely agree kicking - its so easy to read too much into the tiniest of "symptoms" and talk yourself into it. Its much less stressful to sit back and just see what happens, although it is difficult!

KickingUpQuestions · 01/06/2012 16:35

I think sometimes we don't listen. I think sometimes we have selective hearing or we make our bodies say things they don't mean... :)

I also think that fertility decreases as we get older. I actually know EXACTLY what they are talking about when they say EWCM. I remember being very confused about it when I was younger. Between like 10 and 15? Then as the years have gone by, it's gotten less and less and less.

I think the EWCM that they refer to is literally what you get in the first 5 years of AF arriving for like...forever.

They do say that it decreases in your late twenties and early thirties but I think they're giving us a false thing to follow. Because it' EXACTLY as they describe it - but it was like that for me like...10 years ago? Not now.

redstrawberry · 01/06/2012 13:48

It is difficult isn't it! When you try and listen to your body you feel so many twinges pains cramps - so this month I am not going to obsess as i was same as you last month kicking where I felt all symptoms but ended up with bfn Sad

I am def not building any hopes this month. Just enjoy the sunshine , bank holidays and dtd and "try and relax"(yeah right!)

Got to go but will be back later. Hoping I get back to normality post this training in the middle of nowhere and get back to world of wifi soon!

KickingUpQuestions · 01/06/2012 13:37

I always thought I had OV pains but it only happens when I am concentrating on it. Same with implantation - I only pretend-noticed it when I was looking for it.

I hope I have just missed it. Once DH commented that it was very watery (before DTD) so hopefully that's when I OVed...

No idea but trying really hard to not obsess!!!

redstrawberry · 01/06/2012 13:17

kicking could it be that you don't notice the ewcm because it may get mixed up or wipe off during dtd? I didn't get to see any last month but a lot of increase in cm. to be honest no idea when I OV.

Like you say carry on eod till AF due!

redstrawberry · 01/06/2012 13:15

everything I never realised I had any OV pains or pre AF cramps until I started noting my symptoms last month and found that I get both but never really paid it much attention.

My last cycle I thought I OV on cd16 but I had strong poker pains in my lower abdomen on CD20,21 and 22 so maybe I OVed late on those days.

KickingUpQuestions · 01/06/2012 08:36

I could be wrong but ov before pains are not common and they should be a mild twinge that most people don't even notice?

Perhaps your pain has nothing to do with ov and you should get it checked out?

KickingUpQuestions · 01/06/2012 08:35

Cd 17 today and still no ewcm. Although definite increase in cm. Weird for a 28 day cycle?

Have until the 4 June until the luteal phase is then apparently too short.
But must remember that 70% of women ov before day 10th and after day 17 and carry healthy babies to term.

Still humping lots so won't miss it either water

QueenOfTheDrama · 31/05/2012 16:02

No wonder you're tired kicking Grin Sounds like you're doing the right thing though, covering all bases.

everything sorry I don't really know much about OV pain. Saying that though I didn't think I had ever felt it before but then last night I had some mild af like cramping like in the middle of my stomach but low down - does this sound like OV pain? I have no idea, was probably wind Blush

KickingUpQuestions · 31/05/2012 11:34

Everything - we had a very stressful time the week i should have oved last month.

I think my CP was in December :)

I think my body is chilled

I worked out what CP was :)

KickingUpQuestions · 31/05/2012 10:19

What's a CP?

I don't think its that though. I probably don't notice it to be honest...

everythinghappensforareason · 31/05/2012 10:05

actually been a little busy too, ovulated 30th, DTD 28th, 29th, 30th!!
hope thats not to much though :(
