kicking I'm also wondering what on earth could be wrong with me to need to drink so much if I'm not pg? We must be!!

everything maybe your body knows you're pg so is giving you the energy to clean now before the morning sickness kicks in?!

everythinghappensforareason · 12/05/2012 10:39

Hi ladies, all sounding promising :o i would worry about getting BFN day before AF kicking. some women don't get BFP until a while after missed AF, When i tested on day AF was due with DS the line was not as dark as u would think, it wasn't in your face bold, it was quite faint that was on a clear blue(non digi) had tested earlier in the day with a cheapy and was bearly there! so theres hope, its not over yet:o

I had the wierdest symptom(if u can call it that).. this morning had a huge burst of energy, house has been scrubbed top to bottom, everywhere bleached (mmm bleach, smells fab) hahaha!

Only thing i can say is different for me, although im sure if pg i should be extra tired :/ strange hehe!!

hi happilymarried not doing alot, DS is going out for the day so i think i will carry on with the obsessive cleaning mode for a while, and catch up on some work. how about u? :)

That shouldn't have said hi answer. Autocorrect

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 10:32

Hi answer welcome. I am also new .

Had the same symptoms as you pretty much. Plus increased cm even still today and random swelling inside and my DH is convinced i have darkened lines around nipples and seeing and thirsty and acne on chest an back and tired

but due tomorrow and got bfn this morning and now i will have to go find out why 5-6 litres of liquid a day isn't enough

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 10:27

Argh!!!! I shouldn't have checked that!

81% of pregnant women on that graph tested positive the day before AF was due :(

QueenOfTheRodeo · 12/05/2012 10:14

Hi ladies, do you mind if I join you all? Just read all of this thread!

I'm TTC#1 with DH at the mo, currently 11DPO today - af is due on Tuesday so not long left to wait now. Have been convinced that I must be pg this month, been having what I thought could be symptoms - thirsty ALL the time, random waves of nausea, tired, etc. I ended up caving and testing yesterday at 10DPO, however BFN Sad Really hoping it was just too early to test and that I still have a chance this month.

FX for you all - looks like there'll be a lot of testing going on over the next week or so!

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 10:08

I know about it!! I love the symptom checker. It has a implantation checker and i started to delude myself that all my actual interesting symptoms started after implantation .

How you today?

Happilymarried155 · 12/05/2012 09:56

Kickingupquestions there is a website called countdowntopregnacy.com where you can look at pregnancy tests at certains dpo, don't know if that will help, it also has symptoms at everyday past ovulation! It's abit addictive! X

Happilymarried155 · 12/05/2012 09:54

Hi,
I am just finishing my tww and in those dreaded last couple of days! I'm on cd 26, AF will prob arrive on day 30-32 so not much longer to wait. I've had some random sharp pains in my lower abdomen this last couple of weeks so don't know what that is!
Have been ttc for a year now and had blood tests the other day progestrone level came back at 68, normal is 30. So the doctor says I must release multiple eggs, so now I have it in my head that I must get pregnant this month with all those eggs floating around!!
Anyone doing anything nice in the sun today? X

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 09:37

Haha autocorrect should be DH and not DHAKA

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 09:36

I am still due AF tomorrow but caved and did a test this morning. BFN.

Weird though but i have the Boots test that needs two straight lines and both DHAKA and i see a very faint horizontal line in the test box. I know we are squinting but any idea what it means?

everythinghappensforareason · 11/05/2012 21:56

Hi aday sounds like u have a few little symptoms maybe :) Ive started getting mild cramps tonight around the lower stomach + back, nothing exiting though, i could just be inventing them as i read earlier implantation would take place around now:o

Do keep us updated, suprisingly this last week has gone quite quickly for me, AF should or should not, should i say;) show in 8days!!

getting a little exited now :) have a good feeling about this month for us all!!

Hi all,

Lots of good signs for those on 2ww!

Not much to report here because I'm still not well. Have no sense of taste or smell thanks to being so congested. Been a week now of not being able to taste food which is horrid.

Had a dizzy spell getting DD into the car last night and the only slight odd thing is that my cm is really heavy. It's normally only like that when I'm taking the pill... very strange.

I had breast implants about 10 years ago and was one of those unfortunate girls who lost all the feeling in the nipples aswell as the breast so tenderness etc would never be a symptom for me either. Although they did look different when I got out of the bath tonight... but they I generally don't study them that closely so they could be the same as always...

Anyway 9DPO tomorrow so we will see if I notice anything else...

Good luck girls!

everythinghappensforareason · 11/05/2012 20:36

kicking that all sounds so promising :o

countrykitty ive heard that no symptoms are a symptom Hmm confusing right!!

Im a little younger, had DS at 18.

i have no symptoms either, exept eating more but i always do that a week before AF is due ..

i also caved this morning and took a cheapy, couldn't resist with 15 sitting under the bed Blush any ways- nada as expected!
... then caved again when DS went to bed, + got a lovely evap!! i hate those things.
Im going to behave now though, im only 6-7DPO

How are you all this evening??

OP posts:
KickingUpQuestions · 11/05/2012 16:34

I am still very thirsty. I thought the thirstiness had gone but I woke up lots last night - I even sucked ice to try get rid of the parched feeling. My DH said I am peeing like a racehorse :D

CountryKitty · 11/05/2012 14:54

Hi, im with you on DTD EOD. If you don't do this then no matter what your temps, opk's tell you, you won't get pg! In the past EWCM has always worked well for us. But think will try either temp / opk's next month.

All my 'symptoms' have vanished so feeling distinctly un-hopeful (is that a word?!) Statistically I know I'm in for a bit of a wait but.... so want a BFP this month!

What age are all you girlies? DH & I are both 31. Last successful conceptions were at 22 & 25! Sounds really young I know! Not sure what difference age will make this time round.

Symptoms today anyone???

KickingUpQuestions · 11/05/2012 14:32

Have you had symptoms?

KickingUpQuestions · 11/05/2012 14:31

I've had loads of weird hormonal things - my husband reckons I have a darkening line around my nipples, loads of CM, heat, swollen nether regions, thirsty all the time, pressure feeling, bigger breasts - one never knows though.

All right about the surge but detecting the LH can be difficult. The surge itself may only last a couple hours at least so if you miss that, your OPK won't pick up the LH surge. If it does pick it up, then you ovulate 12 - 36 hours later and all that.

everythinghappensforareason · 11/05/2012 14:20

Your ment too detect the surge then ovulate 12-36hours after , this is what instructions on mine say, and seemed accurate for me, i have positive opk last thursday night and through friday then woke up with cramps saturday morning, and opk's where negative, also opk's detect the surge but dont necesarily mean u have actualy ovulated :( but hoping i am, seems like it. i just dtd asoon as AF eases off then every two-three days, think i dont it 4-5days straight around ovulation, really don't no how i couldnt be pg this time, surely would be impossible not to be haha. but are bodys arnt that simple.

have u had any symptoms? i do love symptom spotting :o haha xx

KickingUpQuestions · 11/05/2012 14:09

Yeh I think it's easier to keep to 3 days sperm survival rate. I err on the side of the lower number.

I don't do temps actually. They seem to be fairly unreliable as I read that once you pick up the temp spike, you have already ovulated.

I use OPK's but they also don't seem to be 100% reliable. I ovulate but they don't pick it up. I use the CM / ovulation / DTD every day or second day theory from CD7 - CD19 ish.
The LH spike can apparently last for 3 -4 hours, so most of the time it can be missed.

everythinghappensforareason · 11/05/2012 14:00

Hi kickingup im not sure about temps, never done them myself. The only thing ive read (not sure if true) is when you stop getn the slippy discharge etc, thats most likely when u ov, once the symptoms have died down! some say the sperm can live upto 5-7days, but realistically they think 3-4days, which is why DTD every 3days should mean theres sperm available whenever u ovulate!

Did u temp or use opk's this month?

xx

OP posts:
KickingUpQuestions · 11/05/2012 09:46

Yeh - apparently more shagging is just the way forward. My DH was concerned that we hadn't "done it" enough but I think we managed every day for the week before. I had CM and ovulation spotting on the 1 May - we didn't DTD the day before, but DTD on the night of the 1 May. Then I was away for work for the 2 May and we DTD on the 3rd May.

I am hoping the "sperm" survival rate is correct though. And if you have ovulation spotting, perhaps you have already ovulated?

I also read that ovulation temp increase means you have already ovulated so it's not reliable?

everythinghappensforareason · 11/05/2012 09:40

Thats a fab idea goody - let's test together ;) + your right, if opk's r to much hassle just go for it every two-three days x

OP posts:
Goodyhoo · 10/05/2012 20:47

How about forgetting opk & just DTD every other night for 3 weeks!! Might be less hassle Grin (Only kidding - with a toddler I'm lucky if i've got energy for once Blush)

Just marked Thursday next week in diary as poas day - a small personal challenge i think...can I actually wait that long?? (AF would be due about Weds) or maybe i'll join you gillinthesticks & everything - strength in numbers maybe?! :) x

everythinghappensforareason · 10/05/2012 20:04

No problem, i would suggest giving them a try maybe :) there only cheap + pretty reliable. im glad i did now, i thought i was ovulating a couple days before i actualy was, and those few days could make all the difference this month(im hoping) :) xx
