Thanks everything. I've been back to the loo twice and wiped but nothing so I think I am spotting. Had it last cycle but it was only the day before, this one is 3 days before AF is due which has got me a bit worried but will just wait and see.

everythinghappensforareason · 07/06/2012 12:35

I havent heard of that sorry joyful cant be much help. Atleast u arnt waiting around now, take it easy, and u can start a fresh cycle in a few days. xxx

JoyfulJoyful · 07/06/2012 12:27

Hello ladies
Been lurking but not posted since my last post of taking things easy. I have been and not POAS or anything, same like you everything only to realise that AF turned up today 3 days early. Should be due on Sunday. I am sad but not as sad as I was last month which is ok.
Red, like everyone?s said, it is perfectly normal. Only one of my other friend is TTC and I despair at the thought of her announcing her pregnancy whilst I?m still trying plus she is TTC # 3 while I?m TTC #1.
Anyone had any experience with Vit B? Heard it regulates the cycle and Im considering taking them because I don?t know why AF has arrived so early.

everythinghappensforareason · 07/06/2012 12:24

Haha you've been busy kicking :o

Hope them little swimmers r holding out red its good if u have the ewcm, its meant to help keep them going :)

  • i was thinking the same. Would cheer me up if it came back out!!

This is so random haha, but wanted to share it :) i was looking at scans measurement etc last night from DS and it showed the EDD( estimated due date) Gestational age by EDD, and the actual gestational age, and going by that i conceived him on CD8, i was on a 28 day cycle at that point to!! thought that was really early. but just goes to show anything can happen :) xx

OP posts:
redstrawberry · 07/06/2012 11:30

I have copious amounts of EWCM - lots of clear stringy stretchy stuff.
Last month when I tried to find it - there was none. This month when DH is away I am getting tons of it! Cruel, Cruel Joke :(

Hoping the soldiers from the deed on Tuesday are still swimming to victory.

I think the weather is getting me gloomy. Where is the sun???

KickingUpQuestions · 07/06/2012 10:08

Same here everything

I think I have 7 days until AF should arrive. I think it's 7 days?

checks dates

everythinghappensforareason · 07/06/2012 10:00

I think the only reason im glad no1 nos, is because its been like 6months now, and u would get the comments "rnt u knocked up yet" etc. couldn't be doing with it, even though ino they don't mean it in a nasty way!!

and ino that my friend most likely didn't get pregnant to spite me, as i asked if it was planned and she told me she hadnt used contraception since she last gave birthShock

6 days to go for me, i really can't believe how relaxed i have been, havent used anything at all this month, opk's etc. no early testing. not going to buy anything until AF is late, weather that is this month or not :).

KickingUpQuestions · 07/06/2012 09:36

Oh and I felt that way for the first few months as well. Now that I think back. I was too embarrassed to tell anyone we were trying in case they would still see me as the "youngest grandchild and therefore too young" or the "baby of the family" or "only just married".

After last month, my brother found out that we are definitely trying and he rings us know wanting to know how our "baby-making is coming along"

Not at ALL weird discussing baby making with my older brother but he said he doesn't need ALL the details :)

People are surprisingly happy for you when it comes down to it. I think sometimes there are people in the world who really do think of others first and who do have a lot of empathy and they try to include how other people would feel into their lives. At some point, those people need to try and think that the world will just support them. And the only two people who count are you and your DH. Right now

KickingUpQuestions · 07/06/2012 09:32

Then they don't know you and they probably don't deserve you

Anyone who stoops low enough to think that someone decent would go out and "have a quick baby" to spite someone else needs a head check. Don't bring in your concerns about how others will think into the already mangled fray.

You concentrate on yourself and your DH and you make a quick baby. It's got sweet FA to do with anyone else.

redstrawberry · 07/06/2012 09:27

Thanks kicking its like you read my mind sometimes.

Thats exactly how I feel that when we announce we are pregnant people might think we are trying to steal the thunder !

That sibling rivalry sounds very petty indeed - although I didn't understand why the first wouldn't acknowledge the second's pregnancy? weird!

KickingUpQuestions · 07/06/2012 09:10

Espcially when you know how hard it is to fall pregnant in the first place. It's not like you decide to try and steal someone else's thunder. You just decide to start trying, knowing it takes about 6 - 12 months.

You don't do it to SPITE anyone else. And I certainly wouldn't put on hold my TTC efforts for anyone else

KickingUpQuestions · 07/06/2012 09:09

red I have a family member who fell pregnant and another family member who fell pregnant two weeks later. Family member first-to-fall wouldn't even ACKNOWLEDGE that family-member-second had fallen pregnant. The rest of the family or the marital family weren't told, friends weren't told and we weren't allowed to let on if we did know that family member two was pregnant. I got yelled at because I had a Facebook conversation with family member two and I had to delete the trail because first-to-fall couldn't know that I knew that second family member was pregnant.

How is that for stupid, nasty, inconsiderate, spoilt rubbish?

They are siblings

redstrawberry · 07/06/2012 09:04

Hi Everything good to see you back. I know what you mean and you are not alone in feeling that way. I thought the same about why SIL got pregnant the same month we started TTC. But I felt better when I spoke to DH and told him how I felt and somehow it felt better letting it all out and him reassuring me that I was not evil or insane for feeling this way.

Meal with the family went okay queen- I had a lot of Wine to block out MIL gushing. SIL has been really nice and sensitive as she knows we are ttc.
Its MILs reactions that make me sad as I felt it would have been me announcing the news and her getting excited about our pregnancy. Anyway moving on.. we may not be the first to announce, but at the end of the day we will have our own moment of happiness and glory albeit not the same as the first grandchild, but it doesn't matter to me anymore.

KickingUpQuestions · 07/06/2012 09:02

I think it's funny hearing people say how they want to "control" everything and it's go-go-go and I just think like...I wish you all the very best but you have a long way to fall.

It's a heartbreaking journey. We watch our mates fall pregnant - and soon enough they will watch us fall pregnant.

I really do believe that everything that is conventional knowledge is a load of shit. It's all lies to make us believe that we can control our bodies and we have an idea of what it is doing.

The only thing you can do is DTD as early on in the cycle as possible and carry on throughout the cycle until AF is due. And if your DH isn't into that, then he probably doesn't want a baby as much as you do. I was chatting to mine last night after a session and he said "how else do you make a baby apart from a lot of sex".

That's what I think will get us pregnant. Not spending a ton of money. Just good old plain fashioned humping. Like every generation before us did.

QueenOfTheDrama · 07/06/2012 06:55

Hi everything nice to see you back here. I'm impressed with how relaxed you sound! I'm sure a couple of drinks will do you no harm so don't worry. It's not like you're caning it every night is it?! Grin

red how did the family meal go? Hope you're feeling better Smile
