KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 16:37

OH OH OH

Well, I'm in London so if we're all in the same city, we can meet at a bar. Cloak and Dagger hand over the tests. Wait while necking Tequila and Wine and Gin - coz that stuff is more fertile than sperm - and everything can go test in the loo!!!

PickledFanjoCat · 17/05/2012 16:34

I got loads of em! Courier?

ah well not long to wait till tomorrow.

KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 16:33

Which city are you in? I have a test at home :D

KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 16:33

Ok well remember that if you're pregnant, 98% of women show up on the day of AF. Test tomorrow and good luck with that. I am really, really hoping you get a BFP :D

everythinghappensforareason · 17/05/2012 16:30

I can't test untill tomorrow kicking no tests, and short of funds untill the morning :( or i would be at the chemist already haha!!

It is torture :( just want to no either way now!!

hope AF settles down soon, the witch!!!!

The trouble with symptom spotting and waiting and building it up is that you have further to fall. I don't think I hurt as much as I hurt yesterday. It wouldn't have been as bad if I hadn't worked it up to that and if I genuinely believed that if I was having symptoms, I would have a pregnancy test.

Sh1t I am very heavy though. I have to change every 2 hours...

PickledFanjoCat · 17/05/2012 16:24

I concur with kicking although I am not sure on the digi. I'd get a FRER. But thats just me as I will only ever use a Digi again if I am 100% sure. Its the words!

You can drive yourself mad symptom spotting, its better to find out. Good luck.

redstrawberry · 17/05/2012 16:23

Its all sounding good everything you have a strong resolve, one I hope to have next week too.

KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 16:19

Right so I know how it feels. I really do. I would suggest going out and getting a test and just doing the test. You are driving yourself mad with all the symptoms and the thing is that if you are having pregnancy symptoms now, you will have a positive pregnancy test.

It's really that simple. Pregnancy symptoms will only occur when there is enough of the hormone in your system to produce the pregnancy symptoms.

So go get a test :)

everythinghappensforareason · 17/05/2012 16:16

Ive never got nauseas for no reason, not even when ive been ill really, i just throw up. its just strange how it comes + goes. but surely too early?
Its just so frustrating at the moment, im not getting my hopes up!

i never get symptoms before AF, and never did when pg with DS, except the morning diarrea i was really lucky never had sickness through out or sore boobs etc.

I don't no what too think! im not to put off by the dodgy tests, maybe i implant late or something, with DS i took test on the day AF was due + the line was not bold as u would expect was pretty faint! can't wait too try a digital this time haha! xxx

OP posts:
KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 16:12

If you're nauseous, TEST DAMMIT! It would be one of those symptoms inspired by pregnancy hormone!

redstrawberry · 17/05/2012 16:08

I think I am going to take nausea as a strong sign. CM as I have discovered is unreliable, Cramping could mean indigestion, sore boobs could be AF symptom, but throwing nausea into the mix surely must be a sign!!

And I can't remember the last time I felt nauseous (except for this one time in my childhood where I was on a merry-go-around for 30mins!) oh and all hangovers Blush excluded too because I am not drinking till my AF arrives.

I like your suggestion of doing something while we wait kicking so I am going to try and read a book - probably some thriller as long as it doesn't mention babies!

everything i don't think this self-imposed ban on symptom spotting will last long, when I am near AF I will be same as you if not worse! waiting to hear some BFP news from you though :)

everythinghappensforareason · 17/05/2012 15:59

Sorry kicking i was lost for a minute, with your comment about the duck, thought that was a symptom spotting haha xxx

OP posts:
KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 15:54

Yep. AF arrived in all it's painful glory last night. :D

everythinghappensforareason · 17/05/2012 15:50

Did u say AF got you kicking ?? x

OP posts:
KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 15:46

DH tried to feed me duck and he nearly got it back all over his shoes. Never had that response to it.

:D

everythinghappensforareason · 17/05/2012 15:43

red is nausea around AF a good sign? had it myself since yesterday on and off. AF due tomorrow or Sat! I'm getting ahead of myself here:o

  • i totally agree waiting is the best, but its almost impossible, for me anyway haha! i am behaving now though and waiting. like u said kicking if its a viable pregnancy its not going anywhere :)
OP posts:
PickledFanjoCat · 17/05/2012 15:06

drinking loads and loads of gin in a tempting fate type of way?

KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 14:50

red - if you're pregnant - it won't go anywhere :D

I think the trouble with testing on AF due date or a couple days afterwards means that we can always blag reasons for why (if it is!) a negative.

waiting 5 days will virtually guarantee that the test will be correct. Also, it reduces the chance that if you implant late and you have a chem pg, then you won't really know about it...

I am kind of going to try that. I am also going to try very hard to not symptom spot (because I no longer really believe in that). And I am going to put something in the 2ww that will take my mind off it. Going to try. Going. To. Try. Going....to....try

KickingUpQuestions · 17/05/2012 14:46

And and joyful - they say the first day of bleed is CD1.

I didn't know that but then - I don't think it would have made too much of a difference.

I must admit - snotting and bawling yesterday and my DH is fabulous. I've married an absolute gem. He says the right things, he was working from home and had tidied and done the washing and was cooking a lovely meal when I got home from work and spent the night bawling into his yummy, muscly chest. sigh Love him :D

redstrawberry · 17/05/2012 14:39

DH has asked me to wait till I am atleast 5 days late before testing - which makes it June 1st.

Personally I think hes crazy and I will not be waiting that long, will wait till I am 2 days late at the max.

Also another mental note I have made is any signs of strong nausea near AF date and I will be POAS.

everythinghappensforareason · 17/05/2012 13:47

Thankyou red :) when are you testing?

while where all busy looking for symptoms we sometimes for get no symptoms at all is a symptom aswel haha there's hope for everyone :)

OP posts:
redstrawberry · 17/05/2012 13:07

kicking, everything and happily welling up reading your posts. After going though so much during ttc i feel you have all come out stronger and if you can go through this then you will be able to face whatever is thrown your way. I am hoping next month is your lucky month and hope that line gets darker for you everything.

I haven't symptom spotted today, going to let nature takes its course and like you say kicking the HcG truly is the be all and everything else is in our mind, madly, crazily wishing its a pg symptom.
