Continuation of the last thread.

There's cake for scoffing, backs for patting, and screeching death metal for all your metalling moments. All welcome so come on in and get settled into the plush sofas!

Dictionary:

So settle into the mosh pit, we have special VIP area's for those on the 2WW, the new bumps metalling with segregated areas for the first/second/third trimesters and the club class cocktail bar for those who have just got AF and can get-pissed let loose for the first two weeks!

Hello...just popping on to mark my place on the new thread!

poppy all well here thanks..35 weeks today Shock seems very strange to have got this far!! We even had our pram delivered today, it is all finally starting to feel quite real and I have a very active mini crane who really needs to learn that Mummy's hips and ribs can't be moved by repeated bashing with hands, feet or bum and that doing that from 1-3am doesn't really bless Mummy when she has to get up for work the next morning!! Having said that, I finish work on Friday which also seems to have suddenly come around! Glad you are ok!

I also owe a huge thanks to all the lovely ladies on this thread for helping me through my many metalling moments post mc and through ttc into the early days, weeks and months of this pregnancy!

Poppyjen · 24/04/2012 22:21

Oh and Pie I think it was you that asked how the spa weekend was....heavenly. Just trying to work out how I can persuade DH another one will be necessary before the end of the summer..... Grin Hope you are doing ok too, I am sure the next couple of months is going to fly by!

onedayatatime73 · 24/04/2012 22:21

Saying hello too.
Did a clearblue digi this morning and it said "1-2 weeks pregnant" but today my boobs have totally deflated. AF due tomorrow or Thursday - and so have spent most of today at work in tears (hiding) totally convinced this is game over now. Each hour lasts forever. I don't feel like I have the stamina for this metalling lark. I can't really think an hour at a time let alone a day.
I feel it's my own stupid fault for having no patience and testing so early.

Hope everyone else is trying to find ways to stay calm.

Poppyjen · 24/04/2012 22:19

Marking my spot - thanks for new thread Smile

Thanks everyone for kind words after my scan news, its all finally sinking in....not sure what to do with girls but I am sure they can't be that different to boys...right??? Wink

Also wanted to ask Manda and Blue - how are you holding up ladies? Not long now, how are you feeling?

bonzo77 · 24/04/2012 21:38

Marking my place. But not in the way that my cat did earlier. With a wee puddle and a dead bird. Just off to stats thread to update there...

Tiago · 24/04/2012 21:24

Also marking place

GrandPoohBah · 24/04/2012 21:16

Ooh, shiny new thread!

newtonupontheheath · 24/04/2012 21:06

Hi Everybody,

Just noticed the new thread, hope you don't mind me sticking my head back in Smile

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for all the support from the ladies over here getting me through awful awful times with lots of cake and metalling. I'm now 17+1 and starting to feel little wiggles of DC2 Grin but I couldn't have got through those early days without you lot Thanks

Next, I hope this doesn't sound insensitive in anyway but I'm gonna offer any way...I have a few (about 15 or so) internet cheapy tests, a clearblue digi and a First Response (I think) if anybody would like them? The cheapies are very faint but good for peeing on and checking BFNs when you really know it's too early and you shouldn't be testing Wink Then you can double check on the expensive ones!

Just let me know and PM me your address and I'll pop em in the post. (Obviously I'll cover postage in payment for all the cake)

Good luck to those of you still TTC and those that are new, you are in very safe hands but so sad that you find yourselves here Smile

StateofConfusion · 24/04/2012 20:50

Hi everyone,

Chronic metalling to the point of tears and making myself feel sick, 6+4 now and had aches/twinges NOT pain around my hips lower abdomen (I do have 2 section scars if that makes a difference) if I move I can make them stop but then it comes back. All evening, today I have walked more than normal and feel a bit wiped out, I also have back ache but I get that occasionally.

Totally freaking out here!!

I'm scared.

JoyfulJoyful · 24/04/2012 20:46

WhyAlwaysBoris, thanks for the new thread.
Manda, thanks for the advice on the conception vits. I've got the pre-conception pregnancare ones which I will start taking pronto ! Will also go to Holland and Barratts for the B vits. I don't believe they will mess with my cycle. Thanks again.
