Wonderful news about the CVS. My understanding was that if something bad was going to happen it would happen straight away, is that not right? Can you ask FMC for advice on this? I have had a lot of discharge all the way through this pregnancy and I am really hoping that is the case for you too jaffa and you manage to have a relaxing holiday.

You too midget and Marbles here's to a BFP for you soon.

leedy · 09/05/2012 13:28

So, so glad to hear that the CVS result was ok and really hope that the weird discharge is nothing to worry about. Fingers crossed they can reassure you in the hospital.

StateofConfusion · 09/05/2012 13:13

That's great news jaffa, sorry to hear about the odd discharge, will keep for now and fingers crossed, take care x x x x

JaffaSnaffle · 09/05/2012 13:10

Mixed news. CVS clear. No Downs, patau or Edwards. No sex chromosome problems. It's a girl.

But for here's the fucking nightmare - I have weird peach coloured discharge. Going in to hospital as soon as child care is sorted. Think of mr.

MissCoffeeNWine · 09/05/2012 13:06

I know i'm only a very occasional poster nowadays but just wanted to say big hugs to jaffa and that i'm thinking of you today and keeping everything crossed that you get the news you are hoping for xx

Midgetm · 09/05/2012 10:11

Jaffa holding my breath for you. I know what you mean about going away. I am supposed to be going to Spain on Tuesday. Just want to know everything is ok before I can even think about it.

And counting down the minutes till 4pm for myself, i have a strategy meeting which I won't be paying any attention to al all.

I am the same as MissC. I metal between kicks. Thanks for asking about DD. the little ghost child has regained some life and eaten. So skinny but very much on the mend. Praise be.

Anyway jaffa you are in all of our thoughts today. I won't lick you but I am stroking your arm virtually.

leedy · 09/05/2012 09:12

Thinking of you today Jaffa, I really really hope there's good news.

Moominsarescary · 09/05/2012 09:11

Thinking of you Jaffa x

TitsalinaBumSquash · 09/05/2012 08:31

I'll keep you in my thoughts today jaffa

kirrinIsland · 09/05/2012 08:30

Thinking of you today Jaffa - hopefully you'll get the news you want and all will be well xxxx

JaffaSnaffle · 09/05/2012 08:17

Well, I think today is the day. I have hardly slept. Yesterday, I had weird discharge, went into the hospital. They checked and said they didn't see anything unusual, but that did not mean there wasn't anything... At least there was a heartbeat. So on top of worrying about the results, I am worrying about leaking fluid.
And tomorrow I have to drive all day to Penzance, to catch a ferry and then spend a week on a remote island pretending all is well. I am so thoroughly sick of my life. Please, please let there be good news for me today, and no CVS related miscarriage. Please.

StateofConfusion · 08/05/2012 22:44

miss I've thought the same but not waters breaking as I'm 8+4 convinced ill cause a mc, so were crazy together!

Thinking of you tomorrow jaffa xx

leedy · 08/05/2012 22:01

Yes! I am out! Though I have to go back in to be checked up again next week. Bah grumble. Also now have rich new field of metalling re explodey blood pressure and the dangers thereof.

kirrinIsland · 08/05/2012 21:48

tits I know how you feel. I've had a scan pretty much every 2 weeks and the reassurance only lasts a day and then the doom starts again.

Congrats on the scan leedy - hope the bp is lowering rapidly and you can escape soon.

Jaffa thinking of you for tomorrow xx

MissCoffeeNWine · 08/05/2012 21:13

We all understand that feeling tits (feeling tits...snigger) and state
and tiago It's so unfair :( I think it every time about scans, and every day when the baby hasn't moved for an hour, and every time in between.

My current confession is I'm scared to poo in case I break my waters by straining Blush I'm trying to cheer you up by sharing this insanity Grin

Glad things seem to be improving midge fingers crossed. How's DD the friendly ghost?

Jaffa I have faith and I will be thinking of you tomorrow, will try and pop on to see how you're doing. Hang in there, whatever happens, tomorrow you will know and knowledge is power. You will make the right decisions for you.

Good scan news leedy have they set you free yet?

Tiago · 08/05/2012 18:58

Tits I know exactly how you feel. I even had a HB at 12 weeks and u am still convinced that on thursday they will just say "sorry but..."

Sending positive thoughts your way.

StateofConfusion · 08/05/2012 18:21

tits I'm feeling the exact same, 3wks to wait for me though :(

TitsalinaBumSquash · 08/05/2012 17:59

Oh dear, I had a full scale sobbing, snooty, metal at college. I am convinced for some reason that I will get to my 12 week scan tomorrow to be told, sorry, no heartbeat.
I can't get it out my head, I have no logical reason to think this but my brain is screaming it to me, I even told DP not to bother coming in case he will be dissapointed, then got cross with him when he said he is coming regardless and to try and stop worrying.
I think 6 more months of this will drive me well and truly crackers.

Midgetm · 08/05/2012 16:55

Great news about the scan leedy. Boo hiss to the BP.

leedy · 08/05/2012 16:12

Scan today, featuring a heartbeat, appropriate size for dates, and some foetal disco dancing. Huge relief.

Annoyingly though my blood pressure was up so I am parked in an observation ward for the afternoon. It does seem to be going down so hopefully will be home later. And at least am having a lie down...

kirrinIsland · 08/05/2012 16:01

midget step away from Dr Google, he will never help you - stick with us instead.

Jaffa got my fingers crossed for you xx

far I have been fighting the urge to book a 14 week scan, even though I have a 16 week one coming up - I just can't seem to help myself :(
