Right i am going to stop with the me me me posts and do some hand holding for the lovely ladies on here who need it.

manda what rotten shitty timing! I mean, you know, poor DD and all that but crikey! I would quarantine them all in one room and you and minimanda can hopefully have some lovely summer walks as the weather is getting warmer

mumtum is your scan today?

Ditto what boris has said, happy safe Monday martha xx

WhyAlwaysBoris · 14/05/2012 07:36

martha wishing you a safe and happy monday :)

pebs i'd mention the spotting just to put your mind at reast, but my first two AF were on/off for an exta few days

muchin you probably know this but if you are TTC again make sure you get a BFN on a test first so that you can trust future tests to be right.

mumtum thinking of you today

tas i'm also on the tww, also been driven mental by it. I'm due to test on Thursday, how about you?

Thinking about Manda today, has anyone had any news yet?

I'm gearing up to ring the hopsital today and have a row, have to call them at lunchtime from work which is really, really not ideal. But it would be the same any day this week so i'd rather get it over with.

Evening everyone.

Metalling hard tonight, I've just had one wipe of peachy/beige discharge? Me and dp were 'fooling around' no actual swi but contact iyswim --so a mix of fluids-- nothing since but I'm falling apart now :(

InsomniaQueen · 14/05/2012 00:56

Morning ladies - your resident lurker here!!!

So......... I came on to check jaffas news (have been away from home so only just had a chance to do it) and now I have 2 reasons to celebrate!!

  1. Jaffa has a lovely pink bundle on the way and the test results came back fine.
  1. Martha is 'up the duff', 'preggers', 'has a bun in the oven' Smile

So a whoop-diddy-whoop from mummyIQ and BabyIQ (who is currently awake playing). So happy for you ladies it's unreal!!!

Grin Grin Grin

Now I'm just waiting for Manda and blue to join me in the graduates section of the stats thread!!

Love to all xxx

backwardpossom · 13/05/2012 22:56

I quite fancy being a smiley, misscoffee Grin

Having a better day today. I was feeling really down yesterday - had a friend round to visit and he took his wife with him (obviously) except I didn't know they were expecting... of course I got the inevitable "do you think you'll have another one soon?" and it was like a punch in the stomach. I just smiled and said that the time wasn't quite right yet... Not their fault but ouch! Today though, I feel much better. The bleeding seems to be slowing a bit. Had a nice family day, too.

Hope you're all ok x

BlueCrane · 13/05/2012 22:56

martha Grin Grin fab fab fab news!!!! I've been meaning to check in for your poas news all weekend but have only just got to the computer!! I bizarrely had a good feeling for you this month so am strangely not surprised at your amazing news! Hang in there!!! Sending lots of positive vibes for getting through Monday tomorrow!

Sorry not to reply to everyone else's posts individually, have had an odd weekend awaiting the arrival of DM and my DSD but they have had two aborted flights and are hopefully, finally en route on a plane that actually works (others had to turn back a couple of hours into each flight!) and will hopefully arrive in the morning, though I won't relax until I actually see them in arrivals at heathrow! 38 weeks on Tuesday...eeek!

MarthasHarbour · 13/05/2012 21:55
Grin

mscoffee mini toe and coffee bean were all yours, and always will be [hugs]

MissCoffeeNWine · 13/05/2012 21:49

Apparently I have lost all ability to bold people and am trying to make you all into [smileys] instead.

MissCoffeeNWine · 13/05/2012 21:48

Martha Grin Grin Grin YEEEAAY for the BFP!! Big hand holding for tomorrow but babies can't read calendars Grin Go you and DH Grin

Sorry [mumtum] I haven't had surgery for either MC, one natural and one labour and delivery, I hope you make a decision you're happy with. Look after yourself.

Welcome and sorry [munchin] [backward] and others.

[Boris] that's crap I so hope you can be seen soon :(

Fingers Xed for all those in the 2WW Brew

All seems well over here in Coffee-land. Ticking off the days until viability now. Even if the worst happens I will feel more validated with some official recognition. I hate that mini-toe and even coffee-bean weren't proper babies and I didn't have a right to claim them even though I laboured and held them :( Any way - seven days until 24 weeks/viability. And another dildocam to look forward to May 29th Grin

tasmaniandevilchaser · 13/05/2012 21:36

oh martha I did laugh about that preggo chair - hope you don't have too much metalling tomorrow - just plonk yourself firmly on that chair and don't move all day!

Just had vision of you wheeling yourself to the loo on it Grin and had to share that thought!

Dorita75 · 13/05/2012 21:11

x-post, holding your hand tomorrow martha x

Dorita75 · 13/05/2012 21:09

mumtum I started mc naturally while in the ward waiting to go for the erpc. Emergencies meant although I arrived at 7am, I didn't go into theatre until 3pm. It all started around 11am and there was no question of just leaving me to it, they wanted me to have the op to make sure it was all gone. I'd imagine if you do start to mc before your erpc, they'll ask you to go in to hosp if you start passing a lot of tissue (usually filling a pad quite quickly) so they can help you to finish it as quickly as possible. Sooner it's sorted the sooner you can start the emotional recovery and start ttc again!

Made up about all those who have bfps - congrats!!! and here's to the preggo chair on this thread Wine. I'm in 2ww but because AF hasn't been exactly back to normal yet I'm not sure if my cycle is right or not....so fighting constant metalling Confused

MarthasHarbour · 13/05/2012 21:05

oh everyone Blush you are soooo lovley Thanks

i know a lot of you know how long this has taken us, and the trials and tribulations that have ensued, DH is still anxious but i told him what sassmonkey said about enjoying every day while we can, and it doesnt make any loss any easier if we wallow in panic. He liked that advice so thank you (and welcome) sass Smile

tas dont even joke about it, i have just moved seats and am sitting in the chair of someone who went on mat leave 3 weeks ago Shock i am dreading the inevitable comments!! Wink

manda DH is gutted about the shagging - he said 'so sex in pregnancy - good thing or bad thing' i replied 'it depends on my mood' Grin

mumtum thank you for your wonderful message, you have so much going on at the moment i am humbled by all your grinning emoticons Grin for the record i am still holding out for you, the mc may happen but, i dont know, remind me - what is the next step, do you have a scan this week? i am keeping everything crossed for you Smile

jaffa i am getting you loud and clear! thank you for your wishes (and cheers Smile)

i am tentatively off to update the stats thread, i am almost scared to but i have to embrace this, DH said he is proud of how i am being so optimistic about it. However tomorrow is Monday, some of you will know that i have a phobia of Mondays, as all three of my MC's occurred on a Monday, totally bonkers i know but you are all gonna have to hold my hand to get through tomorrow, i promise i will only metal on the first Monday! Confused

Last week i lugged bags and bags of earth to the tip along with some bricks, dear god if anything was going to happen it should have happened then, that and all the wine i have consumed this month Hmm oh and i have had brie too..

Anyway i am going to get some shut eye so i can begin another day, that is two days now when i am preggy... please let this continue

leedy · 13/05/2012 18:48

Amazing news, Martha!

Mumtum, so sorry. I partially miscarried naturally the day I had my "bad" scan, and then because I started bleeding again the next day went back to the hospital where they did an ERPC as I hadn't passed everything.

pebspop · 13/05/2012 16:30

thanks bonzo. i will just keep an eye on it then.

i will be ringing my consultant this week anyway to try and get my referral for liverpool. might mention it if i get to speak to anyone other than the secretary.

bonzo77 · 13/05/2012 13:28

pebs I had weird spotting after my first 2 AFs after the ERPC. I did mention it to my GP after my first AF, as I had gone for a chat as I was feeling so low.She said as There was no pain and no (ahem) smell there was no need to worry, and it did sort itself out.

Munchin · 13/05/2012 12:26

Thank you ladies for the welcome.

Wishing all you ladies that are pg a h& h pregnancy and you give us all hope. Don't know all names yet but congrats to Jaffa, sass , Martha ( sorry if left someone out)

To mumtum hope you get closure soon at this horrible time. To possum take it easy.

I'm just trying to look forward now to getting AF and maybe ttc again. Dh thinks we should try again. So we leave it in the hands of mother nature for a little while. Have house to myself for a couple of hours so nice to have some me time. Going out for a family meal later so life goes on.

pebspop · 13/05/2012 10:56

congrats martha!!! am so happy for you. got my fingers crossed thats this is the one!!

i had two erpc's mumtum and i think they are a good way of dealing with things as it seems very controlled and you are asleep for it. i have bled lightly for a few of weeks afterwards and had no pain. i just don't like the general anaesthetic but last time i asked for a premed and it was much better i cant even remember getting the GA. there is a risk of them causing scarring though but i think it's a small risk.

i am feeling a bit down at the moment. i really wanted to ttc now but i need to wait until i have the referral to liverpool and have the hysteroscopy etc. i don't know how long it will all take. i wouldn't forgive myself if i ttc and it went wrong before i have all these tests.

i am also having some strange spotting which is worrying me. i bled for about 5 weeks after my last erpc then had 16 days with no bleeding then AF came 10 days ago and i am still spotting now. my afs only last three to four days usually so it's worrying me. apart from those 16 days i have been spotting everyday since begining of february. who can i ring about it? should i go to gp or try the consultant at the hospital? i didnt mention it to raj rai as i thought it was just the end of af but it still hasn't stopped.

JaffaSnaffle · 13/05/2012 08:32

Martha I am on a liitle island off the coast of Cornwall (not kirrin, it has holiday cottages), with terrible reception, but I am cheering and cheering! Can you hear me crackling through the ether?Congratulations! I know it is early... all the caveats... But you are pregnant! Wonderful news! X
Over and out!

MumTumWanted · 13/05/2012 08:31

Morning ladies

Thank h for all your advice I was swaying towards erpc as like many of u I now want it over so we can try again. I told my mum yesterday it was such a relief to talk to someone in rl that wasn't dh I think he was received to. Mum works in the op theatres at the hosp in the gynae team so it would be her team performing the erpc do I know I'd be very well looked after which did somewhat allay my fears about butchery job being done so I'm sure that's what I will do - quick question though if I start to naturally mc in this week would they still do an erpc for me or would I have to complete a natural mc once it's started? Sorry I feel so naive Sad.

I did keep busy I took dd to a horse show and she won all 3 of her classes it really took my mind off things and cheered me up no end seeing her so happy . Mum came for all the heavy work like hitching the horse box etc so it was easy on me. Needless to say spent some time worrying I would start bleeding but I put a pad in and thought if I do there's is nothing I can do to stop it. I can't tell you how amazed I was when I got home and I wasn't bleeding..... Same for this morning tbh too....

Hope everyone has a good day. Dh waking up so I'm off hope we find something nice to do today.....

But very quickly first and on a much much brighter night GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrineGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinyay go Martha GrinGrinGrinGrinGrine I am beyond pleased for you honey so so happy biggest congrats to u and dh GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin today you are pregnant

tasmaniandevilchaser · 12/05/2012 20:56

MARF WHOOP WHOOP! Smile I am so chuffed for you. I'm sticking around here, there's something in the water. It's our time to be lucky, my turn to sit on the preggo chair! In my last place of work, about 6 of us got pregnant about the same time, we used to joke about a preggo chair!

I'm in the 2ww and having a proper metal. Every twinge between my armpit and my knees and I'm convinced it's another ectopic. This TTC lark isn't much fun anymore.

ah sass that's sweet, here's to your little strawberry!

hi to backward possum, yes I felt the same after my mmc, just wanted to be pg again.

hi to everyone else x

MrsPear · 12/05/2012 19:55

Welcome to the new ladies - i wish none of has to be here but here we are!

Mumtum i am so sorry about your news. I have had natural mcs both time. The first one was really manageable but the second one was, sorry to be graphic here, a bloodbath. My poor two year old was trying to help clean up the mess and "helped me" in to the bath, bless him. If i had the choice then i would have gone for the op.

Martha Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today you are pregnant!!!!!!!

Hope others are all as well can be.

Question: should i stop being an ostrich about deep seated pain in my right hip joint? I have got a doctors appointment on Monday.
