That's it really! I am getting ready to TTC again after an Ectopic and tube removal in March 2012. Wondered if there was anyone else out there who was actively TTC following EP?

hi schobe - i have a DS (2yrs) and I'm 32 so feel very lucky to have my DS and also a bit grateful that time is (kind of) on my side....

I am currently ovulating on my 2nd cycle since EP but have been told by gynae to wait 2 cycles before trying again so resisting the urge to bonk like crazy - and am feeling frisky to boot so being very sensible about it all!

had never heard of acupuncture to help with it all. Think i'll try a couple of natural months and then see.....

also had an ectopic and tube removed in Nov 2009, had acupuncture to encourage ovulation on my tubed side and got pregnant in the following Feb.

good luck!

Hi I had an ectopic in left tube in 06 but no medical treatment was needed as caught early, had my son in 2010 then last year had an MMC at 12 weeks! And on Monday had my right tube removed as I was 7 weeks pregnant and baby never made it to my womb!
I'm looking towards the future and def want to try as soon as I recover from the surgery! Abit scared of it all!
Praying positive vibes for all who wants to try again!
Here to sucessful stories after the heartache!

Hi there!

Another positive story here. I had my left tube removed in June 2010 & concieved the following month. DD is now 12 months old. I'm currently TTC number two!

I remember some very dark times, but there is hope Xx

hey. Have mentioned on another thread that my hubby and i are ttc. Had my right tube removed december 2011. The ectopic was my first pregnancy so hoping the next one is a bit more successful!

I'm here skulking about.

Had ep and tube removed almost exactly 2 years ago. BUT we haven't been trying since then as DC2's special needs became more apparent. However we did try for a couple of months about a year ago and had a v early miscarriage in that time. AND I'm ancient (fertility-wise). So it can be done.

We're now not preventing pregnancy iyswim but I'm a bit pessimistic and also worried about SN too, so am not putting heart and soul into it.

How old are you and do you already have DC? (If you don't mind me asking.)

I went on to have 2DC after an ectopic and tube removal, 1st one conceived after 1mth trying, 2nd after 3mth trying. Good luck x

I had my left tube removed and a 6cm cyst on my right ovary. I had pretty much accepted that it was over for me (althoguh hadn't been trying int he first place - my ectopic was due to a Mirena coil being in situ). The egg had crossed from one ovary to the tube on the other side.

It must have happened on my third cycle afterwards and the first time that the timings were there and got my lovely girl!

iloveberries · 24/04/2012 13:58

oh wow, that makes me want to cry. It is possible then!
went to see my GP yesterday who told me i was in for a long tough road and it was going to be very hard now i only have one tube :(
I know it statistically is harder but i want to believe that it's possible!
Thanks for the luck and well done on DD :)
