Happy Monday morning brookers! Flying visit before I put the cats (and myself) out of the house for the day :)

sweetie Good luck to you and Mr Sweetie today!

pip Until AF arrives, there's always hope - good luck getting your BFP today/tomorrow.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/04/2012 07:58

Morning smacketeers, sorry for the radio silence. Have been having a very tough time of it lately. Am going to go for a proper catch up soon, but can anyone tell me any exciting news?!

Sorry quite a late post from me but just wanted to say HOORAY for thrush Smegs (Hmm) so pleased to hear all is indeed well.

Will post properly tomorrow, nite all x

beangrower · 22/04/2012 19:51

clickingtock - my new tag/username?! Wink

beangrower · 22/04/2012 19:49

Well - that's encouraging to know Popster. I had SFF for fun on the Monday then SWId on the following Saturday - first CBFM peak. We tried a second SWI sesh on second peak, but wasn't much cop. Confused

Of course I'm relying on the thought that the spermies are on the mend after all our acu/no booze and trying to ignore the very loud clicking tock (which seems to be ticking faster than ever, yikes).

SWI1 was a bit painful (sorry TMI) and I just read in TCOYF that sechs can be a bit ouch around ov time. Never knew that!

I think, like you, I ov pretty close to first peak... but temping with my DS and my bad sleep is just a waste of time so can't really be sure. AF seems to arrive 13-14 days after first peak anyways. Ramble, ramble.

Bartlet - ignorance is bliss. And you'd hardly be the first among ladies to try a little 'white' trick now and again, would you?! Fx for you this month.

Sweetie - brooking for you and wishing you good results and swift outcomes. xxx

BartletForAmerica · 22/04/2012 19:26

I don't want you to think that I am tricking DH into SWI! Blush It's just I don't want him to get too anxious about it all when really all I could do it lie back and think of England. Blush

That's great that everything is progressing, Sweetie. However it happens, we are very much Brooking No Argument for a baby for you both soon.

TheLittleFriend · 22/04/2012 19:17

Sounds like you've smacked that rat bang on the head with that well-timed swi sparks Wink

sweetie it sounds like your investigations are being dealt with really swiftly, glad to hear you sounding positive about it all.

bartlett I don't tell my dp anything about what the cbfm is telling me. Like you, we try to keep up with eod swi, so he probably guesses I've got a peak if I jump on him two days in a row!

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 22/04/2012 18:44

bean I was charting so I know I ov'd on my first peak (as I do when I get a +opk) - we swi on first and 2nd peak and had last sff 4 days earlier :)

PipIsOutNow · 22/04/2012 18:32

Thanks Sweetie I used CB Digi apparently they're not very sensitive either are they? Which are the best ones? First response? xxx

SweetieDoesIt · 22/04/2012 18:27

Yeah to Smegs ms resuming and thrush - hope you are ok my dear

Well done to Mr Geek for JIAJ and hope you both have a lovely week off you lucky things

Pip if AF is still no show maybe POAS tomorrow later this week? The test you took yesterday might have just been a bit early. Brooking for you getting BFP

Barlett just use your womanly charm on DH, what he doesnt know cannot hurt Wink

I have my day 3 blood test tomorrow, DH has to go to the clinic to JIAJ tomorrow too. We are both pleased things are progressing well.

PipIsOutNow · 22/04/2012 17:06

So, I'm popping back to say hi!!! And that I'm so glad you are vomming Smegs !!!

Also, some of you may know I had a BFN yesterday (day AF was due) and I felt as if she was here to stay.

Today, however, I am feeling worse than ever!!! COmpletely whacked, heartburn, very very sore boobies and sick. When do you think I should POAS again to check? Am wondering if the negative was a false negative Hmm

xx

beangrower · 22/04/2012 16:31

Pop remind me - when you got diffed where were you at in your cycle - was it first peak on CBFM? And did you have a few days rest before hand? x

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 22/04/2012 16:00

geek I was charting and used to have 29-33 day cycles - one month I randomly had a 39 day cycle but definitely ovulated so a long cycle doesn't automatically mean there's a problem. Your cbfm should hopefully help you pinpoint ov :)

BartletForAmerica · 22/04/2012 13:59

Well done, MrGeek, for doing his bit. Hope your results, Geek, are positive next week.

Well done to you too, Sparkle, for the positive OPK. Keep SWI though as the egg can pop 12-48 hours later and then hang around for up to another 48 hours.

Smegs, delighted to hear that you are throwing up and have thrush! Grin

There is a faint line on the OPK I did earlier, so hopefully that means that I am due to ovulate soon. I'm never sure how much to tell DH as sometimes he finds it difficult with the pressure to perform.

Little, it's not over until it's over, so hope AF stays away.

Geeklette · 22/04/2012 12:31

Thanks sparks, it's reassuring to know that longer cycles can also result in ov. MrGeek's SA was safely delivered on Friday morning and we both have the week after next off work so was planning on making an appointment for a week on Monday to get results of that and my CD21 bloods, discuss way forward etc. Think I might request the bloods are re-done given my alternations are pretty much cast in stone.

No joy on the OPK, BFN yesterday on an internet cheapie (four hours without PIAT or drinking is a lot longer than it sounds!), another BFN today with internet cheapie and a CB just to be sure. The internet cheapie faint line was darker than yesterday's faint line though - should this mean anything?

Have succumbed today and purchased a CBFM (and two boxes of 20 sticks just to be sure). With luck AF should be due around the time they get delivered. Am also toying with the idea of taking agnus castus for my Squiffy Months but no idea of dose, whether to take after ov etc.

Does anyone else have cycles that seem to alternate (ie 28 days one month so presumably ovulating normally and 35+ the next, so potentially anovulatory)? Dr Google doesn't have much about it.

My bloods were taken on CD 21 of Month Squiffy. Should I request they are repeated on CD 21 of Month Normal?

That's excellent news smegs (never thought I would hear myself say that about somebody having thrush!) xx

TheLittleFriend · 21/04/2012 19:38

Smegs I have never been so relieved to hear that someone has thrush and morning sickness!! Lots of love to you xx

Sorry about the BFN pip, and AF's arrival sweetie. I didn't bother poas this morning. I'm spotting and got the usual pre af cramps, so just waiting to reset the CBFM to day 1 and get started on next cycle.

I was so hopeful about this month after swi on both peak days. Boooooooooooo.

ScrambledSmegs · 21/04/2012 19:25

Really? I did wonder, but was a bit iffy about consulting dr google. Thanks guys, I will go to GP asap.

You guys are all lovely. Really really lovely. Thank you. I've been sobbing in various bathrooms yesterday and today, and it's really only you lot who've kept me (mostly) together. (((((hugs)))))

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 21/04/2012 19:09

Yay smegs that's super positive! :) :) I didn't know thrush could cause spotting but it stands to reason - to the gp with you! :)
