Fluffy, I bought my CD from this site - Natal Hypnotherapy . I really liked it, but but you do need to listen to it pretty regularly in order to get brainwashed the full effect. I put it on my iPod and listened on the bus to work, not ideal but it worked!

Fluffy don't be scared! Sorry if I've worried you. I didn't have a great experience, but I know many people who did have wonderful hospital births. The NHS has gone a very long way in recent years to making giving birth a much more natural and relaxed experience, if you want it that way of course.

Fluffy have you thought about doing hypnobirthing? Otherwise known as natal hypnotherapy. I got a CD and it was really helpful. Despite the fact that I was on mega-induction drugs and experiencing major contractions at least every minute, I managed to cope quite well with the pain by using the techniques. I was very quiet too, one midwife asked if I was a scientologist

I did have an epidural eventually, but that's a whole other story :)
