Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

I am fine. Bored though.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/05/2012 21:46

I'm watching Happy Popper again with my family and pottering on MN. You alright dor?

FriendofDorothy · 06/05/2012 21:42

Shhhhhh?

Where is everybody?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/05/2012 19:22

Ah sorry to hear you're bored sinkers. I hate it when MSB is away!
I've had a luffly day. Walked into Bowness and got a boat across Windermere. Did a three mile walk to a nice pub and got a steam train back. DNephew really enjoyed it though he's shattered now and off to bed. To be fair, the walk (usually an easy warm up for bigger ones later) has totally worn me out! All that fresh air and exercise. I have no stamina since being ill. MSB is a bit upset about the footie (Man U fan) but I am relieved my precious Villa won't be relegated! :) quiet night in for us, just waiting for dinner to cook!
What's everyone else been up to? norf I assume you've been prodding your buzzwams all day?!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 06/05/2012 19:04

Hola folks.

Proper bored now. GHJ is working this weekend and while I've occupied myself up to now, I'm bored! That feels a little pathetic Sad

Sooooo... norf, obviously diffed-ness.

What's the chat elsewhere, or is everyone away for the bank holidays?

There's not an emoticon for friendless loser, but I'd be using it right now if there was...

Well you're clearly diffed have you googled clomid big boobs?

Northey · 06/05/2012 11:54

Morning all.

Either Clomid has made my boobs bigger or I am actually delusional diffed and that period was actually an implantation thing. Don't all rush at once to tell me which is more likely.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 05/05/2012 21:15

I like Gertrude. Henrietta the hen? We could all have a chicken as a baybee substitute... On second thoughts, praps not.

FriendofDorothy · 05/05/2012 17:45

Yeah I know bugs. House prices are mental over here :(

Yep. It's super competitive.

I am desperately trying not to get too excited. and I need to stop planning to kitchen and trying to decide if I want a woodburning stove or an open fire.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 05/05/2012 17:38

I assume that's because there's limited properties come up for sale and even less at ahem affordable prices?

FriendofDorothy · 05/05/2012 17:27

We seriously have to be quick over here. Properties go within hours!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 05/05/2012 16:59

Wow dor that was speedy! We look round ours Wednesday and again Saturday afternoon and had an offer accepted Sunday afternoon! We thought that was speedy but properties in our village go really quickly.
I am very impatient too. I said to MSB last night I think that's why ttc has been so difficult. I'm incredibly impatient, my favourite prayer is God give me patience and hurry up about it!
We have arrived at our holiday cottage, was a bit nervous about coming because it's a different cottage but it's luffly. Really spacious and outside space for DNephew to play in. Might even have a cheeky gin for the first time in 8 weeks!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 05/05/2012 13:38

Wow dor. I have proper house envy. I loooved it when we moved in and all the rooms were empty and magnolia- blank canvas! (which I have done v little with, but never mind). And don't start me on the garden fit for chickens and veg. I have a metre square of onions, peas and rocket. Envy

Cd 15 here. No signs of ov yet. Clinic on Friday. Yawn to it all

To all the preggers folk. Cockwanks.

FriendofDorothy · 05/05/2012 12:51

Well, we have put an offer in on that house. I didn't really expect to make the decision today. We now have to wait until Tuesday for a decision. I hate waiting.

Northey · 05/05/2012 10:09

Oh please post that! I will cheer from the rooftops if you do. Though perhaps better not

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 05/05/2012 09:51

Thanks norf, we did a few back and forth texts but I didn't do much asking about the baybee I'm not that mature! The other friend had put the scan pic up of t 'other place, sorry friend but I've hit 'unsubscribe'. Worst thing has to be that another preggo friend posted on her wall ooh you too? Everyone I know is having babies! Temptation to say Not everyone love. Now piss off for being so insensitive is high!
But I am off on my holibobs now. Lakes here we come! My signal will be variable but I'll check in as I can! bugs have a fab time!

Northey · 05/05/2012 07:33

I really like that, dor.

Well done for mature and decent congratulatory text, faith. I know how hard it is to do.

FriendofDorothy · 04/05/2012 21:48

Yeah we would have a lot of work to do to get it ready. The garden would even be big enough for chickens and to grow veggies!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 04/05/2012 21:00

Tis vairy nice dor though you'll need to be handy with a roller! Garden look immense.
euro I had to dig really, really deep but to be fair, it's not her fault she's fallen pregnant at the drop of a hat twice I did realise though we have a mutual friends' wedding in July and now two of them will be diffed. If I haven't had my win by then, it'll be pretty horrendous.
I totally agree about the process being made harder by the appointment process, both NHS and private. I've been Shock by it. Mine's not been brilliant - 6 months to get MSB's first SA, appt times coming the day of the appt, waiting 9 months for my follow up etc but people fighting simply to be heard and get things sorted seems ludicrous! Hope you get it sorted soon euro.

eurochick · 04/05/2012 20:47

That's lovely Dor, particularly the garden.

Faith that is admirable. Enjoy the smiley pee sticks. For some reason the smiley face always cheers me up. I wondered why they picked that symbol at first but I like it!

Cavey that is sh1t. I have been chasing my private clinic all week for my next pre-iui scan appointment. FFS this process is hard enough without adding unnecessary stress. They were really responsive last month. Now I have prepaid for 3 cycles they seem to have lost all interest... Someone is going to get shouted at after the weekend.

My friend in Jersey paid twice as much for her 2 bed flat as we did for our four bed bungalow! I'm amazed you're able to buy at all :) but excited for you.
I've just managed to text my smug pregnant with dc#2 friend with congratulations. That's all I could muster! Too churlish not to reply at all but damn has she had it easy...

FriendofDorothy · 04/05/2012 20:05

I will find you link in a minute, but please bear in mind that this is the most expensive place ever to live so don't expect a mansion!

Oh, and also this needs quite a bit of cosmetic work doing but it could be lovely and has a spectacular garden!

Ok... stupidly expensive bungalow here.
