Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

I think I deserve a Dedication to Sechs award - we did it at 5am this morning before HWHNN had to head off for work Hmm

I better bloody win a baybee after all this effort!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/04/2012 13:31

Indeed :)
Grr I'm frustrated that I finally I decided to be proactive about trying to sort my phone out instead of talking about it a lot so I rang my current provider to see about getting out of my contract but their systems are down . Bah! And I think I forgot the carpet man was coming today .:(

FriendofDorothy · 16/04/2012 13:07

Ooo you can see the tumbleweed in here today.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/04/2012 09:08

Actually I think what suspended the Fred was simply that it was 10.30 on a Sunday night and most people got to bed a bit earlier on a Sunday?
I'll rub your belly for good luck dor!

FriendofDorothy · 16/04/2012 08:31

I think what broke the fred was me getting my wobbly gut out. Sorry about that.

I spelt badly and would like to be in bed, not at my desk!

CaveMum · 16/04/2012 08:16

[dances around naked in desperate attention seeking fashion]

CaveMum · 16/04/2012 07:57

Hmm, I appear to have broken the fred Hmm

I suspect everyone ran for the hills when it became clearing was going to start rubbing people's belly's Wink

Shag Dictator no longer wants sticks from me and OPKs are looking very iffy - had 2 slightly darker lines on Sat night and Sunday morning but today it is barely visible again, no temp shift either.

[fed up]

CaveMum · 15/04/2012 22:11

[settles down next to Dor and rubs her belly]

Wink
sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 22:11

Bloody autocorrect. Though, not thought. Here, not her.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 22:09

I tried opks, but never got a positive on the Internet cheapies, and only mustered some 'almost as dark' on boots own brand. I only used them once a day (afternoon) thought, and I gather from her that the surge can be

blonderthanred · 15/04/2012 21:56

I had given up temping & FF as too stressful, actually had given up everything due to lack of ovulation but did an opk in Feb on a whim and got a medium-strength positive on an Amazon cheapie - my first ever + result. The packs say anything other than a strong positive is a negative which was obviously bollocks as that was the night that sperm met egg.

So I'd say opks are worth a try if you don't get on with charting.

FriendofDorothy · 15/04/2012 21:51

Snuggle up then ;)

CaveMum · 15/04/2012 21:48

That's good to know Dor!

Hoping hugging a pregnant lady means something will rub off on me Grin

Winkly · 15/04/2012 21:10

Thanks. I'm not on fertility friend. I signed up and got scared by the bombardment of emails with tutorials and ones shouting at me for not logging in enough, plus I do shifts so temping seems too difficult. Shall go try for some lovin' shortly :)

FriendofDorothy · 15/04/2012 21:07

Cavey my shag dictator gave me lots of highs this month but no peak, leading me to think I hadn't ovulated. That was clearly bollocks it would seem!

eurochick · 15/04/2012 20:49

I don't get much CM these days, but what little I do get seems to be a bit out of synch with my LH surge - it comes a day or two before. By the time I ov, fertile CM seems to have disappeared.

Are you on fertility friend? You could browse the gallery there to see what seems to be a "normal" pattern.

OP posts:
CaveMum · 15/04/2012 20:37

Hmm, tricky one and I'm definitely no expert. In my case I don't seem to get much in the way of CM so can't use it as a reliable guide. If I were you I'd definitely get sechsing just to safe, and keep an eye on the OPKs.
I'm sure I read that the LH surge usually occurs in the afternoon, so if you are testing in the mornings you might miss it.

Winkly · 15/04/2012 20:32

I might sound stupid - but if I have cervical mucus so egg-whitey I could make an omelette, then should I have some sort of a line on an OPK? Because there was nothing at all. Fanks.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 20:32

But Winkly please ask!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 15/04/2012 20:32

You can ask! not that I'll be any help, never got on with them myself I'm sure one of the BESH will be able to help :)

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 20:31

Well cavey, help is a strong word... We'll certainly give you an opinion, but no guarantee on its accuracy!

CaveMum · 15/04/2012 20:29

Course you can Winkly, there is good collective knowledge on this fred, so someone is bound to be able to help you.

Winkly · 15/04/2012 20:27

Everyone has put in good efforts the last couple of days, with sechsing and gardening and suchlike. I feel very slatternly as I have no garden and have done no sechs (although that was not by choice).

Can I ask an ovulation stick question?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 20:20

Epic strikethru fail. Oh for an edit button.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/04/2012 20:19

I'm currently cd28, so mid tww thanks to my stupidly long cycles. Not hopeful for this month though. All seching at the right time, but it just feels unlikely. Particularly as I had kind of hoped for a FUFC moment.

Good effort with gardening shred. I mowed the lawn about 2 weeks ago, then realised the cable was cut through to the wire just where I hold it to keep it out the way. So it's waiting for the tip, but no replacement as yet. Irritatingly, I've left it put in the hope the local scallys, who'll normally steal anything not screwed down, will take it off my hands and hopefully get electrocuted into the bargain , but it remains. Rubbish scallys.
