Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Erm does this work? I'm struggling from my phone

eurochick · 18/04/2012 10:29

Note to self - avoid phrases with funny accents....

Priecājos jūs atkal redzēt. (That is "glad to see you again" in Latvian, apparently!)

Faithy it sounds like you are getting the house back on track. You have to have curtains and £400 for a whole house really doesn't sound extravagent!

(PS your chart link doesn't work.)

FF hasn't given me my crosshairs yet, but I had a pretty big temp rise today so it really does look like my IUI on Monday was perfectly timed, so we should all get douze points for that. (Chart is here if anyone is interested: www.fertilityfriend.com/home/343af6) But we've had lots of perfectly timed swi before without it leading to anything.

Bugs I can't get over the fact that I had a dry holiday. As KFZK isn't much of a drinker I found I didn't miss it as much as I expected. I'm not sure I would have been able to hold out if it had been all inclusive though! Where are you off to?

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 10:18

How do la BESH? MSB was Shock and a tad miffed about the curtains :( I think worried about spending money we don't have....except we do have it, because we still have over half the lump sum we were given to set up the rental house Hmm. We need curtains and poles. It won't feel like home without them! I had to start somewhere too. So I will stop justifying it. Hmph.
In baybee making terms, FF has brought my ov day back by one which makes more sense to me and the sechs was then pretty well timed my chart is here if any of you want a nose!
Later today I am collecting DNephew from nursery since my Dad is off on a day trip. Fun! The replacement windows are coming in today and tomorrow too. Progress indeed!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 18/04/2012 09:14

Bonjour, guttenmorgen, hello!

Loving the curtain buying, they do sounds nice, faith. And well done on making it out of the house and actually getting them.

Sorry you are poorly bugs and impressed with the removal of excessive apps (as I have an ancient phone I don't have any of these, but I think that has its uses!)

Yay for Xmas babies, dor. Very jealous and very happy at the same time.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 17/04/2012 21:54

I'm particularly in luff with the living room ones - a combo of chunky stripes of black, grey and silver :)
Colds suck bugs, hope you shift it soon. I know what you mean about holidays, when you've paid for AI you want to make the most of it don't you?

Oh my days, someone come and fan me, I just spent 400 squid on curtains and poles Shock. All the windows are at least 90 inches wide and I've bought enough for the whole house. But I'm still Shock. Haven't told MSB since he's working late. Just put them on my credit card since long term the insurance money will cover it . Will show him Thursday when he's got time to take it in...Still the positive is I've Been talking about going curtain shopping since I was discharged and I've managed to do it now. I'm definitely on the mend.

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 13:11

Well the fact that I work with the the GP on a professional level also helps I guess!

Right now I just want to go to bed!

eurochick · 17/04/2012 13:08

Dor how sweet that your GP was really happy for you. I doubt mine could pick me out of a line up! You are going to have a luffly Xmas present this year (or alternatively be huffing around the house in a bad temper shouting "WILL SOMEONE JUST GET THIS BABY OUT, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS"). Grin

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 17/04/2012 11:09

Laura bonjourno! How iz you? Awesome dance :)
dor that's so luffly about your GP. It may well be just a hint of sickness since it's still early days. I think the tiredness and the BFPs and the best indicators of your diffedness!
northey I luff the vagueness of the comment about Tezza. Leave us hanging!
Well I'm grateful to the fella who lives next door for going out in his van at 9.30 otherwise who knows what time i'd have woken up? I have managed to get up in fair time today so I'm definitely progressing. Now I have the proper measurements I'm off curtain shopping. Think I'll walk there (about 15 minute walk) though I'd best take my brolly since it looks like it might pour again
Oh and futility fiend reckons I laid an egg on cd10 Hmm despite the lack of fertile pant snot and a pretty small tenp rise. MSB is working super late tonight and tomorrow like til 11 doing 15 hour days so he won't be up to the sechsing. Grr I wish it was just simple..

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 09:07

Oh, still not feeling many symptoms other than having sore nips, although I am wondering if I feel slightly sick today. I just can't tell.

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 09:06

Saw my lovely GP. He was almost as excited as me!

Gave me forms to get a whole raft of blood tests done and told me to book in to see the practice nurse who is also one of the senior midwives, and he gave me a script for 5mg of folic acid as I am fat!

He reckons my EDD would be 17 Dec. I reckon it's the 15th.

Northey · 17/04/2012 08:06

Good luck at the doc's today, dotty. Come back and update straight away so we can live the diffedness dream by proxy. Any symptoms yet?

The Wogan lives near me

Today I have really sensitive nipples. CD somewhere in the mid to late 20s.

FriendofDorothy · 17/04/2012 07:38

Thankyou very much Lor. I am off to the doctor in a bit to make it official.

Northey plz explain how you know The Wogan.

LauraBunnyBoilerPalmer · 17/04/2012 06:22

What what what???!!!! I leave the country for a few weeks and I miss all the excitement - Dory you're diffed!!!!!! Yahoooooooooooo!!!!!

I guess I've gotta go get my Eurovision on - for weeks I've been stuck out at sea in that leaky little dinghy...

Muchos besames, BESHes!

Northey · 16/04/2012 22:41

Ciao my darling other Eurovision nations. I am quite splendidly plastered (in the style of Terry Wogan on Eurovision night) whilst on a romantic city break with AMNH. It has included some sechs for fun, for the first time in years. I had forgotten how nice it can be. Is that the sort of comment that will turn out to e really vomiting when I read it sober?

By the way, have I mentioned that I very faintly sort of know Terry Wogan in real life?

FriendofDorothy · 16/04/2012 22:03

Bonsoir BESHes. I was thinking of you all this evening whilst at choir as we are singing so many songs in European languages that it feels like the Eurovision song contest. To be fair our accents are so bad Terry Wogan would have field day!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 16/04/2012 19:12

Bonjourno europhiles.

Looong day a work. Utterly ker-knackered.

Excellent seching cave and stirrup gymnastics euro.

Don't worry drizzly, I'm too chaotic for ff. I can barely keep my work diary/work lists up to date, let alone chart my pant snot and nipple tenderness.

Am still vaguely hoping for a win pre clinic, but can honestly say have never felt less preggo.

Faith - onwards and upwards- marathon, not a sprint etc!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/04/2012 17:20

Well done on dealing wiv the outsourcing baybee making. I know it's a lot more clinical but like you say, if it's worth it...
It sounds like you've made a valiant effort this cycle cavey, 5am is super impressive!
I've had a better day, I've been round to my sister's and played with DNephew. Lots of tickling and giggling :) and I've also been into Tesco and puchased the a few bits and the jammies I liked -Northey I decided you were right - £5 off too! I also filled the car up with petrol and got home without wanting to cry Grin progress indeed!

eurochick · 16/04/2012 16:56

Normal 2ww, cavey.

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/04/2012 16:01

Hello-goodbye (isn't that eurovision

CaveMum · 16/04/2012 14:30

Ooo fingers, toes and all other apendages crossed for you Euro. Is it a 2ww or do you get tested sooner?

eurochick · 16/04/2012 14:08

Ooooo, good work, cavey. As you know, we have now outsourced that messy business. I have to say, I didn't get the usual warm afterglow with my feet up in stirrups and three people wandering around the theatre, but if it does the job....
