Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

I know. Those people who get pregnant after a drunken fumble in a cupboard or something really piss me off.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/04/2012 09:28

Doesn't it seem baffling that some people get a win without trying by just dtd once?!

FriendofDorothy · 19/04/2012 09:18

The cycle we got a win we did

CD 5,6,8,10,12,13,14,15,26,18,22

It was exhausting!

Northey · 19/04/2012 09:06

Ummm, a red one Blush. Possibly a Volkswagen something. I am not really a car-minded girl.

We have done CD 13,14,15,17,18,19,20,23,24,25,27...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/04/2012 08:44

Droid is ridiculously short Norf this one was really all done in one horrendously blood bath stylee night with just spotting so yes, I'll confess we start the sechsing at the tail end of Droid which is often cd3! Had a fair crack this cycle: think it's been 3,6,9,11,12.
Poor MSB is shattered from all the extra hours but it's done and was good for business. I've promised him a bath when he gets home tonight, poor fella.
Get your vroom vroom on then Norf! What car are you learning in?

Northey · 19/04/2012 08:24

Driving lesson later. Other than that, not much!

Northey · 19/04/2012 08:24

Poor AMNH, pleasantly merry and hoping to collapse into bed, only to be met with my tapping foot, folded arms and stern gaze (how could any man resist me?).

Could you shag during dying days of droid to give yourselves more of a run up? Or does that totally gross you out?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/04/2012 07:37

Yeah, you have to go for it don't you? I feel we're at opposite ends of the spectrum. I seem to ov so early there's hardly chance to get going, but you never know when it's going to happen so it becomes relentless!
What you up to today aside from thinking of inventive ways to lure AMNH into bed?

Northey · 19/04/2012 07:33

CD28. Last cycle was 44 days, so if this one is the same then I could be fertile now, assuming a 14 day luteal phase. Hence my keenness to do it last night, despite amnh's drunkenness.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 19/04/2012 07:22

Oh dear Northey! What cd are you now? I made a comment not so long ago that I felt like I was being drilled, that did not go down well! It's sad when the sechs becomes a chore.

Northey · 19/04/2012 07:03

Last night I uttered the fatal words, "How much longer is this going to take?" I think our sechsing has hit a new low.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 22:11

Ooh I've had a look. I think I'll be signing up :)

Hooray MSB is home earlier than expected to warm me up and distract me :)
Yes it was a no brainer for him to go!
I am into HP bugs. Is it which house you'd go in? Cos I'm a bit worried I'll end up in Hufflepuff! Grin

Ah bugs we're all unreasonably jealous, is why we are BESH. I had similar with a school friend who got married a month before us, they announced her pregnancy about six months after DC#1 was born! Then I wondered if they had ttc issues with DC#1 and DC#2 was a surprise? Who knows? I congratulated her then hid her on Facebook!
Oh my days, the codiene withdrawal is just hideous. Probably a good job MSB is working late, not sure he'd want to procreate with me if he sees me like this! I'm just trying to push through it. Can distract mysef with The Apprentice for now anyway!

Gracias all re the curtains. I reminded MSB last night that since he's in the building trade he will think of the house in terms of bricks, mortor ?sp and timber but what makes it a home is the furnishings etc. At which point he declared I sounded like a Homebase advert to be fair he was tipsy! but I stick by it. He also underestimates how much the furnishings will cost!
Shreddie I have relatively short cycle - average 26 cycles but shortest on record was 24!- so I tend to ovulate on the early side. I tend to initiate the sechs as soon as the Droid retreats and it's comfortable iykwim...I am confused cos FF thinks I've ovulated but I've only really seen sticky pant snot! My advice would be to lure your OH to the bouidor ASAP! Cos who knows?!
bugs sounds like you have a health approach to ttc this cycle. What will be etc.

ShredniVashtar · 18/04/2012 18:36

Bon soir, toutes les BESH.

Faith, I agree with others about the curtains - you'll have them for a long time, they'll make your house feel homely and that's a really good price for a whole house! So enjoy them and don't listen to any naysaying.

My body is playing some confusing tricks on me this month. CD 8 yesterday, and had lots of ewcm. Wasn't expecting that for another 7 days at least. Anyone else get random cm? Maybe it's my ultra healthy lifestyle paying off

Good work on all the sechs and happy holiday planning, bugs!

Northey · 18/04/2012 15:30

Hello bonjour from ze French adjudicateuse.

Congratulations to those who have timed sex and ovulation well. And commiserations to cavey from one who understands all too well the frustration of just plugging away endlessly with ovulation happening unpredictably (if at all).

faifster, in my experience, the menz have no clue at all how much house things cost, so their approval or otherwise of the price isn't something that should concern us.

Cavey my trip to Dunelm could be summed up with this: when my Dad came to meet me, I was rummaging in the bargain bin Grin
I can't believe you've got to cd30 now without laying an egg :( At least the bloods will prove you're right to the clinic very fine silver lining Here's hoping that the travelling for sechs is prudent.
Yes somehow I think this weather will leave me looking after a rather hyper 2 year old!

CaveMum · 18/04/2012 11:46

Tis absolutely foul here (east angular). Nil points for the weather.

CD30 here and still no ov. The clinic told me to have a blood test so I've given them an armful this morning. I know what the result will be, but hey ho! HWHNN is coming home tonight for precautionary sechs, though I'm not convinced anything is going on down there.

£400 for curtains sounds tres reasonable Faithy. I daren't tell you what we spent on just 4 pairs for our living room and hallway, though to be fair one window is 11ft wide!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 18/04/2012 11:30

Allejujah! :)
Is it as miserable with you lot as it is here? I could sort some boxes but somehow I'm glued to E4...
