Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Cavey, that sounds great about the job! You are being v good about resisting the stick peeing...

Faithy surely they should have diagnosed that weeks ago! Grrrr.

I'm 9 dpo and feeling very PMT-y. I'm as sure as I can be at this point that the IUI hasn't worked. I'll be POAS on Friday to see if I can stop the steroids, but that'll just be a formality frankly.

So, the Rulvakia, Eurovision entry. Shall we start with a title? It needs to be suitably cheesy and suited to us. "Be my baby"? Or a Lordi style rock anthem of "Fvk the instadiffed"?

Ok visited doctor who now thinks....UTI? Worst UTI ever! So I have more potential baybee kind antibiotics. I hope these do the trick!
cavey MSB keeps trying to make me POAS and I am resisting. I may test Friday just in case of a fufc since I'll be about 14 dpi then.

CaveMum · 25/04/2012 10:02

You're all going to hate me, but I am holding out till the weekend before POASing. My theory being by then I will be somewhere between 11 and 18 dpo so should get a true result.
I don't have any pee sticks in the house, if I did I would have used them up by now!

Exciting times Cavey!

Re. the promotion, my boss was offered top boss's job just after she'd had IVF and she took it, after all she had no idea if the embryos would take and stick. She is about to go on mat leave to have her twins! I then hmmed and haaed about applying for her job for the same reason as you but was offered in Feb - and got diffed the same month. Yes I'm dreading telling the Board in the next week but not as much as I'm happy to be diffed. Of course my boss has been nothing but understanding - she understood why I couldn't put my life on hold 'just in case'.

Now poas!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 09:07

Indeed.

POAS good woman!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/04/2012 09:06

Oh and norf Hmm would have been my response to sechsy football murmerings. It was a good game, though. Winning with 10 men (outing myself as anothe footie-widow).

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/04/2012 09:05

Halloo (clearly Rulvakian is like Estonian, since they are neighbouring countries Wink and it is easy to remember!)

I am stuffy and coldy and grumpy. But excited about the mountains and blooming countryside. And about cavy's multiple chances. Take the opportunities and go for them!! And POAS, obviously. Agree with fee and bugs.

Ah norf they're so precious about their footie teams aren't they?! Tell him he needs to step up his game off the field. That's speaking his language!
cavey that sounds like a big compliment. I had that qualm when I first took on my secondments (first year after 9 months ttc, second after 21!) and I'd have felt bad if I had got doffed before the end of either. To be fair, I still dunno what I'll be doing after September but I got tired of not taking opportunities while waiting to get diffed. They can't blame you for getting diffed! And you won't be off on mat leave forever....

CaveMum · 25/04/2012 08:07

Halloo! (have we decided what "hello" in Rulvakian is yet.)

I'm here, still no sign of droid so I'm now in with a chance - luteal phase is usually 15 days and 16 days ago we started our sechs marathon. Of course the fact that I can't pinpoint ovulation means I have no idea if I am now late or still have a week to go Confused

I found out yesterday in work that my boss is retiring at the end of the year, and was told by our Chairman that they "had not ruled out promoting someone internally" and that he'd like me to "think about it". I'm enormously flattered, my boss has run the company for almost 30 years, but now I'm having scary thoughts about taking on such responsibility and potentially disappearing on maternity leave shortly after taking over.

Northey · 25/04/2012 07:54

Not bad, not bad. Still a little nonplussed by AMNH's choice of sechsy murmurings last night. Hearing about Chelsea's Champions' League brilliance really doesn't do it for me. Though it was very funny when I mockingly called them "brave little soldiers, battling on" and he got a bit choked up.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 07:50

Well I think it should be co-written by the BESH, shall we do a ballad? Or a more upbeat number? Also a bit decision is are we going to write it in English or Rulvakian? Suppose it depends on how many rhyming words there are in Rulvakian.
How is everyone this drab grey fine morning?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 25/04/2012 07:11

Sounds cool

Shall crank up the old pc at some point...

So, citizens of Rulvakia, back to important things. What is our Eurovision entry. I think great things are expected...

CaveMum · 24/04/2012 22:37

It is worth the effort. It's a sort of animation thing that puts the size of things into perspective. It starts with a person and you can zoom in to microscopic atomic particles or zoom out to planets, suns, galaxies and eventually the entire universe.
It's kinda nerdy, but that's why I like it!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 24/04/2012 22:31

Same here cave. Only iPhone/pad Blush

There is an old laptop under the sofa but not sure it'll still turn on...

But I'm intrigued now. What's the link?

Belly rubs to all the diffed (and rest assured, would would be deemed deserving by the Rulvakian high commission)

Good to see you back shred. I'm cd4. Yawn.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 22:23

Aw cavey I've only got iPhone-iPad! :(
euro I just started a major blurb fest here due to a combo of what I can only a assume is hormones and pain. I have admitted defeat and will go to the GP tomorrow even if it means facing the horror of being readmitted

eurochick · 24/04/2012 21:55

I'm not too glum, really. Just a bit "meh". I think the PMT hormone dip is starting and it is contributing, tbh.

12 weeks, already blonde - wow!

CaveMum · 24/04/2012 21:54

Just wanted to share this link with you all. I posted it in Chat but it didn't attract much attention. It is truly amazing, though unfortunately it won't open on iPhone/iPads.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 21:35

It does seem like a long time since you got your bfp. I always find that when I know about diffedness after 12 weeks it flies by but if it's early days, it seems like a long wait. Well hurry up Thursday! And then pop along and tell us all so we can do some celebratory nekkid dancing because I'm brimming with positivity for you and bean

blonderthanred · 24/04/2012 21:10

I know, every day has felt like an aeon but still can't believe nearly at that point. Official scan is Monday but am having "reassurance" scan Thurs following bleed. Well hopefully it will be reassuring anyway.

ShredniVashtar · 24/04/2012 21:08

My ears are burning! I am here, just not a prolific poster as faith says. I often look at mn on my phone, which makes me purple with rage is not conducive to posting. And you ladies post FAST!

Not sure what I've missed up fred, but briefly:
Hello blonde! Good news about still being diffed. Fx for your scan.
Northey - good news on getting the clomid. Sending positive thoughts your way.

News here is that it's cd 15. Temps still low, and trying not to get upset about sechs fail earlier this evening. Tomorrow's another day and all that.

More from the outer reaches of Ruvlakia anon!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 20:49

Wow nearly twelve weeks?! Tentative congrats, have you got a scan date?

blonderthanred · 24/04/2012 20:31

All being well, I am twelve weeks on Thursday Faithy.

I think you should all get badges. I luff a good badge.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 24/04/2012 20:23

Surely you get a flag sinky, to stick in the ground? And a national holiday in your name?
Pleased to hear the baybee is staying put blondie! < superglues fanjo shut> How far along are you now?
I'm not sure about the newbies, I think shredni is just not a very prolific poster. winkly has gone very quiet. New Beshies are you ok?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 24/04/2012 20:15

I think we scared them off...

I blame the dragons

drizzel, I know I may have named dropped Rulvakia initially, but honestly didn't think it would become a whole world with high commissioners, barren wastelands and judgey pants. Not that I'm complaining. I like it here.

But can I have some medals for being the discoverer? I could be like Raleigh, or drake, or Columbus or something. Not really sure of the details. But I want medals. And a velvet sash. Purple. And a hat

That is all.
