Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Thanks guys

faith Grin at MSB so excited!

Am going to ask at clinic. Don't know about the last cycle at the mo. I did take the last dose of this cycle this morning though. norf, I would put up with it if I thought it might work! But this is 8cycles down and about to talk ivf. In my heart, I just don't think the 9th round is going to do any different.

cave, I had the sweats at first, but seems to have worn off. Was really sweaty last night (Mmmmm), but think that may have been the gut wrenching terror..

Ooh, and to all it may apply to... POAS!

CaveMum · 26/04/2012 08:12

Tell you what Faith, I'll make a deal with you: if droid does not appear in the next few days we both POAS on Sunday?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 08:07

Oh sinky you poor lovely! I'm sorry you've been suffering. It might be worth investigating it in more detail and asking the clinic? I wonder if they've discovered anything that helps...
dor hope you get the blood test done soon so you can eat! Bit scary about the chest pain, how long has that been there? Are you breathless at all? Coughing? Hope the nurse puts your mind at ease.
I'm rather emotional watching One Tree Hill repeats when Hayley's Mum dies of cancer. Interestingly when it was on in the evenings it was still too. raw and I couldn't watch it, now I can watch it even if I am a bit emotional
I am feeling a touch better, I think the antibiotics might be helping a bit. Since I've only just taken my fourth dose this is very encouraging! Chart remains good, temp still up :) MSB is far too excited and has been googling triphasic charts (although if anything it's quadphasic) Hmm and keeps jumping up and down telling be to POAS!

CaveMum · 26/04/2012 07:58

Poor you sinky, I've not suffered from nightmares while on Clomid but I have heard from others that they can cause "vivid dreams", so it would make sense. Might be worth popping your head in on one of the Clomid support threads in Conception.
The only symptom I get is god awful night sweats, waking up in pools of sweat - nice Hmm

Nothing to report here, trying very hard not to menkul failing miserably

Northey · 26/04/2012 07:46

Oh gosh, sinkster, that sounds shit. Nightmares aren't on my Clomid info sheet, whatever that scrappy 2 sider is worth. But it sounds v plausible to me that they would be a side effect, especially as you get them in such a cyclical way. You poor thing. Are they really bad enough to keep you from doing the last cycle?

FriendofDorothy · 26/04/2012 07:42

I have a feeling the nightmares are one of the very common symptoms of Clomid.

I have to go and see the practice nurse this morning for fasting blood tests. I am starving. I also have chest pain so I am quite pleased I am seeing her today!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 26/04/2012 07:28

Halloo citizens.

Can I pick the collected clomid minds?

I've mentioned this before, but I'm getting most godawful nightmares (up since 4 today) on cd4-6/7. 3 out of last 4 cycles. Last night horrendous. Never had anything like this before and the rest of the time sleep like a log.

Anyone else had nightmares? Going to clinic in 2 weeks, so no more to take at the mo.

Have 1 cycle left. Not sure I'll take it.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 21:53

Yes euro and even though this wasn't that hard fought, I think it's the fact that she expected it to be, suspected it may never happen.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 21:52

:) that's lovely cavey. We've been friends since 6th form but aren't as close as we used to be. I cried because of how she handled it and her diplomacy my hormones are playing no part in the at all

eurochick · 25/04/2012 21:51

The hard won pregnancies are easier to take, I find.

CaveMum · 25/04/2012 21:43

Faith I think it makes a huge difference when people announcing their diffedness are sensitive about it. I've not had a single jealous thought towards my best friend because I know she struggled to conceive and she was so concerned about telling me.
In fact I'm quite the opposite of jealous, I've already started buying things for her and the baby and she's only 16 weeks!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 21:33

Ooh definitely worth a menkul norf. I will join you in the nausea/sore boob camp. Nausea is in no way due to pain and antibiotics. Nope. Glad the driving lesson went ok.
I have one of the loveliest friends on the planet. She knows we've had trouble ttc, I told her a while ago. It took her 2.5 years to get pregnant with her DS. She has PCOS and hadn't had a droid for 2 years when she got diffed. He's coming up for 2 now. I know she wanted another but doubted it would happen with her previous issues and obviously she's not entitled to ivf. She's just messaged me to say she's diffed again. But she was so sensitive, like 'i know you've struggled and I know how hard I found it. I wanted to tell you myself but I understand if you don't want to get in touch with me for a while'. Bizarrely I'm really happy for her! Not Jel at all. She's had such a hard time of it and been so sensitive about it, I feel like ate deserves it somehow?! Or maybe I'm just growing? yeah right

Northey · 25/04/2012 20:34

Not bad, thanks. Driving lesson went well. And I only ate half the banana cake.

I think my boobs are a bit sore. And I did a tiny bit of sick in my mouth about half an hour ago. Worth a menkul? It's cd34, I think.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 20:15

So how has everyone's day been?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 19:27
Grin
Northey · 25/04/2012 19:16

BRILLIANT! That's the first smile I've, er, cracked all day.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 17:40

Ha I've only read the first 10 but I've been laughing my arse head off! Brilliant dor :)

FriendofDorothy · 25/04/2012 17:26

This has kept me amused for some time this afternoon!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 15:19

Well I've just downloaded the MN app because the mobile site was not too iPhone friendly. Must confess it's rather good Grin it even has easy to press smileys. Hopefully I'll be doing less typos from now on...

Northey · 25/04/2012 14:05

Chocolate caramels! Dribble.

I have just made banana bread. To use up a black banana . Not at all so that I can eat it all Blush

Poor drizz. The food will help. Have some wine too.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 14:01

The white cells do indeed indicate a UTI. No talk of readmission but suggested I try a bit of ibuprofen because I shouldn't get too wheezy with it. The time when I got really wheezy on it I did indeed have a chest infection which probably didn't help. Yes here's hoping the third course of antibiotics work their magic Hmm
drizz since I got home I've eaten half a tub of garlic and onion dip with crisps, most of a bag of chocolate caramels, a creme egg and a bag of jelly babies. Mmmm sugar. So don't sweat it. It's medicinal for both of us Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/04/2012 13:16

Hang in there euro. It ain't over til the robot arrives/the computer says no/etc. I am feeling weepy, PMT-y, fat and miserable too. But it must be the trigger-shot talking. So I am comforting myself with fatty, sugary snacks.

I prefer the shouty, anti-instadiff rock, but that once again is my state of mind...

OMG faith all this horror-hospitlisation has infact been a ridiculous UTI!?! I am so sorry, fingers crossed the drugs help (and it came back because you are in fact diffed!)

Cave well done on stick ignoring!!

Northey · 25/04/2012 13:16

Do white cells indicate a UTI? It really is unbelievable how this is dragging on and leaving you in pain. Was there any talk of readmitting you?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/04/2012 12:43

Well this morning I have white cells in my wee which were there the very first time I went to the docs 4 weeks ago. They may have been hidden from view for a while because of the two courses of antibiotics I had. Now it's been a full fortnight without any antibitoics, they have popped up again. Who knows? But frankly I'll take anything to feel better! :)
Hang in there euro. I know it's been a tough emotional ride especially this cycle.
I like both the titles. I think it should be a heavy rock thing. Worked for Lourdi!

Northey · 25/04/2012 12:38

I rather like the "Fuk the instadiffed", myself. Perhaps it could have a lyrical "be my baby" interlude befor the final thrash chorus. A bit like McCartney shoe-horning a verse of random bounciness into Lennon's twangy sitar woo.
