Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

What kind of pant snot was it though? Was it creamy?

CaveMum · 27/04/2012 09:21

I say 17dpo, based on guess work! In reality I am anything from 10dpo upwards as all I know is I ov'd before my bloodtest, which was last Wednesday.

Now for way too much information, but I had another rush of pant snot this morning. Loads of it and (apologies if anyone is eating breakfast) it was literally running out of me when I went to the loo.
I'm paranoid that the bloodtest was wrong and I'm actually in the verge of laying an egg now. Arrrggghhh!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 09:18

cavey I've had a nose at your chart, I'd imagine your cover line is around 96.9, so it is still looking good!
I am a bit Shock I rang my boss to say I was still sick MSB says I'm not fit yet! and he actually asked how I was! Tis a miracle.

FriendofDorothy · 27/04/2012 09:01

oooooooooo I am hoping for another diffing to join me in my menkulling!

Fibgers (and everything else) crossed.

KatAndKit · 27/04/2012 08:46

17dpo? Getting a bit excited and watching this space for cavey poas action!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 08:30

I think Sunday is a good plan cavey. I'm in :)

CaveMum · 27/04/2012 08:16

Holding out for Sunday [stubborn]. The clinic told me to wait 2 weeks after my blood test, which takes me to next Wednesday Shock
That ain't happening!

I shall avail myself of the local purveyor of fabulous medicine (aka Superdrug) at lunchtime.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 08:09

Blimey, quite a few x-posts! Yes cavey I think you're well due to POAS if you're about 17dpo! It helps that I only have an FRER because it's so expensive I won't waste by peeing on it too early! MSB has been looking at the box telling me to % accuracy each day but I'd say there's too much room for doubt. Waiting a couple more days won't change things. I am either not diffed and my temp drop will tell me or I am and my temp will stay up.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 08:02

Tis fairy snuff that you've been keeping a low profile bugs. Not sure if deleting the tracker has helped much if you know when you ovvd and when the droid is due?! Hmm but if it helps you not to obsess too much, Tis a good thing. To be fair charting helps me in some ways, when I get a temp drop it prepares me for droid but at this point I just get a bit obsessive looking at my chart, looking at the charting gallery, keep contemplating paying to become a VIP member of FF but when I had that trial I got obsessed with the tracker.
I'm just killing time til I go to the FC :( without MSB. I'm quite relieved to think the uppity junior who saw me last time will have rotated on by now though I expect her replacement will be much the same. Won't take my charts since she was so mean about charting last time but will take a list of my cycles. Ho hum. Hoping it's the last time I have to go!

CaveMum · 27/04/2012 08:02
  1. Assuming I laid my egg around Day 22 that makes me 17dpo.
Northey · 27/04/2012 07:59

What day are you now, cavemum?

CaveMum · 27/04/2012 07:58

[kisses Bugs continental styleee]

Faith, well-resisted! I know if I had any sticks in the house I'd have peed all over them by now, so it's just safer not to have any in the house! I will go out and buy some today.

I am not menkuling. No way. Not me. No siree.

[lies through teeth]

FriendofDorothy · 27/04/2012 07:58

I will get a 12 week scan anyway, even if I don't have the nuchal thingy. Actually, one of the advantages of being fat is I will get additional scannage.

Northey · 27/04/2012 07:53

cross post, bugs. You are very much missed, but we all know the need for headspace...

Don't fancy giving us a blast of Boom Bang a Bang before you go?

Northey · 27/04/2012 07:50

faif you wuss. Still, it saves a stick, I suppose. Will you do it tomorrow? Your temp is clearly pausing to gather strength for massive final surge.

Buzzwams even sorer today.

Bottled out of POAS this morning. Droid isn't actually due til Tuesday. Temp dropped 0.1 degree on my chart but nowhere near cover line. Will continue to menkul.
Interesting to hear your buzzwams are tender norf Hmm

KatAndKit · 27/04/2012 06:38

dor I had the bloods and the NT scan as they were offered routinely here. Once I got a low risk result from that I was happy to leave it at that. I personally would have to have had a very high risk result to consider the amnio.
Will you get a scan at 12 weeks anyway if you don't have the NT scan? If not then I would personally pay for the NT scan just to get a look at the baby.

Northey · 26/04/2012 23:42

Bah, too much unexpectedness in my previous post. My brain is clearly addled with lime and soda.

Northey · 26/04/2012 23:41

Have been at pub quiz. Winning, in fact (the favourites had an unexpected collapse in the final round so we unexpectedly seized the crown).

My boobs are definitely sore.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 22:42

Is everyone ok?!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 19:33

dor having had plenty of time to think about it, I think I'd do the same. The bloods give you an indicator but personally I don't think I'll want to take the risk of an amino. Obviously cost comes into it for you too, I assume you have some time to decide for certain?
My sister's friend was told her daughter had a 3/4 chance of having significant LD. She was encouraged to think very carefully about continuing the pregnant. She went ahead as prepared as she could be and had DD. She's actually a genius! Smile
I'm not menkulling at all. Oh no. Not me. Hmm

FriendofDorothy · 26/04/2012 19:18

I have to decide whether we have screening for Down's Syndrome. They do things slightly differently over here.

We get blood tests as routine which gives you a likelihood of whether you could have a Down's baby, and then there is another test called the nuchal translucency test which also gives you the probability, but maybe a better assessment of the odds. Then if you have a high chance you can go on and have amnio. We don't get offered nuchal test free so it would cost £200.

I think we have decided to have basic bloods only. The reality is that we wouldn't have amnio anyway (the risks of miscarriage are higher than the risks of having a Down's baby) so what's the point of having the test done.

Phew! Hope that makes sense.

Sorry to be whinging about this sort of stuff to you guys.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/04/2012 18:31

Sorry it didn't refresh for me to realise I'd x-posts with your dor. It's understandable that you're anxious at the moment. We're here if you want to think things through.
To clarify norf I bought two choices of curtains for the bedroom and made MSB pick, I only returned the pair he didn't like. You know what it's like sometimes you leave these things for ages/lose the receipt? So I'm glad I got it done :)
Yes if you have the thrush I recommend canestan to treat and also probiotics to help the friendly bacteria improve things from the insides seasoned expert

Northey · 26/04/2012 17:59

What tests, sweetie? Or would you rather not say?

Well done for successful expeditions, faith, though boo for the returning of the curtains.

I think I have got thrush. Ow. Ow ow ow ow ow OW! I am going to have to have a sex break, as that was jus excruciating!
