Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

It's ttc + hormones, Faith. It's the monthly double whammy of finding out that it hasn't worked (yet again) plus the hormone dip that makes me feel like I want to stamp on the world. I'll be fine in a couple of days but I am in the middle of two days of feeling vile at the moment.

You're both being very industrious! I'm in the office, MNing working. Boooooooooring.

On the upside, the sitting room now smells pleasantly of Persil, rather than sweaty games kit and muddy boots (AMNH is splendid in many ways, but his habit of taking off his kit and draping it over the nearest chair and then leaving it there till he fancies wearing it for another run is frankly a valid excuse for murder).

Northey · 28/04/2012 11:51

I have spent the morning trying to clean years' worth of accumulated muddy paw prints off some cream coloured sofas (whatever possessed us?), so if adult cats would do instead, you are most welcome to mine.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/04/2012 11:38

No but I've got a smelly hamster Hmm even though only just cleaned him out. Rubbish baybee substitute. Is it the bfn/ttc situation or is there other stuff going on?
I've had a burst of productivity, have loaded and run the dishwasher, vacced ran downstairs - including between the gaps of the sofa which pulls apart boak at old food down there! and parcelled up my old phone for sending off....and collapse on the sofa!

eurochick · 28/04/2012 11:26

Morning ladies. I am in a terribly black mood this morning. Has anyone got some kittens they would like me to kick?

Don't forget to scoff some probiotics to help your body with it's natural defences! Yes I'm definitely better on the antibiotics, pain is more manageable and I feel a bit better in myself already. I'm motivated to tidy up and clean which is encouraging! Glad I've got this week off, hopefully I'll be well by this time next week since we've got a family holiday booked to the Lakes. Normally we climb lots of hills, I know I'll only manage short walks but my boss has ok'd me having it as leave if I am fit. Time away with all that fresh air will do me the power of good! I have learnt my lesson with this though, full lurve embargo until I've finished the antibiotics to kick this once and for all!

Northey · 28/04/2012 08:55

I did (well, I found an ancient tube in the bathroom) a couple of days ago. I still feel like its on the verge of lingering, but don't want to get the balance wrong in the other direction, so am hoping my body will see off the last trace on its own.

How are you feeling today? Any improvement from the new antibiotics?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/04/2012 08:47

Yes I agree with North, Tis rather early cavey! But I know you enjoy it so I'll let you off :)
North are you still suffering? Did you get Canestan?

Northey · 28/04/2012 08:41

Nul points to stupid bfns and thrush!

That's impressively early for exercise, cavey.

Buzzwams have a hint of tenderness if I thump prod them from the right angle. No droid though.

CaveMum · 28/04/2012 08:24

Oh faify I am sorry. As you say, perhaps it is too soon just yet.

HWHNN spent 10 minutes trying to convince me to wait till Weds again!

Off for a dance lesson now, but will be back later.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/04/2012 07:58

Greetings from the Czech Republic!
Update from me: so after not inconsiderable pressure from MSB, I POAS this morning with an FRER. BFN! :( Problem is MSB takes an FRER as gospel and starts hopping round 6 data before droid is due looking at the statistics! So I'm a tad confused because my temp is still up - see here and it usually drops by 12dpo, I'm now 13. But I have cramps and dull lower back ache - normal. No spotting yet - not normal. So essentially, I will continue to menkul and refuse to buy FRER in the future to stop the pressure from him for early testing!
He's gone off to work a but doomy/gloomy because he thinks it's all over since the FRER says no. I choose to eat a brie and bacon toastie, drink a cuppa and enjoy some chocolate raisins whilst watching Gok. No definite plans for later but I might buy some new shoes online.

ShredniVashtar · 28/04/2012 07:30

Buenos Dias everyone.

Northey :-( about the boobs. Hang in there, you never know.
cavey and faith good luck for pee stick action! Hope they come out with the right response for once.

I'm definitely into menkul territory now. Despite having drunk a whole bottle of cough medicine for its supposed magical powers of enhancing cm, I have seen no effect other than to possibly have given myself thrush due to all the sugar. Grrrrr. north, I feel your pain!

What's everyone up to today? Any plans that defy all this rain?

Northey · 27/04/2012 23:28

My boobs are less sore now :(

Oh well, it was a pleasant menkul while it lasted.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 22:37

bugs that sounds rubbish. Mums do indeed have that knack. I think they're astounded if you do things differently from them! Enjoy the Wine and take some deep breaths!
cavey we have opposite ends of the spectrum, MSB keeps encouraging me to POAS and I keep saying it's too early!

CaveMum · 27/04/2012 21:48

HWHNN has confiscated my newly bought pregnancy tests to prevent me using them before Sunday. He thinks I'm testing too soon, but only because he doesn't want me to be disappointed.
I did tell him you lot would hunt me down if I failed to POAS as promised Grin

bugs, sorry that your mum makes you feel that way. As norf so rightly says, mothers have a great knack for it! At least there is Wine

Northey · 27/04/2012 21:24

bugs, that's crap. Does she often make you feel like that? Mothers are just in a unique position for being able to get to you in a way noone else can, because of their closeness to you. I always take criticism from my mother far more personally than from anyone else. Anyway, I am a cold house lover too, and bet your house is gorgeously fresh, so an enormous raspberry to her.

Nice work dor, we're doing the babysitting thing too with my nephew. He was pushing his limits but calmed down when I suggested the naughty step Wink and got him down in about 30 minutes. Bless him.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 20:15

You'd probably get a Chelski theme norf. I'd get married in Old Trafford Hmm

FriendofDorothy · 27/04/2012 19:33

God this childcare thing is a piece of piss. My sister and wanker-in-law have buggered off to a posh dinner where she is giving me a speech. As she walked out of the door she made a comment that Eden has been a pain in the arse when going to bed... oh I don't think so. She went to sleep within 15 minutes of me going upstairs with her. I feel bloody smug (especially as my sister says she has been really clingy and won't go to anyone else lately). Hah!

Northey · 27/04/2012 18:14

Oh God no. AMNH would have dancing and loud bangy music all night, and a massive cheeseboard instead of any food. But would forget about anywhere for people to sit. Or wee.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 17:29

Well it's encouraging that you're getting end of cycle signs now eh? Yes do join in the POAS club! I think MSB was really disappointed that they didn't test me today actually! Impatient much?!
They are fake eclairs been to Aldi but they aren't half bad.
I'm watching Don't tell the bride again and while I know they only pick the control freak brides, I still can't get my head around the idea of why you'd do it if you had a really specific idea of what you wanted?! I luff MSB but there's no way he could have planned our wedding on his own!

Northey · 27/04/2012 17:19

Mmmm, chocolate eclairs.

Northey · 27/04/2012 17:18
  1. (last cycles 44, 74 and 33 in reverse order). Am contemplating joining you for a Sunday POAS.
