Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

I feel like have had several howls already this morning! I know it'll pass, in a few hours I'll be feeling semi-normal and by tomorrow be back to something resembling normal [attemps a feeble Smile]

Northey · 29/04/2012 10:10

Oh my poor love. What happens if you give into it for a really thorough howl? Is it easier to come back to normal afterwards, or does that leve you down in the depths?

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 10:03

Yes, he's here, though I've been hiding from him by crying in the shower/bedroom while he's downstairs working on his laptop

It sounds stupid, but it feels worse somehow this time because it's my birthday in just under 2 weeks and I was clinging on to the hope that I might get pregnant while I'm 30. It was always "the plan" to have a baby before I was 30 and I was kidding myself that it still counted if I got pregnant before turning 31.

HWHNN is wonderful and very supportive. He knows I'm prone to bouts of, what we'll loosely call "depression", but sometimes his method of support and encouragement (telling me that I have to think positively and that we've got a lot going for us and we're still young) makes me feel bad about being upset, and it's just a downward spiralling, self-fulfilling prophecy from there.

Northey · 29/04/2012 09:48

Ooooh, faith. Just...ooooh.

Northey · 29/04/2012 09:47
Northey · 29/04/2012 09:46

Is HWHNN with you or working today? It is so fucking hard having to do it the way you are (we were in that situation last year too), when you are alone all week for nenkulling and overthinking and obsessing and dreaming.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 09:46

What a morning! Very sorry to hear the pee stick was stupid and ignorant and your chart has gone bizarre! I agree with shreddie's plan for your day. I think you should ring the clinic spooner rather than later cos who knows what's going on?!
norf that's uber patient waiting til next week to POAS! I know what you mean, I've always expected a bfp on a weekend.
Interesting re the minimal pink pant snot. Clearly a sit and wait scenario. Much like my own. Temp has gone back up to 36.6! I'm a tad confused. So I've decided to wait til after droid's expected date before I POAS again.
shred thank goodness you had the wine. It's never easy but wine certainly helps!

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 09:43

Thanks all. I'm in my usual "can't stop crying" phase at the moment, which I know is stupid but I just feel so deflated again, even though I had convinced myself that I hadn't got my hopes up.

Feeling very close to throwing the towel in at the moment Sad

Northey · 29/04/2012 09:13

Weird pinky goo is still there, btw. For those who want to keep tabs on my pant snot/droid status.

Northey · 29/04/2012 09:12

Battled out to shops through freezing horizontal rain and discovered that of course they are all closed till 10 on Sunday. So I have come home and weeed. Ahhhhhh. I shall now try and wait till next weekend, I think (if I am diffed, I would like to discover it on a day AMNH doesn't have to go off to work).

Nul points and a stony state from the judges for hilarity's FB differs.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 29/04/2012 09:06

Hey folks.

Sorry cave. Stupid rubbish stick. Was it your progesterone tha was measured? That only goes up if you've laid, right? I don't really understand charts/temps etc (the main reason I can stay away from ff, so no tutorials required!). Fingers crossed something happen, whether that's a late win, or just a droidal appearance so you know where you are.

shred well done on surviving surprise announcement. I was avoiding work yesterday and was flicking through fb. 'Found' 3 more friend are diffed. Suppose I should be greatful they're not the plaster it all over the web types, but still, made for a pretty depressing Saturday night in.

Any decision on the wee action yet north?

ShredniVashtar · 29/04/2012 08:58

Oooh, Northey don't hold it in! < bitter memories of cystitis> Pee in a jam jar and then go to the shops if you must. [stern] How many dpo are you now?

Northey · 29/04/2012 08:48

I'm sorry cavey, and a massive ARGGHH about stupid frustrating ovulation timings. What on earth is going on?

Commiserations about diffedness announcement, shreddies. At least there was wine.

Am currently holding in wee while I decide if I am going to nip out for a stick.

ShredniVashtar · 29/04/2012 08:43

cavey Sad sorry to hear that. I prescribe duvet, crap telly, chocolate and maybe gin later.

Had a great night with some old friends last night. Even managed to survive a surprise "I'm diffed" announcement, though not without the help of muchos vinos.

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 07:13

Morning all. Sorry to report another BFN here Sad

In ironic news, my temperature has shifted, so it's starting to look like that rush of pant snot might have been an ovulation after all. Not sure how that works considering the blood test said I had ov'd already. No chance of diffedness either as we haven't done the sechs since last weekend.

I'll do another test next weekend just to be sure, then phone the clinic for advice.

Northey · 28/04/2012 22:29

Sore boobs back again. I wish I'd bought a stick earlier to share in tomorrow's peeing.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/04/2012 21:02

X-posts norf but thinking about what you said, actually MSB lived with two girls in halls and they went on to house share for two more years. By all accounts, he is significantly improved from their tutoring. They expected a thank you from me when we met Grin so I suppose I should be grateful for what he does do!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/04/2012 20:55

Wow he really is a keeper euro! I I think you deserve a glass of wine euro. Did you have the vino in the end?
I only really question any of his behaviour a couple of days before droid comes which is fairly telling. We have had a chat and are ok-ish now. Just coming to the end of the American Pie Wedding :)

Northey · 28/04/2012 20:54

Perhaps it's for the best. If I leave AMNH before my work on him is done, he will just slide back to awfulness and some other poor girl will suffer.

eurochick · 28/04/2012 20:49

Oi, hands off. Do you know how many years of research I had to conduct by spending time with completely useless wankers to find this one?

OP posts:
Northey · 28/04/2012 20:44

Wow!

eurochick · 28/04/2012 20:22

KFZK is actually quite good at putting clothes in the basket, etc. I think years at an austere boarding school where they were probably bummed by priests for getting that kind of thing wrong has ended up with him being well trained.

He has his bad habits but does nearly all the cooking, so I am prepared to let a lot of things slide for that. Tonight's dinner was a whole turbot with a shrimp and brown butter sauce, white wine potatoes and asparagus. His cooking is one of the reasons we are day time sechs people. There is no way we could bump bellies after a feast like that!

OP posts:
CaveMum · 28/04/2012 20:01

Men, I have decided, are literal creatures. They need to be told every-damn-thing!

HWHNN is also guilty of the clothes dropping, I think it's genetic.

Northey · 28/04/2012 19:58

And even when you do spell it out, it goes in one ear and out the other. The day after my ovarian drilling I ended up in tears after AMNH had assured me he would take care of me, and yet somehow he had played on his phone all day while I did laundry and saw to the cats.
