Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

FriendofDorothy · 29/04/2012 19:40

We have just had a power cut so spent ages trying to find a torch etc and just as I got the batteries into the torch the power came back on!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 19:26

Gah why does MN keep going offline? How can I menkul?
What you lot been up to anyway?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 16:35

I'd just like to share the revelation that Aldi's 'cheeky monkey' ice cream is very much like Ben and Jerry's phish food. But half the price Grin

Northey · 29/04/2012 16:20

I totally understand the head/heart thing too.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 16:16

bugs I know exactly what you mean with the heart/head thing. Watch out for that Northey, she's a bit of perve it seems! Wink

Northey · 29/04/2012 16:05

I was only hugging you to grope your tits.

I'm glad HWHNN which is now saved on autocorrect btw is there for you. I really feel for you. you know I'm fairly clueless about PCOS and clomidness but it must be crap with HWHNN working away and the clomid messing up your cycles. I hope they give you another crack with the clomid. Tis good that HWHNN agreed to come with you next time.
Ah I'm enjoying happy popper so far. I really luff it when they're tiny! Grin

CaveMum · 29/04/2012 14:52

Grin @ Happy Popper!

I'm feeling better now thanks.im on the sofa with the cat curled up asleep on my lap. HWHNN has given me a pep talk and lots of cuddles, and has said he'll take the day off work to come to my next appointment at the clinic. They told me I have to book a review of my treatment once I start cycle 6. Originally they said they'd look at moving us on to IVF but I'm hoping they'll let me continue on Clomid for a bit longer, seeing as I'm on the lowest dose.

We were working things out and although we've done 5 cycles on Clomid, we screwed up 2 with sechs at the wrong time, didn't know what my cycles would be after all, and this one has been all screwy, so we've probably only had 2 real shots at getting diffed.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 14:49

Oh crossed posts norf, I'm sorry :( but I do think the clomid will help. Little consolation now though.
Nil points.

ShredniVashtar · 29/04/2012 14:46

Awww fanks!

Nil points for pant snot, North. And a tentative dix points for lack of pant action, Faith

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 14:41

shred may I just say, you are a luffly addition to fred.
To make up for being bitch queen from hell a bit mean to MSB last night I have ironed his shirts and trousers for work this week while he has a nap. He gets really tired on a Sunday when he works a 6 day week. Bless him. All whilst watching Happy Popper and the philosopher's stone. Just fancied it. Have the box set on blu-ray. Shall probably watch them over the next week or so.
Pant snot checking here continues to show nothing much.

Northey · 29/04/2012 14:40

Faint pink goo has turned to more opaque sort of splodges. It's not what I would call actual flow, but it's definitely similar to the normal pre-droid routine. I could actually cry. Instead I am eating chocolate and brooding furiously on the possibilities that the blood will stop. I guess it's on to the FUCKING Clomid, then.

ShredniVashtar · 29/04/2012 13:32

bugs keep calm, it's going to be fine. Just like North, my ectopic began with a constant blocked-up kind of pain. When it got to the point of rupturing it was unmistakably sharp and severe over the tube area. I didn't rupture until about 35 dpo and the docs were all surprised cos that was early. So you are very very unlikely to be in danger of that now.
I think faith is right and it may be worth getting checked for uti, if nothing else than to put your mind at rest.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 12:46

I know it's a prime time for menkulling. Not much comfort but those are the kind of pain symptoms that I started with with all my recent troubles kicked off. Any wee symptoms? Could it be UTI symptoms/kidney? I'd suggest you drink plenty today to try to flush your system.
Well we managed to get to church this morning but had to leave promptly afterwards because neither MSB or myself feels too chipper. He's gone for a lie down, I'm curled up on the sofa under a sleeping bag watching Big Bang, occasionally poking my giant buzzwams. Super tender. Fuel the menkul.
flamey had to know I'm not alone! I try to be careful but I keep pressing preview or post buttons too soon!
cavey how are you feeling now? Did HWHNN get you a supply of chocolate?

Northey · 29/04/2012 12:35

Don't cry, sweetie. The pain bit I had was a bulky sort of pain, it was not in any way palpitating or fluttery. It came and went, but was mostly there, and when it was there it was continuous. Don't laugh, but it was the sort of pain that feels like it might go away if you do an enormous fart.

Two things to remember:

1)if it IS an ectopic pregnancy, it will be so early that it will be too small to rupture the tube, so you are quite safe to go on holiday.

  1. conception happens in the tube anyway, before the spermy/eggy thing moves along to the womb to implant. If you are feeling something weird, could it be related to that perfectly normal process?

Feb was my failing at pregnancy at 30 (31 in march). April was my failure to have a baby in 2012. May will be the 3year "official" mark.

Hence my current dislike of the monthly threads. Shall try and channel your much healthier outlook North

faife, I'm always on phone or iPad- my excuse for my dubious spelling etc - I'm normally quite careful!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 10:24

Apologies for double postings, I'm having trouble with fat fingers and iPhone!

Northey · 29/04/2012 10:23

Ooh, after Rulvakia maybe we should have PantWatch.

I think I feel weirdly protective of those threads, actually. Obviously they are depressing, and I never click in them, but the early days of ttc optimism there is quite touching. Most long timers slope off from that sort of world after a while, put off by the stream of bfps.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 10:23

cavey I was the same. Said since I was 18 I wanted my first baybee before I was 30. Cried when I realised that wouldn't happen. Then again when I realised not even when I was 30 (I'm 31 in August). Not rational or practical but you have your heart set on something it's tough when you see it's not going to happen :(

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/04/2012 10:21

cavey I was the same. Said since I was 18 I wanted my first baybee before I was 30. Cried when I realised that wouldn't happen. Then again when I realised not even when I was 30 (I'm 31 in August). It's not rat

sinkingflameofhilarity · 29/04/2012 10:21

Xpost. Sympathies cave. I have bouts of "depression". Which is largely just me wallowing but feels dreadful at the time.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 29/04/2012 10:18

Grin at notheys pant snot updates. It's like springwatch, but with less Kate humble and more goo.

In a change of topic, and please don't get offended by this (not sure it is offensive, but about to gently fred bash, and wouldn't take kindly to someone doing it to the BESH...). Anyone else find the threads for nov, dec, jan, Easter, summer baybees a touch depressing? As each month/season passes... Or is that mid cycle depression?
