Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

Is it just temps and pant snot that indicate ovulation at the weekend? Is there any chance they could be related to something else

I would be beating my head agains the wall cavey. What a horrid confusing muddle.

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 16:30

Well I've just finished speaking to the Clinic and am feeling a little bemused.

The nurse said I can't have ovulated at the weekend because the blood test said I definitely did pre Day 30!

She's told me to take another pregnancy test tomorrow and if it is negative to start taking the Clomid straight away. Apparently they don't like to let you go over 42 days on a Clomid cycle if you have ovulated, and it is possible to take the pills without having a period.

Of course the Sod's Law of it all is that HWHNN has to go abroad for a few days in 2 weeks time, which would coincide perfectly with me ovulating, if the Clomid does it's job.

Thoroughly confused and fed up!

Northey · 30/04/2012 16:12

Oh GOD. I wish I understoooooooood.

How are you otherwise, dottie?

FriendofDorothy · 30/04/2012 15:57

I did have a scan on CD4 when I saw the consultant for that time. I didn't start my Clomid until CD4 because that was the day they happened to fit me in for an appointment.

Northey · 30/04/2012 15:55

I know I am meant to have one in cd10, dor, so that does sound right. But I don't know if I was meant to keep having them till a follicle popped or something. What were they looking at with yours? And did they not mention doing a baseline scan beforehand?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 15:33

Hope you get your answers norf.
cavey have you got to talk to the clinic yet?

FriendofDorothy · 30/04/2012 15:14

I think I had one tracking scan on about CD10. Does that sound about right?

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 14:34

I don't get any scans Norf, my NHS group don't "do" follicle tracking on Clomid. We're just left to our own devices!
If I had had follicle tracking we might not have screwed up this cycle Angry

I've left a message on the clinic answer phone about an hour ago. If they don't call back by 3pm I'll call them again .

Northey · 30/04/2012 14:25

Am torn between making cherry cake, job hunting and phoning the clinic to arrange tracking scans.

Actually, I'll repeat my question here, as my other thread is being ignored - can I have a baseline scan once I've popped the first pill? Or does it need to have been totally beforehand?

Also, how many tracking scans did people on here have??

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 14:05

I'm somewhere between bored and insane. Managed to get out in the sunshine to do a couple of errands so I'm pleased about that. Feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Northey · 30/04/2012 14:00

Rotten womble soreness. Ouch.

My mood often lightens a bit when droid gets underway, euro. I think it's the accepting of it, and the end of the stress of wondering and hoping. Hoping is very exhausting.

eurochick · 30/04/2012 10:31

Morning BESHies. Droid arrived this morning. I feel much better now than I did on Friday and Saturday when I was just in a murderous mood. I think the hormone crash is over.

cavey that is all terribly confusing. I hope the clinic can help you figure out what is going on.

faith when are you testing?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 09:24

I think you need their advice/reassurance cavey. Sometimes charts are just weird, I know I've had a couple when I've been Hmm. Not an exact science but really not helpful when you're in a position like yours where timing is everything :(

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 09:21

Yeah, I was going to wait till Weds, which is 2 weeks after my blood test, but I'll just stew in the meantime so may as well call them at lunchtime - when I can't be overheard by nosey colleagues [sigh]

Northey · 30/04/2012 09:19

Bollocks. Don't know then :( Stupid, stupid ttc. The whole thing is just emotionally exhausting. Will you call the clinic?

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 09:16

It's been spot on for all my other cycles, so no reason to doubt it now.

Northey · 30/04/2012 09:03

Have you found FF reliable with PCOS? It could be the chart that is wrong.

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 08:25

We had sechs yesterday, but if I ov'd on Friday surely that's too late.

Northey · 30/04/2012 08:21

There must be personal variations in how long the surge lasts, but yes, 11 days does seem a bit much.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/04/2012 08:14

I think testing Wednesday norf, droid is officially due tomorrow and I just can't bring myself to test til I am late, properly late. I have no tests in the house, I will one loads tomorrow if droid does not show up

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 08:09

It's possible, but 11days before? I thought the surge only lasted a few days.

Northey · 30/04/2012 08:04

cave, do you think the test on day 30 caught your progesterone surge on the way up, rather than the way down?

Northey · 30/04/2012 08:02

Chart looks good, faith. Testing tomorrow?

CaveMum · 30/04/2012 08:01

Faith the chart still looks promising Grin

Norf sorry that Droid has now put in a full appearance Sad Try not to see the Clomid as a bad thing. As HWHNN very wisely said to me once (don't tell him I said that!) if you were diabetic you wouldn't think of insulin medication as a bad thing, it's there to help you and the same applies to Clomid.

In my world, Fertility Friend has backed up my assumption that I ov'd over the weekend. Chart here. So god only knows why the Day 30 blood test said I had ovulated Hmm
That's another cycle down the toilet because of crappy sechs timing Angry
