Jingle jingle....anybody joining me? I figure this HAS to be my month if I'm starting the thread :o

OP posts:
SpringFlowers · 02/04/2012 20:15

Wiggy - I didn't have any symptoms at all when I was actually pregnant last time. I was really surprised when AF didn't arrive. I used a CB digi test, I love the little thing saying 1-2 weeks. I still have it somewhere, the battery ran out of course so it doesn't say much now Blush.

I had a nightmare with the tests with the lines on my previous pregnancy, my lines were so faint that I spent ages trying to decide if there was a line or not. Too much stress!

This might be TMI so brace yourselves or look away...I always have a few days of nasty brown spotting before by period actually starts but I have never had that when I've been pregnant. I think that it might be an age thing. I'll probably only test if I don't get that by the day my period is due.

Wiggy29 · 02/04/2012 19:53

I wasn't planning on testing as just don't 'feel' pregnant.we dtd a lot but about 5 days of my fertile period (or at least when I think it is) we didn't as had really late ngts/early mornings due to work related stuff. That said,I'm now debating taking one on Friday just so I can relax&know rather than wondering if every stomach twinge is period cramp. I'm dreading a period as mine were horrendous before I was on the pill. How early will people test&will you use a cheap&cheery test or one that tells you how many weeks?

SpringFlowers · 02/04/2012 19:40

Someone was saying that they're not very patient when it comes to ttc - I'm not either. DD3 is 17 months and we conceived the first month of trying. We weren't very technical - just DTD when I had EWCM. Unfortunately I miscarried early but conceived again two months later.

I'm not sure how optimistic I feel about this month, we did all the right things but I can't believe I will conceive that quickly again. I find the waiting so dull...

So, who is testing next week? Any symptoms to be spotted?

coveredinflour · 02/04/2012 19:32

Hello everyone,
Can I join you? Although I would rather not have a xmas baby i'm not going to stop ttc and would just be over the moon to be pg so am secretly hoping it will happen this month!!

My stats are:

Have been rather irregular recently and the last 2 cycles both been 35 days (my average is normally 29) so who knows what's going on but keeping everything crossed that father christmas will have a baby for me.

Good luck everyone!!

LimeLeafLizard · 02/04/2012 16:51

Pinkie29 · 02/04/2012 12:22

Good luck to all testing next week, I'm not due to Ov for another 2 weeks will be due my af around 26th or 30th depending on how long the cycle is! Got a docs appointment tomorrow to discusses possible pcos x

EmpireBiscuit · 02/04/2012 11:52

Hello!

I am going to keep my legs firmly crossed and saddle up a reindeer - not too hopeful though. We just decided to start TTC last week and I was already half way through my fertile time (so says my I-phone app - Obvs very scientific).

Sooo...

EmpireBiscuit TTC #1, cycle 1, AF due 11 April or thereabouts.

Rudawakening · 02/04/2012 11:42

Hi all

Sorry I haven't been around have been around I have been mad busy at work recently, am officially just in the 2ww now but don't think we have dtd enough as DH has been quite ill so not getting my hopes up this month.

Did work out though that my Edd if I was pg this month would be 23rd December.

Eleanora · 02/04/2012 10:08

Not yet Pinkie29 but looks like lots of us will be testing next week.

Welcome Flightty, SpringFlower and knickyknocks

Olivetti - I always wanted a twin!

Not much to report here but do have sore nipples and slight sick feeling (although I could well be imagining it). We shall see...

Pinkie29 · 02/04/2012 08:55

Anyone preggers yet? Grin

roxy31 · 02/04/2012 04:54

Also temps still look good - although as we all know this may be a good sign, but also could be a coincidence! :)

roxy31 · 02/04/2012 04:46

Hello to all the new girls!!

Pipbin I know exactly how you feel. I think the frustrating thing with ttc#1 is that the longer it takes the more you worry about it all. I know I'm feeling like that. I've had 4 friends have babies in the last couple of months and it's tough for me.

At least I have a short cycle (23 - 25) which makes it a bit easier - although I realise now I am soooo impatient.

So wide awake here at 4am - hoping its a good sign Hmm and not because I had a snooze in the sun yesterday!!

Everything crossed this month for us!

LimeLeafLizard · 01/04/2012 22:28

Welcome Flightty, Spring and and knicky, nice to have your company on board.

Did you have a good holiday, Olivetti? Hope the sickness didn't spoil it, and indeed that it is a good sign.

Hey Pipbin good to hear from you now your AF has left. I am still in the enthusiastic phase of TTC this time round, but I know from past experience just how it feels to have been trying for so many cycles you just are fed up of it all. Hope you get some energy back before shag week!

Olivetti · 01/04/2012 21:10

Im on cycle 1, btw. Am practically twins with Eleanora!

Olivetti · 01/04/2012 21:09

Sorry for joining and then going silent, I've been away on hols. AF due 10th April or thereabouts, so will wait until then to test. Been feeling sick all week, with cramps etc. With DD1 I sensed symptoms almost from the day after conception (honest!) so hoping it's the same this time around...

knickyknocks · 01/04/2012 15:59

Room for one more?

Hello ladies, I've just turned 40 and TTC#2. Been trying for about a year, had tests done at docs and there's no reason so far why things haven't happened. All very frustrating. I agree pipbin everything takes so blinking long....waiting weeks before trying again. It's crap. Anyway, AF due fri 13th April (very apt...) and really feel we've given it our best shot this month (without giving TMI we've DTD far more than usual).

Anyway, good luck ladies and thanks for letting me on board. Here's to our BFPs!!

Pipbin · 01/04/2012 15:21

Fed up with it all this month. Why does it take so long. AF has just cleared of but I've got 2 weeks until shag week then two weeks after that until I know if it's all been for nothing.

Its the 1st of April and AF not due until 1st of May, that is forever away.

SpringFlowers · 01/04/2012 09:33

Hello Smile, I've been directed here by LimeLeafLizard having had a bit of trouble finding a bus! Is is ok if I join you all? We're ttc #4, we have 3 dd's who are 13, 11 and 17 months. I'm going to have a read through to try and work out who everyone is!

Flightty · 01/04/2012 06:54

Just wandering off to look for a decent due date calculator, actually, as the MN one doesn't seem to account for my stranger than strange LP.

I will be back...probably...

Flightty · 01/04/2012 06:52

Hello all Smile

Don't suppose I can join in, I mean, sit right in a corner near the door?

Please don't add me to the list as that's Too Much Pressure iykwim and I am liable to freak out well before anyone's had the chance to copy and paste me more than twice.

So I'll just, erm, watch, if that's alright Blush

Good luck everyone Thanks

(2/3 dpo btw...not entirely sure!)

LimeLeafLizard · 31/03/2012 23:06

Yes that third level of temps does sound very promising, Roxy! Fingers crossed for you.

My temps are weirdly low this month - they were about .2 F of a degree below my usual pre-OV temps, so the coverline was lower than usual. Now they are strangely lower than my usual post OV temps - although there is a clear jump from the pre OV lows.

Treats · 31/03/2012 22:58

Ooh - a third level of temps sounds exciting - fingers crossed!

roxy31 · 31/03/2012 20:33

Well ladies I am going crazy this tww, doing the usual obsessing & checking! Also fingers crossed as i may have a third level of temps on my chart? Confused

For fun i checked too - my edd would be 14dec, that would be great timing before xmas. Really hope it's our month.

I'll be testing next week if I can hold out :)
