Hello all, Dilly it is sounding really good for you! I think it is sensible to not get too excited - I do that sort of thing to protect myself emotionally, just in case.

Cejay good to hear from you, sorry about the bfn but like you I still cling to hope until AF actually arrives!

Welcome Duke. Yes, I think you deserve a special cushion for having a 25 Dec due date - and for the second time, too! So the fertility reindeer worked for you two years ago!

Well my AF is due tomorrow and unlike Flightty I have had a slight temp dip. Still above the coverline but not a good sign and I am pretty sure AF will arrive tomorrow. She is almost always bang on time.

SpringFlowers · 09/04/2012 10:24

Hi Dilly, I'm still 4 days from af so I think it's just too early to say the lack of spotting is a good sign. I am very good at creating symptoms by simply thinking of them so symptom spotting is hopeless here - I've been nauseas and dizzy this morning. When I'm actually pregnant I don't have any sickness or nausea until at least six weeks. Is the cramping actually a crampy feeling? It might be just your body adjusting to implantation. It is early days but you are pregnant.

Flightty · 09/04/2012 10:05

Dilly, with Ds2 I went and bought a test the morning AF was due JUST to prove it would be neg, as I was cramping SO much! It was positive. So it doesn't mean you're not going to stay pregnant. Try not to worry x

Flightty · 09/04/2012 10:03

Spring that sounds like a very good sign. I really hope it holds off and you get your bfp.

I'm CD 25, 10dpo and having put about 10 more cycles (just start dates) from last year's diary into FF this morning, it's still got me as averaging 25 days. So technically I'm due on tomorrow. Ovulated around CD14 this month so that gives me a 10 day LP which I'm not terribly happy with. Im not sure if it's long enough.

However last month I had a drop at 9dpo then 10dpo and came on on 11 DPO. (CD 24). This time I had a slight rise on 9dpo and a bigger rise today and no sign of that drop, just yet...could still be anything up till Friday really before I'm properly late.

Not sure whether to buy an early test today or just wait it out. DP is on a job in London and stuck there for a few more days, and I wanted him to be there really...I knew it was unlikely I'd get a BFP on the cheapy tests yesterday/Saturday. Trying to calm myself down I suppose!

Hope everyone has a good day. I have heartburn (v rare for me) and feel quite sicky and horrid (less unusual). Ho hum...if this is just PMS it's very unfair!

Dillydollydaydream · 09/04/2012 09:52

Thanks ladies.
Very early days still.
The cramping is concerning me slightly.
Springflowers. I usually have pink/brown spotting 2 days before AF arrives properly too but I didn't this month so hopefully that's a good sign for you?
It's hard not to symptom spot isn't it. Every little twinge I was thinking AF was coming. 2ww is awful :(

SpringFlowers · 09/04/2012 09:32

Congratulations Dilly, sounds just like you're having a baby to me! A line is a line, if you weren't pregnant you wouldn't get one.

Flightty - last time when I was pregnant I didn't have any symptoms either. The main thing for me is that I usually have brown yucky spotting for a few days before my period. Every time I go to the loo I am hoping not to see any. So far, I have a pristine gusset but it's way too early to read anything into it. Where are you in your month (I've forgotten and it's tricky to look back while posting)? I seem to think we're at the same sort of stage. I have an overwhelming desire to test but a) it's just too early and b) I'm at my in-laws in Dublin and it would be difficult to do.

Flightty · 09/04/2012 09:27

Ooh I crossed posts with you Dilly! Sorry DP rang up and left the tab open.

How wonderful...I'd not worry if it's a bit light. People implant at different times and hcg doubles every couple of days apparently so it should be a bit darker tomorrow or the next day.

The important thing is it's a BFP [busmile]

Flightty · 09/04/2012 09:25

Never mind Cejay, I think there's a few of us who have had bfns already...what did you use? I'm not sure what sensitivity is good for what day but mine were 25miu and as white as you can get...not even an evap to stare at!

Spring, I think when I was pg with ds1 I didn't have any symptoms...not my usual PMS or anything. So I never expected to be pregnant. You never know Smile

Dillydollydaydream · 09/04/2012 09:19

1 day late today. Did a first response this morning which was positive but was only a light line. Bit concerned it should be quite dark by now so not sure what to think?!

Still have cramps on/off so really not sure!

Hope everyone else is ok, any news? :)

SpringFlowers · 09/04/2012 08:53

Hi Everyone Smile, we're away at the moment so I haven't been able to post much. Congratulations to those with good news and to everyone else good luck whether you are about to test or are moving onto a January baby.

Nothing to report here really, cd24. Last month my cycle was 25 days but usually it's 28. I'm probably due to test around Saturday. It seems like an age away! I've had lots of dull lower abdominal aches - I don't really know what that's been about and if I think about it really hard my right boob might be tender Grin.

Good luck to anyone testing today!

Cejay8 · 09/04/2012 07:48

Hello everyone,

So much for being strong and not testing early - I crumbled a couple of days ago and got a BFNSad. AF is due tomorrow but I seem to have had light cramps for weeks now! I'm still clinging to some small hope until she arrives. Hope to hear of some BFPS over the next couple of days girls Smile

Flightty · 09/04/2012 06:43

Oh that's lovely Duke [busmile] Welcome to the sleigh. I think you get to sit on the special cushion for being a 25th due date...does she girls?

Right well a long and sleepless night that was, during which I convinced myself I'm totally up the spout, I mean needing a wee at 1am - honestly? and my booooobs Oh my good lord. A thousand needles are pricking them. [busad]

Still though, despite being due on tomoz (which I dispute, yes FF I'm looking at you) there has been a big old temp jump this morning instead of the expected drop.

As they say though, you're not properly diffed till the auntie gets her bag stuck on the carousel at Heathrow.

Happy rainy Easter Monday [busmile]

duke748 · 08/04/2012 22:58

Hi all!

Can I join in? Due to test on Friday 13th (!). I'd love a BFP as Fertility Friend puts my due date as 25th December if I concieve this month. DS was due 25/12/10 and came new year's day and DP and I have birthdays in Dec and Jan. it's a really special time of year to have a baby!

Fingers crossed for us all.

Wiggy29 · 08/04/2012 22:54

Come on you Crimbo babies! I have my fingers crossed for you guys, it would be nice to here a few more before I hop on board the next thread.

TREATS- I agree with your DH, glad I did a test (well, two actually) as with my crazy nipples and the disappearance of my cramps, I would have convinced myself I was pregnant and been disheartened when the inevitable arrived.

Night night and sending out good vibes to all of you due this week.xxx

Flightty · 08/04/2012 20:31

Thankyou Dilly Smile and Treats...so many of us due on this week. I'll keep hoping one of us at least gets a BFP this time [busmile] Night all xx

Dillydollydaydream · 08/04/2012 20:23

Hope your cramps don't amount to anything Flightty.
I was wearing a pad one or two days ago as I thought AF was imminent with the cramps I had.
Fingers crossed :)

Treats · 08/04/2012 20:20

Hi ladies

olivetti - I forgot to congratulate you on your BFP! Thanks for getting the ball rolling and i hope some of us can join you.

Fingers crossed for dilydollydaydream - great name! And hang in there Flightty [bugrin]

Sorry for those of you with BFNs. I broke my golden rule last month and tested early - BFN obv - and then AF came along a few days later. DH was really sweet and said that at least the BFN had "broken my fall" - i.e. once AF had arrived I'd already come to terms with the fact that it wasn't my month, so it wasn't so bad. I really hope that some of you have just tested too early and that AF won't arrive for you, though.

CD19 here and no ov yet. I'd really hoped I'd got back to my old 28 day cycle with ov on day 14, but obviously not this month. I'm already hatching a plan to go and see my GP and start a conversation about Clomid when if AF arrives this month. Not in the mood to hang about or put off seeking help.

LBOT - that's what it is! Your body's just getting ready and has decided that next month is the right time......

Flightty · 08/04/2012 19:01

With you on the chocolate, Lime. Those Lindt bunny rabbits didn't stand a chance. and the dcs' mini eggs neither ahem.

Serious cramping here and fairly sure AF is going to turn up tomorrow. Ho hum.

Dilly, I'm holding out for another BFP from you soon as, girly [busmile] I'll bet you it's a good'un.

Dillydollydaydream · 08/04/2012 18:00

Well cramps not turned into anything. Keep checking the test to make sure there was a line and I wasn't imagining it!
Keep thinking maybe it's just a dodgy test. Will know one way or another soon enough though I guess.
Good luck everyone else still waiting.

LimeLeafLizard · 08/04/2012 17:17

Thanks for the Brew Flightty. I think you're right about the weather - it has been drizzle - cloud alternating all day here. Now I have eaten too much roast dinner and chocolate to compensate.

Hey dddd, nice to see you, we need some BFP news round here! I agree that waiting until tomorrow to do the other test seems sensible... but sounds positive anyway! 16 Dec would be a nice early Christmas present too.

Sorry to hear about your bfn Wiggy. Do hang around for a bit to cheer us on, although I've a feeling I'll be in the same situation soon.

Dillydollydaydream · 08/04/2012 12:43

In not sure whether to let myself get excited, Ive got crampy feelings :(
I stopped taking the pill in July last year so has been a while now.

Wiggy29 · 08/04/2012 12:38

Ohhh how exciting!pretty sure faint line is a positive,I wouldn't be able to resist other test if I were u.how many months have you been ttc?x

Dillydollydaydream · 08/04/2012 11:46

Hi. Is it too late for me to sneak in!?

I'm on cd 28 today, I did an Internet cheapy test this morning. I'm pretty sure there is a faint line. It's nowhere near as dark as the control line though. It did come up within the time limit but wouldn't the line be nice and clear this late on? Not sure whether to get my hopes up or not?

I do have a FRER test in the bathroom cabinet calling me but trying to resist til tomorrow now!

I have looked at possible due date - 16th Dec [bublush]

Flightty · 08/04/2012 10:53

glad you've had a good time Wiggy [busmile]

Lime, sorry you feel a bit down. I'll join you if I may Brew

maybe it's the weather? Raining solidly here.

Wiggy29 · 08/04/2012 10:38

Boobs anything but perky after breastfeeding ds!

Break is lovely!we're heading back today as weather is pants&same forecast for tomorrow.enjoyed doing some egg hunting with ds this morning though.
