Continuation of the last thread.

There's cake for scoffing, backs for patting, and screeching death metal for all your metalling moments. All welcome so come on in and get settled into the plush sofas!

Dictionary:

So settle into the mosh pit, we have special VIP area's for those on the 2WW, the new bumps metalling with segregated areas for the first/second/third trimesters and the club class cocktail bar for those who have just got AF and can get-pissed let loose for the first two weeks!

The standard 'form' of the thread is the first one on in the morning brings the brekkie! Wink

And this will be a very special thread, it is the one where our first 'graduate' gives us our first bambino Go on IQ give us a twirl if-you can be arsed in your full term state

champers sorry you are here, I didn't wait after my last early mc and was pg with ds3 within 8 weeks. They found it difficult dating the pg though as I think my body was a bit all over the place. By the later scan he was two weeks a head of what we thought

leedy · 23/03/2012 13:59

Ooh, baby IQ on the way! Exciting!

Also still laughing at the cat and the pork. (which reminds me: a friend of mine who shall remain nameless once spent a summer as a student being Very Broke Indeed in London. On the night in question, she and her boyfriend were contemplating yet another dinner of beans on toast, when their cat came in with ... an entire leg of lamb. I think you can guess the rest...)

I think I am going to crack and test today, I feel very hormonal but dunno is it PMS or pregnancy or just weirdness. Also doing ye olde traditional "advance metalling" ie worrying that IF this is the month THEN what will I have to worry about next. Oh, and panicking about DP's job because he might have to travel to the US in the next month or so and I suspect if I get upduffed I will be a giant blouse and not want him to leave the country (or at least the continent) until I get past the date I m/c last time.

IQ hope all is well...exciting stuff!!! Grin

I am SO glad it's friday and soon soon this work deadline will be done (next weds) and is hopefully my last one before I go on mat leave so I can start to wind down a bit after that which will be nice...right...must get back to it! Sorry for not managing a full name-check...

Tiago · 23/03/2012 09:17

And my cat scavenges from dustbins.

Tiago · 23/03/2012 09:15

I believe, from the retching this morning, that m/s has finally arrived for me. On the one hand YAY as it makes me think thus pregnancy will work our. On the other hand - ugh!

Also - iq hope all is going swimmingly. :) we look forward to your news.

Moominsarescary · 23/03/2012 08:33

Lol at the pork joint, my sisters cat just brings back live birds

TitsalinaBumSquash · 23/03/2012 08:02

Good Morning ladies and hopefully soon baby! Keep going IQ, soon you can hold your baby in your arms and everything will be worth it! :)

Welcome to the new members, sorry you have to be here but we shall look after you. :)

I slept from 8pm until 6am again, poor DP only really gets to see me snoring atm.

I woke up to the delightful sight of my cat dragging a joint of pork through the cat flap, it must belong to a neighbour, I am going to have to go door knocking find out which one and reimburse them. Damn moggie!

I am having a duvet day today, I know it's lovely and sunny but I am still so tired! This exhaustion is getting the better of me, it's never been this bad before.

Oh and whilst I am here ...

Moominsarescary · 23/03/2012 07:53

chellibelle sorry for your loss and that you are feeling down, we all have good days and bad days. If you have any questions I'm sure there will be someone here who can try to answer them for you

And nothing is tmi here x

Poppyjen · 23/03/2012 07:52

Yay IQ how exciting, Grin wishing you all the best!

JaffaSnaffle · 23/03/2012 07:46

Hurray! Hurray! Baby IQ is on her way!

IQ, I hope everything goes smoothly and quickly for you. A lovely baby being born on a lovely spring day. I am sorry I don't know about hidden threads but so happy for you. Willing you on...

News in our house is slightly better. No drip needed. But still lots of sickness and diahorrea. Please let it end. Poor little love.

Midgetm · 23/03/2012 07:14

chellibelle sorry you are feeling blue. Pregnancy loss has a habit of creeping up on you when you don't expect it.

IQ yay how exciting (for me anyway, maybe less so for the lady in actual labour). So close now I have contraction envy. I am an actual freak.

Moominsarescary · 23/03/2012 06:14

I'm not sure about where to post a thread but good luck to you! Not long now till you get to meet your baby xx

InsomniaQueen · 23/03/2012 03:39

Had to cut that short cos I needed to record a contraction in my special counter......now that this looks serious and not wanting to take over the thread where can I post a 'labour' thread that will be obscure and not looked for by that many other people - any suggestions????

InsomniaQueen · 23/03/2012 03:22

Me again - looks like it's a go here.......been on the sofa since 11pm as being sat up allows me to rest/cat nap between pains - lying on my side actually makes it SO much worse, because my tummy goes so hard the edges actually hurt to be touched so lying on my side is like being punched in a huge bruise.

I've done everything advised by the MW (hot water bottle, baths, paracetamol) and it's still going so I believe it is actually here. I've told DH to stay in bed as im managing right now but will definitely need him when these get closer together.

The only thing getting me through each pain is repeating this little prayer "dear god give me the strength to get through this labour" - so far so good!!!

InsomniaQueen · 22/03/2012 21:39

Just getting caught up - the lergy has been less bad today so managed to actually get showered and leave the house!! Can't do a full catch up as I need to try to get some rest and I can feel my paracetamol kicking in.

pebs I just don't know what to say really - im so sorry it's all come to this and it wasnt the news you were hoping for. Sending you love and hugs from here for tomorrow - hope you are able to spend some time just looking after yourself and being with DH over the coming weeks.

Congratulations to the BPFs - it is a long and often rocky road but hopefully this will be the lucky one for you.

As for me - well this might actually be it - I won't say it is cos knowing my luck it will just turn out to be false alarm number 9. At the moment I'm contracting every 10 mins (ish) and it hurts like heck but their just not lasting long enough to bother taking the hour trip to hospital. We shall have to see I suppose......if it carries on I shall start a metallers live labour thread so you can all come keep me company!!!

chelliebellie · 22/03/2012 21:36

Hi There, may I join you?
I miscarried just before Xmas, but I am lucky enough to already have a gorgeous lil boy.
I've been fine, but all of a sudden this month I feel very very low.
We're ttc but after reading this thread there is plenty that I don't know!
So I'm hoping you can tell me what I need to do (well not exactly- I think I've got that bit sussed) but when and how I know when, would be a great help.
I have a pretty regular 28ish day cycle, but I always spot for 4/5 days about a week after my period finishes.
I'm so sorry if this is tmi and I know that I'm probably rambling!!

Midgetm · 22/03/2012 21:24

damn that stick up the bum

Moominsarescary · 22/03/2012 21:10

pebs I'm so sorry, I had a ga after my first mc and it was fine. Hope everything goes ok and your as well as can be expected. Will be thinking about you x

Jaffa hope your dd picks up soon

stela good luck tomorrow, stand your ground

Congrats to the bfps, it's great to see so many

Af has got me although I'm not realy surprised as didn't dtd much due to the stick up bum feeling during ovulation!

Tiago · 22/03/2012 19:45

pebs I'm glad that the consultant has agreed to the tests. I hope all goes well with your erpc - and that you are able to have time I rest and recoup afterwards. So sorry there was no surprise good news for you.
