Shit, was hoping it was just a false alarm. So sorry. Morphine a very, very good idea. Don't let the fob you off with lesser rubbish.

Please do go on if you need to, don't feel like you have to shut up, you aren't whingeing. Everyone on this thread knows how unutterably bloody crap it is.

GrandPoohBah · 27/03/2012 17:25

mrspear (which I read as mr spear, for some reason - I'm assuming you're actually mrs pear?!), do you know when you ovulated? My cycles were getting progressively longer with each MC, ending up at 36 days most recently - if I hadn't known that I didn't ovulate till CD25, I would definitely have been testing too early. You may just have skew-wiff cycles for a while.

GrandPoohBah · 27/03/2012 17:22

Um, I know I can only speak for myself, but I think that this thread is here for the whinging about the utter bastard unfairness of the whole thing. It's angry making and upsetting, and if having a place to vent helps you then I'm more than happy to hear it and give unmumsnetty hugs, tea, plenty of wine, Brie and pâté, and complete agreement that it's fucking miserable and none of us deserve this.

mrsnesbit · 27/03/2012 17:15

mild cramping at the moment.

When it really gets going i usually take myself off to A&E only because i need gas & air and morphine. My mcs are very very painful, i cant cope with it at home. Usually all over and done with in one night.

Im comforted by the Brew and the foot stool and the vip area, so thankyou all.

Just one question:
WHY
WHY
WHY
???????

I will not go on, i will not whinge, i may come for a hug, but wont trample on other folks joy and happy news. I will shut up.

Just, thanks every one of you that has replied and been so very kind xxx

WhyAlwaysBoris · 27/03/2012 17:11

Just a quickie, am supposed to be working,

Welcome Mrspear. Do you have another test you can take tomorrow? maybe you ov late and it might be good news? (having said that I've just finished my second AF since my MC and they have both been a little odd so i think the MC has mucked up my cycle a lot and the waiting is awful).

Mrs N am with you in spirit. I hope the spotting turns out to be just that and not another MC. Good grief some times life is so unexplicably unfair. I'm so sorry.

GrandPoohBah · 27/03/2012 17:09

Ok all, I'm having a bit of a mental today. I've come down with a really bad cold (not quite flu but doesn't feel too far off). When I woke up my temperature was 101F. Dr Google says this is Bad for the 4+3 embryo, and I had those horrible feverish dreams all about miscarrying last night.

In addition we went to the RMC today (after I got rereferred following my rubbish appointment at a different hospital), and the consultant was lovely and very reassuring BUT we had a scan and there was nothing to see. They weren't worried but I am now.

Aargh. I want to fast forward the next 8 months please.

GrandPoohBah · 27/03/2012 17:02

Oh mrsn, I hope it's not what you expect Sad

Ah shite, mrsn, I'm sorry - that's really worrying even if it isn't anything. What Martha said, basically, and sending extra finger-crossing from over here.

wrigle · 27/03/2012 15:46

I'm only checking in on here until a time when I feel I can participate properly, but can I say Mrsnesbit, big big hug and waiting patiently for news and hoping for the good kind for you, bu I respect that you know your body and hope you're getting some of what you need right now.

mrspear · 27/03/2012 15:13

Hi can i but in please. Firstly, i have skimmed the last page and i so hope that it is not mc no 7 mrsnesbits.

So i had a mc in November/December last year. Had to have two clear cycles by doctors orders and have been trying since. Now i am a day late. Test is negative. My head is in a spin.

manda glad my pampering treats have cured-your SPD sorted you out good and proper. No advice on the hair am afraid, coz if i say go for it and it looks crap then you will totally bollock me...

secretly-thinks manda should go for it and just get the hairdo you can always threaten to sue the hairdresser if you dont get onto the next series of BNTM as a result Hmm

ok stay calm. it might be a MC but then again it might not. i bled at 10 weeks with DS. He was fine.

You might be fine, you might not be. just hang in there and try not to panic. if it gets heavier and you have cramps then get to A&E. If it is light spotting then just try and relax.

OP posts:
mrsnesbit · 27/03/2012 14:13

erm, bleeding has started in the last hour.
You know how it does, just little flecks when you wipe, now its proper blood.

oh well, thats that then, mc number 7.

MandaHugNKiss · 27/03/2012 13:55

Lobster? I like lobster!

marff You have worked miracles! My poorly pelvis is feeling much better today and it was totally your pampering that did it! that and trying to stay parked on the sofa/sleeping with the pillow between my legs

mrsN I think we're a leeeetle bit fluffy on occasion - that's it, really, isn't it? Knowing that there is a balance to strike between poo-pooing fears as nonsense and 'everything will be fiiiine!' (when we know some times it isn't...) and acknowledging fears as absolutely normal but reigning you in when you get just a leeeetle too metal. I reckon we do quite a good job most of the time - as you say, we know. It makes a difference.

Well, for those of you who remember my hair disaster some five or six weeks ago... I didn't actually do anything about it. I just learned to live with it whilst having fresh paroxysms every time I washed it and realised: yes, it's shit And as I'm going to be Cindy Crawford minus the mole y'know, doing that thing Thursday I HAVE to do something if I'm not gonna feel awful about it So I'm booked in for tomorrow for more highlights and... WHAT IF I COME AWAY WORSE?!

marbles you utter delight!

Have you thought of any more job ideas? I have to confess to being secretly jealous of your 'world is my lobster' new venture. I know economically the country is screwed but there will be something fabulous for you out there.

Tiago · 27/03/2012 12:27

Tits I am due 10 days pre-Twilight. I have been trying to work out means by which I can ensure I cdon't miss it!

MarthasHarbour · 27/03/2012 12:08

oh god yeah tits that colleague was me when i got PG with DS. Yes thank the lord it was all ok but FFS i was so naive. I would let it go as long as possible next time. i too just feel sadness when someone announces early pgs Sad

if we could bottle up the mind-fecking that this thread has gone through we could fill a whole ward in 'One flew over the cuckoos nest!' Grin

Also, I find once you have lost a baby it really impacts the excitement of future pregnancies, when my friend came into college yesterday she was bubbling with excitement and telling everyone and anyone who would listen, even though she is just 4 weeks. I remember being like that, and all I felt was sadness and a real hope she doesn't go through what we have all gone though.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 27/03/2012 11:22

I do the whole 'today I am pregnant - that is all that matters right now' this may get old if I do it for another 33 weeks. :o

I also realised that baby will be due the same day Twilight p2 comes out, I have informed DP that under no circumstances will I be missing it. :o

I did 2 clients at college then ditched claiming tummy bug. I really cba with it today, I have so much housework sleeping to do.

mrsnesbit · 27/03/2012 11:15

Normally im quite a chilled old girl, not much gets me going.
But this is a subject that i struggle to think logically about. I get on my own nerves tbh.

Also, only DH knows this time, ive told no one, so i have no one to vent to, no one to talk to, and i know no-one in rl who has had serial mcs. SO i am relying on you girls for support, stern talkings to and sympathy...more importantly for folk to say "i know what you mean Mrsnesbit, ive been there".

leedy · 27/03/2012 11:09

The collective mindfvcking experience of this thread is phenomenal! I'm sure there's nothing that one of us hasn't managed to overthink/fret about.
