Oh Sunshine, I am sorry :(

I was doing ever so well with my plans today I did the post office, the shopping, the other million errands I had to do, was just finishing cleaning the car then glanced over and realised my car hasn't been taxed for the past week! To make matters worse, we have jut moved, I cannot find my log book and I hadn't changed the address. Now I have to get DP to drive me to the dvla office tomorrow which is an hour away to sort it. Bloody idiot is what I am.

My scan is at 10am tomorrow, not looking forward to it, would really just like it to be done and dusted.

Constipation has settled down a bit now thankfully.

JaffaSnaffle · 10/04/2012 13:12

Sunshine, that is very sad news. Sending you a big hug.

WhyAlwaysBoris · 10/04/2012 13:04

Oh Sunshine, i'm so sorry

sunshinesue · 10/04/2012 12:24

spoke too sodding soon. Start of AF type bleeding now, actually more bleeding than I had with either of my previous mc so i guess this is it Sad. At least I didn't have to wait until 9 weeks plus this time around.

sunshinesue · 10/04/2012 12:03

I didn't know porridge was good for constipation. I've been eating it anyway and was wondering why I can actually poo this pregnancy (unlike the other two), must be it.

pebs I think my spotting lasted about 18 ish days after ERPC and I think it stopped quite suddenly after me thinking it was never going to end. If it goes on much longer though it may be worth a trip to the DRs just in case.

Not much metalling from me today (no spotting so far!) but still checking and rechecking the calendar to see if I've made any mistakes and can somehow move the pregnancy on a few days (I can't). I'm trying to see the next couple of weeks as an extension of the 2ww and I may or may not be pregnant at the end of it, sometimes it works and sometimes I'm a mess!

JaffaSnaffle · 10/04/2012 11:40

Good luck to all those with scans coming up.

tits and other constipation suffers, I have had some success with eating a diet of lots of grapes and porridge. Porridgein particular seems to have got a few things going.

Still metalling like a loon though.

mrsnesbit · 10/04/2012 11:28

Hey tits, looks like its me & you going for a "reveal all" scan tomorrow. Im in at 9.40...you?
It cant come soon enough for me, this not knowing is just torture.
From lmp is 8+3 today, from conception its 6+3, im going with the 6 week date tbh.

Good luck tits, i will be thinking about you x

pebspop · 10/04/2012 11:20

just realised my erpc was on 23rd march not 16th so still spotting isn't actually as bad as i thought earlier!

WhyAlwaysBoris · 10/04/2012 10:59

Tits , sorry to hear about your mum, i hope the anniversary passed ok.

Marbles good luck if you test today. Tesco finest, eh? Would be hoping the box contains a velevet pouch to keep said test in or some such luxury. I really hope it is good news :)

Hi Ted, sorry you find yourself here. I've just entered the tww and i'm not sure i've got the self restraint to stay away from tests till I should. Fingers crossed this will be both our months.

Pebs Oh god yes the 'another year older thing' is a real killer. My birthday always seems to coincide with some bloody article in the newspapers saying you should ideally be about 15 to get pregnant easily as any age after that is ancient .

When we started talking about a baby two years ago we did so in a spirit of, well we'd better get started as we don't want to leave it another couple of years when it may get harder, and yep here we are...

I've just finished my SWI did CD 7,9,10,12,13,14,16,18, so not too shabby considering how knackered we both are (more so now, obviously!) so there is a chance this month....metalling already.

Pregnant ladies....is it wrong that i'm really enjoying reading about your lack of sleep, feeling dreadful etc. Sorry, i'm not completely awful, I do feel for you, but does it help you at all to know that you are giving an unduffed lady hope for the future..... :)

pebspop · 10/04/2012 09:42

BORIS i know how you feel with the 2012 baby thing. i have no chance of a 2012 baby now and as my birthday is in january i will also be another year older before i even have a chance at another baby.

to me it feels like another year has gone by. my husband thinks i am a bit daft for thinking like this but i can't help it!

hope you get the bfp this month so you can have your 2012 baby!

pebspop · 10/04/2012 09:32

hi girls,

looks like it's been a bit quite here over easter. hope that means you were all out having a nice time!

tits your post office and supermarket plan sounds good to me - take it easy but try not to wallow!

welcome ted you are lucky to get af so soon. i had erpc on 16th march and am still spotting, never mind waiting for next af. i probably won't be ready to start again until june...

i had a nice weekend. i was on my friends hen party on sat. i got chatting to a midwife who gave me good confidence that i can get a baby! i was feeling really down about the whole thing, like it will never happen for me. she said it sounds like my twin pg was just 'one of those things' and probably not related to my clotting problems. i am looking forward to seeing the consultant at the end of the month and hopefully she will say the same.

had a night away with dh on sunday as well, that was lovely! back to work though now boooo!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 10/04/2012 07:17

Welcome Ted Smile

I was awake at 4am again this morning, unexplainable cross with myself for my recent lifestyle of hoovering up calories and fat like nobodies business and not moving unless its essential, I have already put on quite a bit of weight and I'm only 8+3 Blush
I know I'm pregnant and have to take it easy but this is silly!
I feel the need for proactive-ness today. I shall be walking to the post office with the boys this morning when they wake up, and I'll be going to the supermarket too. They are my days goals (I'm starting small!)

It seems silly I know but I have really been wallowing in worry and self pity the past several weeks, this can't continue!

Also, if the scan shows all is ok tomorrow I shall buy myself some maternity trousers, my jeans don't fit, I hate jogging bottoms and I haven't dared buy any mat clothes yet but I just can't go on living in fear. Sad it's very uncomfortable!

Anyway rant over, I'm off to get dressed and have a cuppa (decaf) before the Boyd wake up. Smile

sunshinesue · 09/04/2012 21:16

Hi ted, sorry about your mc but you're in good company here. Good luck with shagging every other day (makes me feel tired just thinking about it)!

Good luck with the scans this week ladies. I'm going to get an early one but haven't done anything about it yet. I know if I wait until 7 weeks we've got a better chance of seeing a heartbeat (if all is well) but I'm impatient and may get one sooner and see what's there. I'm only 5 + 2 and have had a bit of brown spotting which makes waiting doubly hard.

tedmundo · 09/04/2012 18:42

Hi everyone, please can I join in with the cake and metalling. I am a bit of an expert at both (said in a Daddy Pig kind of way!!).

I had a mc back in March and got my first AF since the mc today. That means I am starting a lovely fresh new shiny cycle where NOTHING dare eff up. Please .. let the metallling begin.

Once this af is out of the way, will prob just do the deed every other day and see what happens. That means I will not POAS until the May Bank holiday at the earliest.

I may need you to pin my arms down for that one though girls. And of course that is assuming I go neatly back into my 28 day cycle as before the mc.

Anyway, hello to you all, I have not read the whole thread but can see there are lovely ladies here with munchy babies growing beautifully in those gorgeous tummies and that makes me glad glad glad.... xxx

kirrinIsland · 09/04/2012 18:09

Know what you mean about the walking dead leedy that's how I feel most of the time - I don't remember feeling quite so drained last time, I just can't be bothered to do anything.

Good luck with the scan tits I've got one on thursday and will also be gojng alone as DP will stay in with DD.
Sorry about your Mum - hope the day hasn't been too hard. My Mum died in September, so I know how it feels :(

Fingers crossed for you nomore tesco's finest sounds like a good plan :)

I am now over my positive feelings from Saturdays scan and am back to metalling - roll on Thursday! Will this nervousness ever end?

Moominsarescary · 09/04/2012 17:15

Hello everyone, Internet has been down for a while week!

Hope everyone is ok, will try to go back through the thread later to see what's been happening x

NoMoreMarbles · 09/04/2012 15:52

and a big pot of Brew>

Enjoy!

NoMoreMarbles · 09/04/2012 15:51

Hi allGrin

Hope everyone has had a good BH weekendSmile

Still no AF hereHmm and BFN on an IC on Saturday afternoon... DH has said if AF hasn't arrived by Tuesday (1week late) he's going to buy a "proper" test...as in one that doesn't cost £2.50 for 20Grin I'm thinking tescos finestGrin so we shall see... I have no symptoms... None... Nil...nadaHmmConfused it's now CD37... That's even 2 days longer than my longest ever cycle....

TitsalinaBumSquash · 09/04/2012 13:19

I've been like that leedy I am usually really cuddly at night and DP loves it, a couple of nights ago I found myself telling him when he asked "what can I do to make you comfortable?" to not touch me. Sad I am just so nauseous and hot and no position is comfortable!

It's the 2 year anniversary of my Mum's death today so I'm having some down time and a quiet dinner with family.

Really nervous about my scan Wed, I'll be going alone as well as DP will have to work.

leedy · 09/04/2012 11:57

For some bizarre reason the only place I can sleep properly at the moment is on the not very comfortable fold out sofa bed downstairs - possibly because it's sufficiently far away from DP and DS that I know nobody's going to wake me up snoring/thrashing/getting up to go to the loo/demanding to get out of his cot (er, that would just be DS btw). I think DP feels a bit put out that I am spurning his company at night but if I don't get enough sleep I am like the walking dead. Actually am quite like the walking dead anyway. When does this bit stop? Can't remember from last times/brain broken. Bleurgh. At least I am reassuringly symptom-y, I suppose.

sunshine I love The Wire but you are limited in finding user names from there if you exclude quotes with motherfker in them. I wonder if anyone has ever had OmarDevoneLittle Hmm

MissCoffeeNWine · 07/04/2012 22:00

Aww tits you're welcome to use my bath.

Good news Kirrin

Hope you feel better soon Jaffa and everyone else metalling I understand.

Have a lovely Easter everyone [busmile] I'm exhausted tonight, but have my Easter hol tomorrow so we'll be doing an egg hunt in the garden. Good luck to anyone else hunting eggs tomorrow

leedy · 07/04/2012 20:04
