I am due on 6 November. The baby will find itself being dressed in festival outfits (John Lewis did a lovely reindeer all in one last year) :)

Good luck tits- I have everything crossed for you.

JaffaSnaffle · 11/04/2012 07:16

tiago, wonderful news! Go go baby tiago!

midget, tits, good luck today, giving you both a big squeezy crushing hug to banish doomy voices and give extra courage.

Welcome to the thread bottlered.

I am so unsure about how this pregnancy is going. I do have some symptoms, and I am starting to show, (that's 4 pregnancies for you I think), but I just cannot believe that this one might stay.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 11/04/2012 07:02

Also welcome bottlered

And good luck on all other scans/ plans for the day. Smile

TitsalinaBumSquash · 11/04/2012 07:01

Can u just say Ergh and a bit more Ergh. I don't feel very brave today going in for my scan. I wish DP were here. Sad

Great news on your scan Tiago Smile

Ladies! Can I join you?
i had mc just over 2 weeks ago and TTC again asap.

MC was at 5-6 weeks, was natural loss and complete so it wasn't so bad. I had a wobbly couple of days and thought I'd just get over it. I'm finding my hormones are going mental and to be honest its really really annoying. The few days leading up to the mc I was certain that I was going to start bleeding (despite having no reason to), and the constant worry was exhausting, so when it happened It kind of made sense.

I got a BFP after my first month using a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor and I've started using it again. The hospital found my HCP levels were low, so I'm assuming that it shouldn't interfere with CBFM readings. I would have expected to see a high fertility reading by now but still showing low. Is anyone else familiar with using these monitors? I did read that the cycle after mc can be longer than normal - is that true?

Anyway, hoping for a BFP soon!

I notice a few of you already have!

kirrinIsland · 10/04/2012 20:47

sunshine so sorry :(

mrsN and tits good luck tomorrow.

Midgetm · 10/04/2012 19:36

Evening all, something awful happened and this thread dropped off my recents and I couldn't bloody find you. Cue deep metalling panic at the very thought!

So sorry Sunshine sending you a big hug.

Mumtum a thousand congratulations on your wedded bliss.

martha I so recognise the too blue to Ttc, along with the too scared, too grumpy, too pessimistic. It will fade but it fees so bad does t is? It's just so counter intelligent but happens to us all who have been round the conception block. Big licks for you x

mrsn knowledge is power, here's hoping its positive knowledge. Got everything crossed for you x

And here's hoping tesco finest pays off x

Tomorrow seems a popular day for a scan. My NT is tomorrow and I couldn't sleep at all last night. Voice in my head keeps telling me something will be very wrong. I can't just let myself relax that this may be different. Old habits die hard. It's that while being normal again, just don't feel I belong in normal antenatal care. At least the metalling has not taken me by surprise this time I am ready for it, I can beat it back down. Thank god scan first thing so not long to go. Hope I will chill out a bit and relax into the pregnancy. What's the chances old timers?

Best go so sorry not to catch up properly, just marking my space like a dog peeing on a tree so I don't loose you all again. X

pebspop · 10/04/2012 16:53

i had some testing after my 2nd mc and found blood clots in my placenta. i was supposed to take aspirin and heparin injections to thin my blood in the next pg but i mc'd early and didn't get chance to try the treatment. my third pg was identical twins so i am hoping that was just 'one of those things' and next time the blood thining stuff will work for me.

sunshinesue · 10/04/2012 16:42

hey pebs. Yep very similar, 3mc no children yet. I'm 31 but not for too long....

I've already got a dr's appointment booked for Sat (was to be about the pregnancy but it will be about mc now) so I'll see what they have to say. Have you been referred for any?

The only positive I can take from this is at least it's taking me less time to get pregnant, 7 months initially, 5 months second time round and just 2 this time. We must be getting better at sex! (actually I put it down to clear blue digi ov sticks and pregnacare conception if that helps anyone).

I'm already revising my thoughts of giving up so will probably be swi again soon....

Feel ok but am all over the shop, think I need to go and lie down in a dark room and calm the f down (I'm at work at the mo but counting the minutes until I leave).

leedy · 10/04/2012 16:28

Ha, I will be 40 in August, I am even more geriatric.

MarthasHarbour · 10/04/2012 16:15

manda

i will be 40 in January so if i get PG this month i will be skirting with a bubba in the last stretch of the 30s! Grin

sunshine

i think you are in a similar position to me. i have had three mc's and no children yet Sad.

are you going to get testing?

how old are you? i am 32 and although i know i am not over the hill the biological clock is ticking loudly in my ears! i will be at least 33 if i get lucky next time which is really frustrating for me.

MandaHugNKiss · 10/04/2012 15:53

Good luck vibes to those with scans coming up, so sorry sunshine that your news isn't happier.

marff

NoMoreMarbles · 10/04/2012 15:20

sunshinesue · 10/04/2012 15:08

Thanks for the thoughts everyone. Sorry to join the thread and bring it down in such a short space of time Blush. Hopefully I've taken all the bad luck though and the rest of you will have healthy babies very soon!

Not sure I've got it in me to try again but am certainly going to have a holiday somewhere hot and sunny whilst I think about it.

Best of luck everyone x

NoMoreMarbles · 10/04/2012 15:04

sunshineSad so sorry you have started to bleed. i hope you are ok (as well as can be expected of courseSad)

leedy · 10/04/2012 14:56

sunshine, so sorry to hear that.

Good luck to the scan people! And boris, for your reassurance I feel like slightly warmed-up shite today.

Totally hear you on the getting a year older, if the m/c hadn't happened I'd be having a baby at 39, now I'm (hopefully) having one at 40 which in my head is all kinds of OLDER HIGH RISK PARENT despite being only a few months later.

JaffaSnaffle · 10/04/2012 14:26

I googled porridge and constipation and it brought up a mixed response. It has helped me a lot, but looks like for some it might cause constipation, which is the last thing anyone needs! My porridge is very rough and fibrous, with lots of milk and water, not smooth, so perhaps this is the key...

Moominsarescary · 10/04/2012 13:40

Oh yes the getting older, I will be 34 next week and was hoping to have finished ttc, swi and all the metalling by now.

tits sorry to hear about your mum, we've just had the 17th anniversary of my dads death. I can't believe how long it's been.

pebs hope your feeling ok x

mrsn and tits good luck with the scan

Jaffa I'd never heard of porridge for constipation, will be trying it as seem to be suffering alot lately even without being pg.

sunshine I'm realy sorry x

Well we've decided to go for the not thinking about it ttc this month, I have even blocked out my head when af is due but think my cycle is the same as boris so must be on the tww now.

I've had no stick up bum ovulation pain this month so I'm worrying ovulation hasn't happened.

So Im being a bit stupid but I'm worried about conceiving a feb baby, I was due feb this year and feb last year but lost both baby's and have developed some odd paranoia about feb. Come tell me I'm being mad!
