I've chosen this one anyway, am picking it up this afternoon, see you at LFW dahlinks Grin

ScarlettInSpace · 26/03/2012 12:36

Cos I work from home, I've got my own desk & shelves, however half of both are given over to all sorts of shit lovely offcuts of material that I will never do anything with fully intend to turn into a clothing line one day Grin

Ha Whims, that would be my trouble. I have so much yarn as well. I have decided I need a room of my own for my creativeness!!!

whimsicalname · 26/03/2012 11:44

My sewing machine only takes up the same amount of space as a big briefcase. Or possibly a small suitcase. One of the ones that trundles along.

The problem is all the material. There's probably several cubic metres of material that 'might come in handy'.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/03/2012 11:36

I like your thinking Imps We only have a flat, so there isn't really anywhere to store it. Though DH's crap stuff is under the bed, in the wardrobes, on top of the wardrobes, in the stirage cupboard.......

I don't have a feeling in my bones. I'm a bit nervous.... Sad

Imps7 · 26/03/2012 11:34

"how"??? Jesus Christ, I meant "house" Confused.

Imps7 · 26/03/2012 11:33

Maybe how big can your new sewing machine actually be if it requires moving to a bigger how Confused Grin. I say sell some of DH's stuff to fit it in. Simples.

Very exciting about Maybe and Beedle's BFPs tomorrow! Twill be a great day, I can feel it in my bones.

Egg should be popping today or tomorrow - we SWId on Thursday, Saturday and have pencilled a shag in for tonight and Wednesday night too. Hopefully all bases shall be covered.

Happy Birthday Whims

Thanks Beedle for the threat of AF violence. I would test tomorrow joining maybe in confirming both your diffedness

Scarlett Grin at the Argos comments

BeedleTheBard · 26/03/2012 11:20

and maybe if I test tomorrow, you'll have to too

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/03/2012 11:16

Beedle those are all very valid reasons of why you should be testing tomorrow Grin I like your style.

Scarlett that is fantastic Grin I really want a sewing machine, but DH says I can't have one till we get a bigger house Sad

BeedleTheBard · 26/03/2012 11:12

happy Birthday whims

Excellent choice of present imps Grin

sweetie I'm still hoping that AF doesn't find you, I'll go out and find a big stick so that I can ward her off

I maybe tempted to test again tomorrow, as I'm then going to be away until Thurs evening and it feels wrong to test and not be able to show DP straight away (cos it will be positive Hmm ) but if I don't take any tests away with me the suspense might kill me. And besides, imps told me too Grin

ScarlettInSpace · 26/03/2012 11:11

Happy Birthday whims have a Wine and some Thanks

[wonders if everyone can forget what I said about my brithday being near Christmas and I can get a present from tiffany Blush ]

Just had to share this: I'm looking for a new sewing machine, and this is on the Argos Q&A about one model:

Q. what can it do

A. Hi,
Thanks for your question.
As this item is a sewing machine, I can confirm it is capable of sewing.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A

Grin I love it when a sense of humour shines through what must be a pretty dull day answering peoples stupid questions...

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/03/2012 10:18

Well done Imps, good choice on the present front there Grin

And I meant other than me..... Wink

whimsicalname · 26/03/2012 10:16

Carats. Another one of our 5 a day. Thanks imps. I might put in on my amazon wish list for Christmas.

Imps7 · 26/03/2012 10:14

Oh, and:

Happy birthday to you!
Happy birthday to you!
Happy biiiiiiiiirthday dear Whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiims
Happy birthday to you!

We Smacketeers all clubbed together and bought you a present - hope you like it.

Imps7 · 26/03/2012 10:11

"Who are we waiting to test?" asks Maybe. Tsk. Who indeed? YOU, YOU DOUGHNUT!!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/03/2012 10:08

Happy Birthday Whim!!! Well done MrWhim for getting you some nice bits, thoroughly deserved Smile And good for you eating that cake, boo to your colleagues. Though mine would be the same. I shall share your cake with you Wink

Oh Sweetie I am keeping everything crossed for you still

Glad you can enjoy the sunshine Olives We need to get a compost bin ASAP. Pimms is definitely good for you. It's a well known fact Grin

Pop what time is the scan tomorrow? I cannot believe how fast it has come around!

No news from me. Other than I am starving. Temp still high. No sore boobs at all, and a bit tired. And I have terrible, terrible shoulder pain. Don't worry though, I have had this for months, it has just gotten to a point now that I cry if I move a certain way, and it is keeping me awake at night. I will mention this to the GP tomorrow though, though the last time I asked them, they fobbed me off Hmm

Who are we waiting for to test?

We really need some spring time BFPs Smile

whimsicalname · 26/03/2012 09:53

Morning all. I'm feeling a bit better today, after a better night's sleep. My toddler was up screaming, but Mr Whim totally redeemed himself by getting up with him.

It's my birthday today, and he got me some lovely things. And, true to form, my big boys ran in at 6am (exactly the same as Mother's day) to give me cards and wake me up. No one in my office has remembered, so I'll have to eat the birthday cake I've made without them. All the more for us! Blood orange drizzle. Yum.

V impressed with your cycling imps. You must have buns of steel. And loving the Pimms as 5 a day olives. So true.

I'm hiding behind a barricade of papers I'm meant to be reading so AF can't get me. You're all welcome, esp sweetie, little and beedle. I really thought we'd nailed it this month, after I realised I ovulated on day 19/20 not 13/14.

Any more news from you maybe?

Exciting about your scan pop and has anyone seen far?

Pop I am so excited for you. That has come around so quick. What time are you going?

Olives Pimms one of your 5 a day Grin but yes I am sure it is

Maybe I think it is a bit late in my cycle for imp dip Sad but it has gone way lower than it normally does pre-AF. I would say keep your fx but don't think there is any point, she is circling the evil witch. How you feeling today?

I haven't gone into work due to tears and will be taking a few hours off this aft to make up for working Sat night.

McPopcornMouseNFries · 26/03/2012 08:58

Hurrah, I am back on a proper computer, not an uber-slow phone!

When is maybe due to POAS? :o

Gah whims, so sorry it didn't go to plan - I'm sure she'll come round and laugh about your foot-in-mouth moment soon (we all have them, after all). And I bet your food made up for it! :d

Scan tomorrow! I barely slept last night, I'm that nervous/excited Shock Blush

GreenOlives · 26/03/2012 08:52

x-posts Maybe Occasionally there are advantages to shift work - today is a day off so I can enjoy the sunshine - yay! Grin My DH also falls asleep when drunk usually becomes very amorous too Grin

GreenOlives · 26/03/2012 08:48

Morning ladies!

Sorry to hear about the spotting for Sweetie, Little, Beedle and Whims I am hoping that it's just implantation rather than the evil witch on her way! There seems to be some definite cycle synchronisation going on with so many of you at the same point in your cycle!

Whims Sorry about your crap weekend, as the others have said though I'm sure your friend must have been being a little over sensitive and will get over it quickly I'm sure.

I'm so impressed with all the veg growing that is being done by the smackateers! We got out strawberry plants out of the barn a few days ago and we are planning to grow tomatoes again this summer but other than that our fruit/veg comes from Tesco! My Dad has just got an allotment though so we should get some freebies from him hopefully! DH and DS did build a compost heap whilst I was at work yesterday so at least we can recycle some of our grass cuttings/veg peelings etc! Had a lovely time at the wedding on Saturday but my willpower failed and I did partake in a couple of Pimm's Shock However I have been reliably assured that Pimm's isn't really alcoholic and in fact does contribute to your 5 a day Confused Grin

Sunshine again - enjoy your Monday Smile
