Hi ladies :) me and my fiancé have been trying for a while and I've got to the point where every little thing seems like a possible sign I'm pregnant, now! I was due on my period today but no sign, I've had spots popping up all over the show and I never get spots due to super dry skin. I've got really bad backache and lots of CM at the moment. Only thing is I don't want to go and get excited over nothing like I have the past months. I'm testing at the weekend when my fiancé is home from work's training course but in the meantime would love to chat to someone in the same boat! Thanks ladies :) x

Oh no :( I'm sorry for you, I know how hard it is when the cow arrives. I always seem to find that she arrives just as I start to think, "this actually COULD be it". Hopefully the visits to the doctor will help things progress and you will soon be sharing your BFP news. One of my sisters is due in September and another is trying, so if nothing happens this month we're going to give ourselves a break for 6 months or so. I didn't want to at first, but with the neice/nephew arriving later in the year and the potential for another to arrive early 2013, I don't want to be looking at the babies feeling jealous when they're family. If this is the month then it's going to be a busy knitting year for our mother! :D If not, it's not meant to be for the moment and we'll break for a while. FX for the rest of you and I hope things go well at the doctors HappilyMarried xxx

No AF arrived on Tuesday and I had abit of a breakdown, cried all morning! Then decided enough was enough and took myself to the doctors. I am booked in for day 21 blood tests and I feel a little more positive about everything, at least we now have the ball rolling with regards to imvestigations. It is difficult when alot of your friends have babies or pregnant, lots of our friends are and I find it so difficult! I wish you the best of luck this month! Xxx

WonderlandAlice · 18/04/2012 22:37

Hi Happilymarried. Any sign yet? Hopefully not! Me and OH have talked some more and we're going to see what happens this month before we decide anything for the future. Some of our friends have recently had babies and others are pregnant and I think it's all a little much for him. We've not been trying for a full year yet but nearly. I have cysts on my ovaries but wasn't sure if that would prevent me completely? The doctor said not but she did say they could slow things down. AF due early next week so fingers crossed she stays clear! It would be perfect to have a December baby :) Hope this is the month for all of us ladies! How have the rest of you got on? FX xxxx

Oh that's a shame alice, how long have you been ttc?

Cd 28 for me so it's the final countdown now I've got all my fingers crossed that AF won't arrive between now and Wednesday, got a weekend away with the girls so that will keep my mind off it? X

WonderlandAlice · 13/04/2012 16:30

Thank you Pinkie and to you :) my OH has said that if we don't get there this time we should stop trying for a while :( xx

Fx for you alice! I secretly rage inside when it's announced haha, my brothers wife is due their first next week! Wasn't trying when they announced do I'll let them off ha! My dp says we should stop trying so hard :/ maybe I should let him think we're 'not trying' and keep the mentalness to myself Grin

WonderlandAlice · 12/04/2012 23:49

Another of my friends announced her pregnsncy this week! So hard. AF due for me around a week or so from here for me. So busy this month I've barely had time to keep track. So hopefully the whole, it happens when you don't expect it to thing will kick in! X

I'm the same I convince myself each month I'm pg especially last month when my cycle was 44 days! I've just made my dp sound a right meanie haha! I was just having a wobble and disappointed at no smiley we still dtd tho Smile I get the same 'it will happen, stress won't help' easier said than done... Men lol! Beggars belief that we all spend so long trying not to get up the duff now we want to its not a case of 'just happened' my partner tells me we don't know what goes on behind closed doors maybe he has a point hmm! We haven't told anyone we're ttc but once it happens we'll let them know it was very much planned Grin

same here everywhere I look there's pregnant people most friends (younger an older) have kids and all celebs seem to bee preggers hff! I've no idea when af is due, average cycle for me is 33 days

Happilymarried155 · 11/04/2012 13:07

It is hard, we are on cycle 12 and I often get upset. Dh trys to comfort me whilst saying really annoying things such as 'all this stress cant be helping' and 'it will happen when it happens!' He is not keen on visiting the doctor yet so we have agreed to wait a couple more months and then I have told him we need to go. The stress it getting to much, ALL of my friends either have young children or are pregnant and Im beginning to find it all just abit too much :(

On the upside though, I went abit crazy like you the first few months and went straight into pregnacare vitamins and opk and I'm so pleased to be having some time off them. If it doesnt happen straight away these things can get very heart wrenching and mean that you are constantly thinking about it. I feel much better having not used them this month. I dont however know when AF is due as I dont know when I ovulated but its anytime around 29-33 days which is saturday-wednesday.

I have a mild cramping in my tummy today, Im not sure if this a good sign or a sign on AF arrival. I also have been feeling a little sick after every meal but who knows-Every month I imagine symptoms and it hasnt happened so far! I cannot tell you how happy I would be to get a BFP, but every month that goes by I wonder if it will ever happen! (to think I honestly thought id be pregnant within the first few months :o I am never using contraception again!!)

Pinkie29 · 11/04/2012 11:20

happilymarried155 I have to keep my worries at bay for dps sanity! I had a little cry last night and he got a bit arsey :/ I know this is only our 3rd cycle but it's like I have a sixth sense knowing we'll have problems, sounds daft i know but I've never ever been pg in 14years of shagging and being very careful most of the time… I caved and ordered preseed and instead cups last week, not here yet so late ov would be ideal (no smiley face either in cb)

Happilymarried155 · 11/04/2012 08:05

Pinkie I will be visiting the doctor if we don't get a BFP this month, Its such a scary time! X

Happilymarried155 · 11/04/2012 08:03

Hi everyone!
I have been keeping up to date with this thread and thought I would check in as AF date is approaching! AF is due between 14th-18th I'm guessing. I ditched the opk this month and it's suprisingly refreshing! Im not counting down days and I haven't got any tests in the house, so I won't be tempted to test early! Will test next Thursday of AF hasn't arrived! Would love to get a BFP this month after a year of waiting and our best friend just had a little girl, would love to be able to share good news with her! When is everyone else AF due? X

WonderlandAlice · 10/04/2012 16:59

Good news :) fingers crossed for you :) TWW in progress for me atm, so much stress with work though we've barely had the energy to bd! How about you?

Well had my appointment this morning! Went really well he's arranged for me to have an ultrasound to check the ovaries Smile he said they wouldn't consider infertility as an issue unless we'd been actively trying for 12-18 months and still
got nowhere unless the ultrasound shows up with cysts then they'll look at doing further tests x

Pinkie29 · 02/04/2012 08:46

Yeah I'm thinking mum had kids that long ago they probably didn't exist haha, they'd be chuffed to bits that we're trying but I just don't want the added pressure of 'are you pregnant yet?' everytime I visit! No idea about the spotting sorry if it keeps up worth a trip to the docs just to check all is ok Smile got my appointment tomorrow morning! We've had an ace weekend too must be the weather Grin x

WonderlandAlice · 01/04/2012 19:46

Uh oh! The cat could well be out of the bag then Pinkie haha! Although you never know, they might not notice!
Something pretty bizarre has happened to me today. I came off my AF on Tuesday 27th and yesterday, the 31st, noticed a teeny tiny bit of pink spotting in the afternoon. Nothing afterwards or this morning when I woke up. Bizarre. Well this afternoon I went out for a drive to clear my head and when I've come back I've seen quite a lot of pink spotting (sorry if TMI), almost as if AF is coming AGAIN. Does anyone know what this is? My OH says it could be stress but I've never felt so relaxed as I have this past week - we've really spent some quality time together (not talking about babies haha) and enjoying one another without the pressure of baby talk! So I don't know. I think if it turns into a full on AF I'll take a trip to the GP, but just in the meantime wondered if any of you had had it? xx

How daft is this, was staying at my parents weds eve as dp was out, I've left my bbt thermometer under the pillow in the spare room! No-one knows we're trying and it's got a 'baby mad' logo!! Haven't had a call yet...

WonderlandAlice · 28/03/2012 20:57

Yeah exactly, best to know. The good news is it doesn't necessarily mean infertility so it can be managed :) do you get monthly af's? If so it probably isn't PCOS but could be poly cystic ovaries. Fingers crossed for you pinkie :) x

Pinkie29 · 28/03/2012 09:29

Ah that's great news Alice so there's hope for us yet! I had a scan years ago think I was about 23 as I was having major discomfort during sex they didn't find anything on the scan back then but didn't do any blood tests? I'd basically just rather find out sooner than later if theres a problem x

WonderlandAlice · 27/03/2012 22:35

Hi Pinkie :) Good that you've got an appointment, hope it turns out to be nothing though. I found out last December that I have large cysts on both ovaries, although I don't have PCOS. I was getting a mild discomfort in my lower abdomen every day, though I always had a regular period every month. They scanned me, gave me a blood test and then came back with the result. They can tell by the hormones in the blood test whether or not you have PCOS so hopefully you'll get a result soon. The good news is, two of my close friends have PCOS and one of them is pregnant with her first and the other has two boys. Hopefully your results will be clear and next month we'll all be celebrating our BFP's! :) Here's hoping! xx
