Thanks rightup.
I've got a clear blue digital anyways and will do it in the morning just to be triple sure!! That will be three different brands so should cement it in my brain lol as I still can't believe it.
This month I used sperm friendly lube conceive plus - that may have helped or could have been a coincidence...?!

My brain is in over drive ATM. Trying not to get / be too over excited as its obviously very early days but can't help it!!

So this thread has had lots of BFps. Who's next???Grin

RightUpMyRue · 09/04/2012 13:57

Another BFP! You're all falling like flies!

Congratulations mytime. Clearblue digital are well regarded as are First Response. However, as you've waited until you're late any test should show up as a positive now, no need to spend loads of money. I'd go for a shops own cos I'm cheap they're just as good at this stage. Smile

RIBS, it's such a pain not knowing what's going on in there Sad

Still no AF, not even bothering to test because it's going to be a BFN so why waste a test? Just waiting for something to happen.

Thanks hai and ribs

Still not sink in.

I'm off to the shops to buy a proper test as I used Internet cheapies ( 2 different types though do hopefully they aren't both wrong)

Would any one be able to recommend which one to buys I.e which are the most reliable/ accurate ?

Thanks x

CODwidow · 09/04/2012 11:56

RIBS · 09/04/2012 10:22

Rightup I think we'v both got v awkward bits and I for 1 am going to give mine a good talking to!!

Hopefully 2 late BFP's for us in the week...??? Smile

RIBS · 09/04/2012 10:19

WOW!!! Big congrats to you mytime and bird.

We've had loads of BFPs lately.

Ive tested yest and this morning. Due tomorrow. All BFN's. Temp high again after 1 little dip. Dont feel like AF is on her way but on a 10miu test 11 DPO you'd think there'd be a little line.

So im still in limbo. Gonna try and hold off til Weds to test and then im officially late.

I KNOW I ovulated 13 days ago. Massive thick line on ov stick. Do you have to have a period 14 days after, is that the law of lady bits???

Good luck to any1 testing today!!

mytime777 · 09/04/2012 09:51

I'm in shock!! I waited to poas till I was late! 2 BFps for me this morning after being 3 days late!!

So excited and In shock !! Grin

RightUpMyRue · 08/04/2012 21:55

It is very frustrating. One way or the other, can I have an answer please?!

Have bought new batteries for my BBT, downloaded and printed a chart, bought more HPTs and OV kits and some Conceive Plus lube. I am so ready to start a new cycle, why isn't my womb on the same wave length?

Cookiesandcream06 · 08/04/2012 21:39

bird congratulations!!

morecoffee I'm so sorry to hear that, it isn't over till AF arrives though, but FX and will be thinking of you.

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 08/04/2012 09:27

Thanks :(
Had a good cry. I really can't believe it. I.am so upset. Anyway I guess we will just carry on ttc. I wish I hadn't taken that bloody test now. Oh well, lesson learnt for me today. Guess I will see some of you over on the may board. I'm going to have a 'break' from mn for a day or two, just until the dreaded AF arrives and I can move on xx

mytime777 · 08/04/2012 09:21

Sorry to hear that morecoffee.

Congrats birds Smile
I'm a day late so gonna see if the witch arrives later. I'm using all the will power I the world not to test until tomorrow.....

Bfn again today :( feeling like really gutted tbh. :( had a good cry and just waiting for AF now.

Congrats to you bird! Rest up and take it easy! :)

birdofthenorth · 08/04/2012 07:16

BFP!!!!!!!!!

Or rather FFP, very faint second line, but it is definitely there!

So happy as was pretty desperate to get knocked up again before June when mc'd baby was due. Would like to do cartwheels but realise I need to be cautious & not count my chickens! But still, wheeee! Took DD (19 months) into the loo with me as normal this morning (separation anxiety!) then got her to take my (cleaned!) positive stick to her Daddy in bed and say Happy Easter! Sadly DH then only saw one line & I implored him to turn the light on to see the other, but then he agreed it was there!!

Any news morecoffee? Or anyone else?

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 07/04/2012 22:55

Hi winkle, I will be testing first thing tommorow, so will update then :) hoping all will be well, I do 'feel' pregnant and a similar thing did happen with ds1 when we conceiving him and he is now 6 so I know deep down that 2 different results is not necessarily the end of the world, but at the time it certainly feels like it!

Good luck for you this cycle! I know your worried about the alcohol consumption for you and your dh/dp, but, honestly try not too. One thing I have learnt is you cant put your life on hold just because your ttc! Anniversarys and special lunches with friends dont happen every day- have a glass of wine and enjoy it! It's not as though you're drinking to excess and doing so every day! I have put off so much while ttc this time- we didnt go on holiday (abroad) just in case, I didnt apply for new jobs just in case, never had a bloody drink just in case! This month, I applied for jobs, paid for our foreign holiday and had a couple of glasses of wine and I might actually have got my long awaited bfp! Bloody typical Grin ! Not sure what to do about the holiday though, we fly off in 2 months Confused ! Will cross that bridge when I get my definate bfp I suppose!

winkle2 · 07/04/2012 22:40

Keep us posted morecoffee.

I'm still here. Gearing myself up for loads of sex which starts on Monday (CD8).

Hubs and I drank yesterday as we met up with friends. Tomorrow hubs friend is coming for Sunday lunch so no doubt a few beers will be consumed although I'll try not to drink wine.

Monday is our wedding anniversary so we'll have some champers.

It's too much drinking isn't it?! But it's so hard not to!!

Anyone else have the same problem?

wunnybunny · 07/04/2012 22:38

im 11 days away from testing i have had stomach cramps for 2 days and im very tired did a test today saw what i think was faintest of faint lines on 10mil test?? but might of imagined it due to not getting enough sleep due to drunks breaking windows and council fixing at 4am

birdofthenorth · 07/04/2012 21:38

I'm testing again in the morning. No real reason to believe it'll be positive but still blindly optimistic!

Wishing you heaps of luck with your multiple testing tomorrow morecoffee. False negatives are much more common than false positives so feeling optimistic for you too.

Anyone else going for an Easter Day poas?!

jennifer86 · 07/04/2012 17:23

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on this board for several weeks since just introducing myself when last AF had arrived. I'm now 7dpo so thought I'd come and see how everyone was getting on! I had a look at that website, Right, certainly looks interesting, something for me to read this afternoon to take my mind off the wait for the next 7 days. This TWW malarky does drag on, doesn't it... I'm starting to get very impatient already. :)

morecoffee, I hope you're not too stressed out and everything works out the way you hope in the end. It must be really frustrating not knowing which tests to believe. I assume that eventually every brand will agree but I know it must be so difficult not knowing at the moment. Keep us updated. Can I ask, do you know how many days post ovulation you are? If you're past your usual luteal phase length then that has to be a good sign!! If not, then maybe just try to forget about it for a few days until you are, then you should get more conclusive results (thoretically, anyway!)

How is everyone else doing? I will be testing next Saturday, 14th (that is assuming AF hasn't turned up by then and my internet cheapy tests have turned up by then!) Anybody care to join me?

morecoffeewantsmorechoccie · 07/04/2012 11:45

Just had a quick look at that website. Seems clearblue digital is actually quite accurate............

Will just test again tommorow and see what happens.
