CD 1 today and my last cycle was 34 days which means I'm due to test 6th April.

Anyone fancy joining me?

Oh good, I don't think I could manage every day! Blush

curiousgeorgie · 15/03/2012 11:39

No, the advice is every other day but not being totally sure of my dates I'm just trying not to miss my actual ovulation day... Making DH take zinc, not have hot baths (or any baths at all lol) and just generally trying to keep his sperm super healthy haha...

Iheartcats87 · 15/03/2012 11:33

Everyday? I was under the impression that every other day was more effective as he needs to replenish so to speak...is this wrong then? Maybe I should be dtd everyday....

curiousgeorgie · 15/03/2012 11:24

Hai1988 - We're going for everyday this week and every other day next week. I'm over it already on day 4 lol...

Hai1988 · 15/03/2012 10:50

MildredH · 14/03/2012 22:14

MildredH · 14/03/2012 22:09

Haha cookies absolutely ditto.. HOW MUCH EXTRA TIME??!!

I've even had a shower and shaved my legs for the I occasion ( only happens on a needs basis in winter time).. May go to waste!

I wanted to watch One Born on catch up after this too Hmm

Cookiesandcream06 · 14/03/2012 22:03

Haha just a scowling /concentrating expression! I will not be DTD at this rate tonight either - stupid bloody football!! Angry grrr

RightUpMyRue · 14/03/2012 21:52

Definite and serious SWI.

Do you think that means we'll be doing it with really deep frowns on our faces and there'll be no enjoying it?

I hate you for that too Wink

Cookiesandcream06 · 14/03/2012 21:50

Good positive thinking right, it's not over yet, fingers crossed it'll bugger off ASAP just in time for some definite SWI.

I got pregnant with DD without even really trying, first month off the pill which I had been on for years. I even hate myself for this!

RightUpMyRue · 14/03/2012 21:43

Thanks both.

Bleeding seems to be slowing, deffo less than this morning. Hopefully just a bizarre blip and we'll back to some serious SWI by the weekend.

cherrypiew3 · 14/03/2012 21:42

Hai sorry to hear about BFN.

Right AF on cd10 is rubbish hope your body sorts itself out soon.

Welcome CuriousSmile

At the moment I don't really care if I give birth on christmas day I just want a baby right now. In the past I have been very lucky and conceived quickly ds2 took the longest 3 months, so to be on cycle 6 this time round is getting me down a little.

winkle2 · 14/03/2012 21:16

Hai - sorry re BFN :(

Re CB digi OV sticks - I get them from Amazon, 7 for £12.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that right, that is stupidly unfair. Maybe worth a trip to the docs just to check everything is ok?
Stupid female bodies!!!

Hai1988 · 14/03/2012 19:52

ahh thanks, i kinda guessed that it was your period, just didnt understand what af stood for.

RightUpMyRue · 14/03/2012 19:40

Aunt Flo, a.k.a your period.

Hai1988 · 14/03/2012 19:38

Oh sorry to hear this rightup, I have no idea whats up with my body atm, think i am about to come on aswell, have pains and really sore boobs. Sad

I dunno whats going on with my body as just come off pill, but gonna swi regardless
BTW i guess what af kinda means but what does it stand for?

RightUpMyRue · 14/03/2012 19:05

ARRRGH!

What is going on with my crappy body?!

I seem to have started my period. On CD10 Confused. How can I ovulate when there's so much blood?

Feeling crap. Sad

curiousgeorgie · 14/03/2012 18:37

There are SO many typos in that post because DD is on my lap pressing buttons!!

curiousgeorgie · 14/03/2012 18:36

Me too... but now whatever month the due date would be in becomes my new favourite month... It was 'a June birthday would be good because they'd be at school with all friends but still have an outdoor party', then... 'July would be good as no ones birthday is then' 'august we could go away for birthday' 'September good for schools' 'October, Halloween would be a cool birthday.....'

Etc :p

MildredH · 14/03/2012 18:33

I think when you first start trying you have all kinds of ideas about what month would be ideal.. We certainly bought right into the Sept/ Oct babies do well at school argument ( lots of prime ministers, barristers, high acheivers in general have bdays then). However now, after a few months of trying id be happy with a BFP and successful pregnancy any month at all!

Cookiesandcream06 · 14/03/2012 18:03

My best friend had a DS just after Christmas and was the best present ever. Also it means being heavily pg when it's cold... I had my DD in the height of summer amongst heat waves, and I have never been (or ever will be) SO uncomfy!!

curiousgeorgie · 14/03/2012 17:57

ddas - I feel the same way. I think a december due date sounds great... my DH and I both have birthdays in december and we love it. Maybe it's fate ;)

And a friend of mine gave birth on the 20th December last year and her christmas just sounded so wonderful.
