CD 1 today and my last cycle was 34 days which means I'm due to test 6th April.

Anyone fancy joining me?

No positive for me either cookies. Due to test again in an hour or so, so will see how it goes. no other signs either.

I'm not charting or anything else, but according to most calculators should be in the fertile period now.

MildredH · 17/03/2012 21:34

I use period tracker on the iPhone hai find it quite good but only as useful as the info you put in iyswim. You can either put in your cycle length or it'll work it out after a few months.

I was I obsessed with not having my period for my wedding or honeymoon last year so I started inputting about 18mo ago.

Cookiesandcream06 · 17/03/2012 20:50

I've still not had a remotely positive OPK. Peed off! Typical when there's been a great dead effort Sad

I've got my app that has my cycle on it and what days should (hopefully) be my fertile days, and I've started charting my temps on it. But that's about it. Any recommendations ladies?

Hai1988 · 17/03/2012 20:46

Hey guys, hope everyone is ok.

Wondered if any of u know of any good phone apps about ttc ect...

Happy st paddy's day Shamrock

backwardpossom · 17/03/2012 12:38

Well we dtd last night, CD9, and I think we'll swi every second day. Going to try these OPKs out in a bit just so I know.

curiousgeorgie · 17/03/2012 11:01

Mildred - The same with me re ovulation sticks. I used one every day the month I conceived my DD, every single one was negative, I swi anyway! And she's here sitting next to me :)

RightUpMyRue · 17/03/2012 00:03

You've only got to look at the amount of websites which are wholly dedicated to or have sections dedicated to TTC and the amount of women struck by this fever to feel assured we're normal. Smile

backwardpossom · 16/03/2012 22:15

No, I think it's fairly normal. A friend of mine in {{{shock}}} real life told me all about her POAS antics when I confided in her that we were TTC!

MildredH · 16/03/2012 21:54

I certainly could not let anyone else into the madness of the date counting/ temping/ poas-ing.. I sometimes wonder do most people do this stuff or are we in the mad minority?

RightUpMyRue · 16/03/2012 20:43

Same as Mildred, we told family, close friends and my work about the MC (I work with nurses and health visitors so if I couldn't tell them who could I tell?!) so they're all expecting news of a BFP from me soon.

It does add a bit of pressure (like I'm not pressuring myself enough already!), you can't help thinking they must all suspect you've got fertility issues because month after month there's no news. In paranoid moments I feel like we're all thinking it but no one is saying it. However, in sane moments I'm pretty sure they're not that interested and aren't counting my cycle days like I am! Grin

MildredH · 16/03/2012 20:42

True hai, I kind of wish less people knew now but we told ppl about mc as it was few days before Christmas and I missed things etc/ saw alot of family & friends. Also had to tell ppl at work as there were things I couldn't do..

Ooh I hope there's news to tell/ keep secret soon!!

Hai1988 · 16/03/2012 20:31

We have only told one friend, was thinking of telling More people like parents, but think the More people that know the more pressure is on u.
As everytime they see u they ask are u pg yet .

MildredH · 16/03/2012 20:24

I haven't proactively told people we're TTC aside from my mum but I imagine people assume we are trying again as we told quite a few people about the MC.

Cookiesandcream06 · 16/03/2012 19:49

I think you're very right right. Thank goodness they're no where near as observant as us! Have you all really told anyone in RL you're TTC?? As I've told one friend and that's it..

RightUpMyRue · 16/03/2012 19:18

IME cookies most men are pretty unobservant about things like that and he's not likely to recognise the packaging is he? You probably got away with it Smile

Cookiesandcream06 · 16/03/2012 19:13

They'll just be quite expensive mildred that's all. I think my pack of 30 opk was like a few quid online from amazon, also settles my need to POAS so I can do a lot and I don't have to feel as guilty.

I couldnt believe the bad luck, I tried to hide them with the B vitamins I was buying as they weren't so blinking obvious! What are the chances?! He has a 1 year old DD now as well so I'd feel even more like a melon if he saw!!!

RightUpMyRue · 16/03/2012 19:12

Ahh, OK and, of course, you won't need any next month because we're all going to get PG this month Godammit! Grin

MildredH · 16/03/2012 18:06

Thanks rue I did very optimistically order the Preg tests from your link but at that time I was holding strong against opk's - however now I've broken and there'll be no time to get them in the post etc so resorting to whatever Asda/boots have..

MildredH · 16/03/2012 18:03

That's brilliant cookies!! I always sneak very furtively when buying anything pregnancy related.. As if I'm a naughty teenager. My body has reached its thirties but the mind hasn't quite caught up. Luckily never been spotted by anyone.
Exes always turn up in awkward places!

RightUpMyRue · 16/03/2012 18:03

Mildred, I linked to some IC (internet cheapies) up the thread. Have search back.

RightUpMyRue · 16/03/2012 18:02

I don't usually OV until later in my cycle, more like CD17/18 and I'm on CD14 today and still having a bit of my weirdo bleeding so there's been no SWI but it's OK cos there's been no eggie either. All -ve OPKs so far.

I've decided to stop taking the agnus castus because I think that's what made me start bleeding. Hopefully will be able to get some action in tomorrow.

YY to conceiving on Mother's Day, has to be, surely?! Grin

MildredH · 16/03/2012 18:01

Have tried Asda cheapies and clear blue ones ( not digital though) anyone suggest anything different? X

Cookiesandcream06 · 16/03/2012 18:00

Oh and a funny story to make you laugh..

I was buying more pregnacare in town today.. I hear 'hello' , turn round.. And it's my ex who I was with for 5 years. I have never shuved something in a bag so quickly in all my life! Ahh the madness continues..

MildredH · 16/03/2012 18:00

That's it I'm sold- CD10 today. Off to the shops.

Just wait for the whinging now about constantly 'failing' them! ( never got a positive ever- including the month we conceived!) Hmm

Cookiesandcream06 · 16/03/2012 17:58

There should be some sort of rehab centre for peeing on sticks. I find myself analysing if I think it's a 'good one' as well. Get a grip me. Blush
Im entering my 'fertile days' so full steam ahead if the december dream is still to occur..
