Big hug MumTum I have everything crossed for you too xx

HettyTurner · 29/04/2012 13:31

Oh Mumtum, that's what happened to me last time. It is such a difficult time waiting for the next scan. You can be hopeful because it often turns out that it was just too early; lots of people go back or forward by up to a week and at this early stage that can mean the difference between a yolk sack, embyo and heartbeat. I know though that it is difficult to stay positive when you want to be prepared for the worst.

I found that I just carried on being pregnant just for that day. I could do that, one day at a time. x

Blackkat · 28/04/2012 22:46

to send mumtum huge hugs, have everything crossed for you that it's not what you think x x

TomboyWife · 28/04/2012 10:19

Morning ladies SadSadSadfeeling today scan showed a perfectly formed gestation sac but it was empty Sad that said this could go either way. Havin googled it seems that by 5 weeks 4 days u would always see a yolk sac within . I'm devastated. They've rebooked me for another scan in 2 weeks but said if I get any bleeding to call them straight back why oh why is this so hard SadSad

TomboyWife · 27/04/2012 18:13

So sorry Hetty. :-(

Hetty sorry to hear your news x big hug x You sound very positive, hope you have lots of RL hugs xxxx don't be so hard on yourself xxx

MumTum it's 3pm - thinking of you and sending many positive thoughts your way xxxx good luck xxxx

HettyTurner · 27/04/2012 11:47

Mumtum - good luck with your scan I hope it's good news.

Not good news from me. I am certain it's another MC Sad very heavy bleeding and clots started this morning and got sent home from work. I was feeling sick and a bit shakey and needed to change everything every 45mins to an hour and I couldn't teach my lessons that are 1.5hrs like that. Everyone at work kind of rushed around and fussed, I just stood there and felt like a complete idiot for trying again straight away.

I pressed the m button on CBFM this moring so CD1 again for me, fresh cycle, fresh start new opportunity Smile

MumTumWanted · 27/04/2012 09:41

Hetty I'm sorry things aren't clear but they do say it's not over til af arrives proper so I will have my fingers crossed for u xxx

Ostrich my mum says don't ask don't get so I see no harm asking ur gp but he may say no as usually it's prescribed following evidence of clotting in the placenta following previous mc Confused

I got an early scan it's at 3 today so I'm more than a little mentalling now !!!!!

HettyTurner · 26/04/2012 20:42

Stil BFN on boots tests for me and still spotting on and off. Had bright red blood earlier today and thought AF had truely arrived, but then nothing since. It reminds me of the end of bleeding of my miscarriage it kept starting and stopping.

Either way I'm pretty sure I'm out and am sat here with a nice glass of red considering having a cry!

Ostrich78 · 26/04/2012 17:45

Well done going to the docs MumTum! Mine wont see me until I'm 6 weeks. Did you request an early scan?

I was thinking to ask about taking asprin when I go, I know it's not a good idea to take it unless you're prescribed it but thought I'd ask the docs opinion....

MumTumWanted · 26/04/2012 11:12

Hetty any news hun??

I'm in the go waiting area going to make it officialConfused very scary

Ostrich78 · 26/04/2012 08:57

Mumtum good news xx I'm thinking of doing that too seeing as I still have no sickness. Do have v slightly sore boobs and feel v tired - in bed at 9:30 last night.
Love the penny sweets buffet! Nom nom.

Hetty Hope you get a BFP if you didn't already! xxx

HettyTurner · 25/04/2012 14:06

Just missed you Mumtum, brilliant the CB digi went to 3+ weeks. At least it all seems to be going to plan so far.

Thanks for the cake and sweets, I really needed that.

HettyTurner · 25/04/2012 14:03

I have another tesco one and 3 more boots digi ones. I'm just going to wait until the weekend. Spotting is still light red / pink and not there everytime I wipe. And still got sore boobs, tired and tea tastes funny and everything smells odd. Frustingly just got to wait and see!

MumTumWanted · 25/04/2012 14:01

Hetty bg digi strength is 40 !!! So don't worry to much about this one . Awful is it sounds I think waiting a couple more days would help as the hcg is meant to double daily Smile

As for me I caved again ( still no sickness but sore norks and tired) I did the cb digi today and it very quickly read pregnant 3+ so this reassuring but not as reassuring as seeing a heartbeat on a scan screen my epu are really unhelpful and will only see u with a go referral Hmm I'm reluctant to go to the gps yet silly of me but feels like that would make it like I'm actually admitting accepting I'm pregnant againBlushHmm

TomboyWife · 25/04/2012 10:26

Hetty how confusing. Confused Do you have another brand test you can try?

OP posts:
HettyTurner · 25/04/2012 08:34

OK, so the boots digi is basically an ov test really and the second line needs to be as dark or darker than the second line to be positive. So it doesn't mean anything. They should say this on the box.

HettyTurner · 25/04/2012 08:10

So I just googled the sensitivities of tesco and boots, tesco is 25 and boots is 50 so tesco is more sensitive and might explain BFN this morning. When I looked at the strip that comes out there is a faint line there - you'd think it would pick it up. So I am feeling slightly more positive now.

HettyTurner · 25/04/2012 06:59

Digi said not pregnant... could be a chemical then I suppose. Sad

HettyTurner · 24/04/2012 20:54

Just had a little bit of pink spotting, I know it's common and could be implantation bleeding, but it's scared me so much.

Bought some digi ones so will do another in the morning. I hope everything is OK.

Ostrich78 · 24/04/2012 20:41

Hi Hetty, congratualtions to you! If you had a negative on Sat then it doesn't sound like leftovers from your mc x Maybe a digital one will make you feel better (and you wont have to wait too long for the results).

xx

HettyTurner · 24/04/2012 13:56

I've not been on here for ages and was excited to hear Ostrich and Mumtum have had BFP congratulations. I think I may have got BFP this morning. Very faint line on a tesco cheapy, but def there in comparisson to my BFN on Saturday.

So I was worrying that it might be left over hormones from mc, but I had a negative test on Sat, so it can't be right?

Should I call the Dr straight away, maybe he could to a blood test to check it so I don't get too excited?

Maybe I'll get a CB digi one to do in the morning?

I am so unsure what to do, even though this is my 3rd BFP!!!

Ostrich78 · 24/04/2012 09:10

Morning all, (lurkers too!)
Sore boobs and tiredness do sound promising MumTum, know how difficult it is to not worry though xx The EPAU said I could call at 7 weeks to get an early scan - not sure if that's the earliest they'll do it? Did they offer you an early one? Fingers crossed you can get in to see a lovely hb asap xxxx

Called the doctors and they wont see me until I'm 6 weeks... I have no symtoms but hoping everything is ok. I did sleep for 3 hours on Sunday though.... come on sickness and sore boobies!!

TomboyWife · 23/04/2012 21:51

MumTum at this stage I wouldn't put too terribly much store in what the digi says. It's only a home test after all, and it could make you panic about nothing.

Your symptoms sound promising to me, nausea or no. Sending good vibes your way, I hope you're not worrying too much (easier said than done, I know). Smile
