Sorry AF got you cherry I was saying to dh last night that the though of doing it all again and waiting another month is drivin me to tears :(

I really think I'm out this month, just waiting for AF to start now. I'll only test if it hadn't come by sat but I'm sure it will.

I'll be stocking up on lots of wine and choc to drown my sorrows.

Does anyone else think I'm just going to chill this month and not think about it? I really wish I could but it's all I can think about and I feel it's stopping it happening.

I want a little baby so much, I want to give ds a sibling and for the age gap to not be massive.

cherrypiew3 · 06/03/2012 10:26

Well I am out AF got me this morningSad and I am gutted stupidly got my hopes up and the thought of doing all this again for another month is just not appealing to me at the moment but I will cause I know in the end it will be worth it, just on a real downer now. Sad

Congratulations Bimble a line is a line

Laura and Ellesabe stick to your guns I don't think testing helps with the obsessing.

DH21 still got my fingers crossed for you.

I wish all you Ladies lots of luck will pop back in a few days to see how you are all getting on and hope to see some BFPs

Bimbledorf · 06/03/2012 09:32

Well there was a line this morning on the other Tesco test - but it was even fainter if that is even possible! My temperature is still really low at 36.2 which is lower than it was this time last month - so not sure if it is all working properly. We shall see, I guess a line is a line though...Hmm

Everything crossed for the rest of you testing, I can't believe your will power some of you!

Winkly · 06/03/2012 08:59

Ooh bimble I've never had any hint of a smidge of the faintest line, so am very excited for you!

ellesabe · 06/03/2012 08:56

Excellent laura, we can stick to our guns together Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/03/2012 07:53

ellesabe haha I would say test but as you only have one in the house it's prob to wait til fri/ sat. Keeping my FX.

bimble woo! That's v exciting I think you should test again right now soon.

I've still got backache and cramps, not looking good :(

LauraM20 · 06/03/2012 07:02

Go Ellesabe, AF is due on Friday 16th and I too only have one test, I'm going to try and wait until the Saturday! All this early testing is too heart wrenching and then if you get a bfn you spend the rest of the week thinking "I could still be pregnant!, maybe it was too early!' not for me this month-im going to have good willpower!! :)

ellesabe · 05/03/2012 22:08

bimble! How exciting!!

Well I'm on cd27 now but last cycle af didn't show up until cd37. I have only got one test and I really don't want to waste it so I plan on waiting at least another week Shock

I know some of you dh21 will try to persuade me otherwise but I should warn you ladies that I have will-power of steel! Grin

ImpatientOne · 05/03/2012 21:58

oh sounds good Bimble :)

Bimbledorf · 05/03/2012 21:18

Hmm just got an incredibly faint line on a Tesco test!!!!

cherrypiew3 · 05/03/2012 21:18

Ellesabe fingers crossed for you when are you planning on testing?

DH21 not long now till Wednesday hopefully AF will stay away from you.

Still no AF for me been over and over my dates to check and we dtd 3 times around OV time so no idea what's going on guess all I can do now is to wait and see what happens.

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/03/2012 19:14

I've got immense backache, just come on in the last few mins. Really not a good sign for me. Backache= AF from recent experience. I suppose if AF does come in the next few days I'm on a normal ish cycle. Although that makes me more confused because that means I would have OV mid cycle and we dtd LOADS around that time, looked on my period app and we dtd 4 times in one week around my fertile time.

ellesabe · 05/03/2012 18:31

I just ate some pork pie and now I feel bleuch again Sad

I'm going to be really peeved if this is all in aid of nothing!

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/03/2012 15:17

cherry sorry you got a bfn, still in the running til AF though!

laura I've been off the pill since mid dec so this month will be the 3rd. If AF shows up I'll be getting OPKs ASAP!

I feel like AF is on the way though, slight cramps and a full ache in my actual bits (sorry!) so just waiting for it to come now.

Bimbledorf · 05/03/2012 13:41

Well BFN this morning and really no symptoms at all. I felt way more pregnant this time last month, however I wasn't pregnant so that doesn't actually say anything! I had a little nap after droppiong kids at school today - unheard of! However it could quite easily have just been a procrastination attempt since I am on a deadline that I can't be bothered to meet!!

AF due on Friday, I'm telling myself it's too soon to test - but temps are also only at 36.2 for last couple of days so reckon I might even be early!

Can't believe how many of you have BFP this month - congratulations!

To all others - Brew or Wine...

LauraM20 · 05/03/2012 13:27

Hi dh21,
You tend to ovulate at a similar time each month but it can vary, I normally ovulate at around day 18 & 19 but it was day 12 this month. The length of your cycle depends on how long your lutheal phase is, mine is 16 days. This does not change each month. Is this only your 2nd month off the pill? If that's the case you need to monitor your cycle for a few months, my gp told me you may not ovulate the first few months coming off the pill, if I was you I would use the opk and the count how long your lutheal phase is then you won't be wondering each month what's going! Hope that helps xx

cherrypiew3 · 05/03/2012 13:02

Well I POAS this morning and BFNSad so now on cd31 (normally 29 day cycles) and I know I should not be deluding myself but I just have this feeling. Do you think it could be the tests I have been using some really cheap ones from home bargins. If AF or a BFP does not show up soon I am going to go crazy.

How is everybody else doing who is testing next?

DesperateHousewife21 · 05/03/2012 09:25

Ah ok, yeah it was 36 days last month but I thought it could be because of coming off the pill and they hadn't settled down yet.
I'm on cd27 today so going to wait til wed then test if no AF.

ellesabe · 05/03/2012 08:37

I don't think so. Didn't you have a really long cycle last month? Also, I think I remember laura saying that she ov a week earlier than usual this cycle, and she uses ov sticks.

OP posts:
DesperateHousewife21 · 05/03/2012 08:17

Quick question: if you OV say on day 14 one month will it always be day 14 or can it change from month to month?
Just worked out from the date ds wa born worked it back 38 weeks and it looks like I OV for him right about day 13 or 14.
Which would make my cycle a v regular 28 days, so does that mean my cycle now should still be about that?

ellesabe · 05/03/2012 08:00

Any news cherrypie?

Hi everyone, I'm still lurking but enjoying the tranquility of period week. No worrying about shagging on the right days, no symptom spotting. Crampy painful messy bliss :)

dh21 the pregnancy board link I posted shows some women not getting a bfp until a week or more AFTER af was due so don't despair.

fx cherry elle and everyone waiting.

DesperateHousewife21 · 04/03/2012 17:25

Good luck cherrypie let us know how you get on.
