Winkly · 07/03/2012 20:50

Oooh I had popped in to say that my bumper box of Preseed, OV sticks and preg tests had arrived but DH21 and bimble have much more exciting news! Looking forward to tomorrow morning's updates :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/03/2012 19:50

Thank you! It doesn't feel real yet, can't wait to test tomo and hopefully the line will be clearer. I'll join the nov thread soon!

wifey6 · 07/03/2012 18:09

DH21 Grin Grin congratulations!!!!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/03/2012 17:18

I've just done another eBay test, this line was even fainter!

I'm going to do another tomorrow, prob a boots test this time seeing as I have more tests than a pharmacy atm!

Dh knows and he's v happy!

Bimbledorf · 07/03/2012 17:09

eee exciting DH21...the least clear test I took was the ebay ic which in retrospect did have an exceptionallly faint line but I only confirmed this by taking the Tesco test. Test again, test again!

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/03/2012 16:21

Ok I've text my sis a pic of the test and she says it's a line too.

Omg a BFP....I'm pregnant!

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/03/2012 16:09

Right so I've just done an eBay test as I was getting too impatient.

At first glance I thought oh no it's a bfn.....but if I hold it up to the light I can see a really really faint line.

Is it a line line or just a shadow where the line would be if it was a BFP iykwim!?

My heart is pounding.

booboomonster · 07/03/2012 13:10

congrats bimble on your BFP. I feel a bit of a fraud as I've only just joined the thread, but I have just done another test, my 5th, 20 days after we last DTD which I think was around ovulation, 8 days after AF due, and it came up with a very very faint positive. I don't know what to think. I bought the tests in Asda 2 for a pound, the other day, and they only say 90% accurate on them. It's a pink coloured test rather than the blue which I remember reading somewhere means something. It is driving me insane. And I had wine last night. I am going to wait and do the other test tomorrow. But not sure of their accuracy. And it was very faint. What I thought was period pains have gone now though I am still feeling emotional. Am now looking for that thread which people list how late they got their BFPs....

Bimbledorf · 07/03/2012 10:46

Thanks Pipsicles - done :o

pipsicles · 07/03/2012 08:50

Congratulations Bimble! Come and join us on the November 12 thread under antenatal groups. (sorry- I don't know how to add a link!)

I keep lingering to see what's going on. Thinking of you all and sending you lots of luck - I hope it's your turn soon!!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 07/03/2012 07:09

Welcome booboo I had that last month, think AF showed up on day 36.

I'm on day 29 now and no AF but still backache etc so not going to test and be disappointed.

bimble big congrats to you that's great news! Hope everything goes smoothly for you :)

Bimbledorf · 06/03/2012 21:55

Well all four tests seem to agree on the same thing! So weird to think this is it and my current youngest is 5 in a month! Decision on #3 has FINALLY been made!

I have to say that until today when my boobs have just started to hurt ridiculously that I actually didn't have any obvious symptoms. I did have many painful twinges in abdomen, but this isn't that unusual for me as I have a ton of scar tissue in there. Oh actually I made a special trip to get Pate and Camembert to gorge on it in a sort of final meal way this weekend just past...not sure if that meant anything?!!

I massively hope that it is not only me giving the news in the next couple of days - will be lingering!!! Good luck all of you Wink

booboomonster · 06/03/2012 21:47

Laura just read your post, wow you have a lot of preg friends! That's hard - hope you'll be joining them this month!

booboomonster · 06/03/2012 21:45

Hello can I join? I should be at the end of my 2 WW but my body is playing silly buggers and I'm having a long gap between periods... so far on day 37 and counting. I am totally sure I'm not pg, had 4 BFNs. Been having period style cramps all day and mood swings. So tonight I am having wine and feeling (a bit) chilled.

I'm TTC no 3, and usually (for last 18 months or so) have regular 29 day cycle and kind of know when I'm ovulating, until I started TTC, and I've had one 32 day cycle and this one. Typical. I am trying not to obsess but been lurking a bit on your thread so I thought I'd say hello. I'm just willing AF to arrive now so I can get on with the next attempt (as it were).
Anyway, willing everyone BFPs!

LauraM20 · 06/03/2012 20:55

Well I'm a week into my 2ww now, haven't been too stressy yet, it helps I've been really busy at work at next week is looking the same, so hoping I can get through it without too much time to symptom spot, go on google and test early!! Found out another friend is expecting yesterday, obviously so happy for her but immensly jelous at the prospect of watching her have a baby :( I have a friend due every month till September now so il have to practice smiling and asking the right questions and hope its my turn sometime during that!!

Any news from anyone else? X

Southsearocks · 06/03/2012 20:47

Not sure what's going on for me this month. OKPs have all been negative and I'm on day 16 Confused Usually get a positive on day 14 - do you think I could have missed it? Had EWCM at about the usual time and have been at it a lot because we've made a real effort Grin

I can't believe I'm starting to obsess about ovulating on top of everything else!

Sounds like good news for you, Bimble. Got fingers crossed...

happyhow · 06/03/2012 20:19

I ordered OPK's, pregnancy tests and a thermometer last night on account of everyone's success this month with combining everything!

Sorry about AF Cherry and hopefully it won't get you DH21 and Possom

It's little consolation to say that there is always next month as we all want to be pregnant so much, otherwise we wouldn't be putting ourselves through all this stress and frustration.

I found out about two colleagues being pregnant just after I miscarried and I'm finding it difficult at the moment. They're both just about to have their 12 week scans and I would've been having mine around now EnvySad. One of them can't stop talking about all her problems (which are obviously worse than anyone else has ever had but really aren't that bad) and the other is being very tactful which is nice.

OK, rant over!! Now for writing class reports and Wine!!!!!!!

backwardpossom · 06/03/2012 19:12

They were before the coil. I'm sure it's just my body adjusting to it being removed, but I'm cracking up a bit!

ellesabe · 06/03/2012 17:18

Ahhh possom I was in the same boat last month and sympathise. It's hideous when you don't know what's going on. Are your cycles normally regular?

OP posts:
backwardpossom · 06/03/2012 16:56

Still no sign of AF here. I wish I knew what was going on! I've ordered some OPKs and cheap tests on ebay, so hopefully I'll have more of an idea soon. I've been wearing my best knickers to try and coax the witch out!

happyhow · 06/03/2012 10:53

Well done on the will power! I usually give in quite easily, no matter how much I try! Grin

Good luck bimble! A faint line is better than nothing! Hopefully in a few days it will be even stronger...
