Hello ladies, come and share the tedious 2ww with us!

OP posts:
Winkly · 28/02/2012 15:53

Yes, due today. I've got some quite painful cramping going on, but not even a hint of redness showing. Hmmm. And ouch.

Windmill10 · 28/02/2012 15:06

Thanks for that winkly not sure if it helped or not though Grin

When are you due.....today? I think I am due between now and friday.

I am now going to POAS when I get home from work........that is if AF hasn't arrived by then! I am getting strange feelings down below though, twinges and really bad lower back ache - this of course could be AF but I'm sure I don't normally get the twinges Confused

backwardpossom · 28/02/2012 14:14

All my symptoms that I thought might be PG symptoms have disappeared. So now I am not hopeful at all and fully expect AF to arrive on Sat... 4 days of obsessing to go...

Winkly · 28/02/2012 13:21

Windmill if you fancy driving yourself even more mad, this thread did it for me.

Windmill10 · 28/02/2012 11:47

winkly your post could of quite easily have been my post Sad

At least we're are not alone Smile

DesperateHousewife21 · 28/02/2012 10:34

Keeping FX for those with BFNs but not AF, it's not over yet!

I'm feeling a bit sick today but wondering if that's because I woke at 3am from a dream. I was dragging ds across the bed Confused poor thing didn't know what was going on.

Wish I knew when I OV, it could be way too early for symptoms but then again it could be very feasible. Ho hum only a week to go Hmm

Winkly · 28/02/2012 10:27

Argh af has NOT started.

False hope is the worst hope!

MissMedusa · 28/02/2012 10:24

If I was having a normal cycle AF would be due tomorrow but I don't think I am. I vary between 27 and 30 days so I expect she'll come anywhere between tomorrow and Saturday as well. I have been feeling a little bit PG, as far as I can know what that would feel like, but I've felt this way before and wasn't and yesterdays BFN makes it unlikely. I don't think I'll be able to keep myself from POAS again tomorrow so will update again.

Fingers crossed she stays away for all of us.

AF you are not welcome here!

cherrypiew3 · 28/02/2012 10:14

I have also cracked and POAS this morning BFNSad

MissMedusa when is AF due? I am due saturday so I am thinking that it could also change.

Pogo We only dtd 2 times around ov DH works nights so it's difficult to always dtd.

This ttc business is hard

PogoBob · 28/02/2012 09:28

Sorry for everyone that's down.

AF due sometime from tomorrow to Friday as cycle length has been a bit variable recently.

POAS this morning and an emphatic BFN, not even a hint of a line. Feel miserable and certain we're out this month and getting classic AF symptoms. Not surprised, only dtd 3 times around ov and then had a week off as DH and I both ill.

Sorry for the me, me, me post. FX for BFP for everyone else

MissMedusa · 28/02/2012 08:47

Well I cracked and POAS yesterday morning and BFN :-(

I suppose it could still change but I've got a bad feeling AF will be gracing us with her ugly, horrible presence soon. I think she'll likely be late as I OV'd on CD16, at least I hope she'll be late so at least I can have a decent LP this month.

To make things a bit harder this month, 2 close friends have announced their pregnancies last week. They both just tested positive in the last couple weeks so we would have all been PG together which would have been fun.

pipsicles · 27/02/2012 22:58

Congratulations latestarter - that's great news!

Windmill, I don't want to get your hopes up if you think AF on her way, but you can get implantation spotting quite late - 10-12 days, I believe...fx.

I've no idea what's going on with me. One minute I'm convinced I am, the next minute I'm convinced I'm not! Confused I have a mountain of a zit brewing atm, so am guessing AF is going to arrive :(

Winkly, I feel your pain re neighbour. My neighbour upstairs just got a BFP the other day and if they catch you unawares, like she did, it can be really hard to say the right thing and not be so obviously disappointed or envious!

Let's hope that all those bfps are going to start bringing the rest of us luck!

backwardpossom · 27/02/2012 22:27

We dtd every couple of days around ovulation.

Congrats latestarter

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/02/2012 21:38

Is everyone dtd every other day through their cycle? Not just sticking to OV date (if you know it)?

Sorry about the AFs :(

Windmill10 · 27/02/2012 20:58

I know you're right winkly thanks for the words of wisdom Smile

It always surprises me at how gutted we get each time, even if we know AF is on her way there's always that glimmer of hope until she does!

Sending you hugs - theres nothing harder than being surrounded by pregnant women and new mummy's, I know how you feel - 2 of my best friends are pregnant and I am struggling to spend any time around them at the moment - made harder by the fact that they dont know we are ttc Sad

Lets hope that by the end of the year people will be bringing us "new baby" bags and balloons Wink

Winkly · 27/02/2012 20:38

Congratulations latestarter

windmill just hold on and see if AF starts properly in a couple of days, if not test again.

I have just had some red CM when I wiped, so it seems like AF on way. I am surprised by just how gutted I am, even though I was pretty sure it was coming. DH left for work a few minutes before I found it, I'm on my own. The people in the flat opposite have visitors traipsing in and out visiting their newborn - some of them rang our buzzer by mistake so I'm opening the door to people with "new baby" bags and balloons :(

Windmill10 · 27/02/2012 20:26

Great news - congrats latestarter Smile

I am now 12dpo and still no AF but no BFP either Sad

I had the stabbing pains on friday night and continued to cramp all weekend and then (tmi alert) got a tiny bit of brown CM last night so thought AF defo on her way but today ....NOTHING and tested this morning and BFN - I think I am losing my mind - anybody got any advice?? Confused

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/02/2012 19:59

latestarter2009 · 27/02/2012 19:32

evening all, just a quick one to let you know that amazingly I got a BFP this afternoon. Still pretty freaked out, but wanted to share the baby dust around and hope it catches. Smile

Winkly · 27/02/2012 18:00

ellesabe I know it would normally be an encouraging sign, but I have a real bargain-basement stomach and throw up at the drop of a hat, and all my PMT symptoms have presented themselves, so I'm not at all hopeful.

I think I'll be buying the OPKs sedgie has kindly linked to if when AF comes in the morning.

Chair enjoy your wine and forbidden foods. I've stopped drinking (and my jeans are gratifyingly looser as a result!) but have bought some lovely creamy goat's cheese for salads later in the week :)

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/02/2012 15:20

Lol yeh we have been quite busy this month!

Went to a group at a surestart centre (I go every mon) so that took my mind off things.

Only 4 hours to go til ds' bedtime, then I've got the eve to myself ahh!

ellesabe · 27/02/2012 13:43

Sorry winkly, it's not that I like the idea of you throwing up, I just mean it's an encouraging sign!

OP posts:
ellesabe · 27/02/2012 13:42

chair Sad I had that last month and it sucks. It's so hard being back to square 1.

dh21 the amount you guys have been at it, I wouldn't worry about skipping dtd for one evening! Grin

winkly we've all got our fingers crossed for you! Grin at throwing up toast!

ChairOfTheBored · 27/02/2012 12:32

I wait no more. Day 35 and AF is here after teasing me with a 7 day delay. Wine and forbidden foods at the ready. Sad
