Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

cherrypiew3 · 01/03/2012 10:11

Congratulations Mrsc

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/03/2012 08:53

Oh mrsc what wonderful news. Huge congratulations. Our first board BFP. Yay Grin

Hopefully you'll start a trend!

TheNewMrsC · 01/03/2012 08:23

Ok so I think I just got my BFP ?????????Confused

I took an eBay cheapie with FMU and there is a faint but definite line !!! Af not due til Monday tho so trying not to believe it yet !!!!

Chunkychicken · 29/02/2012 23:05

Ok, so the tender breast issue I've discovered since starting TTC, where boobs ache from mid-cycle until just before AF seems to have made an appearance again, but a bit after ovulation, rather than just before Confused Going to make the 2WW 'interesting' - plays havoc with the genuine symptom spotting Hmm

Chunkychicken · 29/02/2012 22:18

That's unfortunate MrsTwinks but I don't think the baby top gave him the food poisoning!!! Grin You never know, it might work out... fingers crossed for you.

MrsTwinks · 29/02/2012 22:02

Sorry missmedusa, that sucks.

Well dh's banning me from mumsnet for out holiday hasn't worked, poor dear has terrible food poisoning so I think there goes baby this month too as today is meant to be premo time Sad before he got ill I did crack and buy the sweetest baby top so guess I jinxed us. Sad

CandyPop · 29/02/2012 19:02

Sorry to hear miss medusa. Best of luck for the next cycle!!

TheNewMrsC · 29/02/2012 15:02

Aw sorry medusa !! Just think of it as the beginning of a new cycle . Sometimes af are a good thing at least the two weeks of not knowing are over even if it's not the end you wanted . It's taken me a good few months to think like that but now that's the way I try to look at it .

Sorry to hear that MissMedusa but bon voyage for your next flight and all fingers and toes crossed for you!

Chunkychicken · 29/02/2012 13:09

Best of luck MissMedusa - sorry AF arrived so punctually (or is it a relief not to be late w/out being pg, iyswim??!!). Good you get a BFP soon.

MissMedusa · 29/02/2012 13:06

[grabs parachute and dives head first out of plane]

Sorry ladies, I'm off this flight. AF was surprisingly and worryingly punctual this time.

Good luck to every one else, hopefully I won't see any of you on the next flight as you'll all have wonderful BFP's!

PandaWatch · 29/02/2012 10:25

I'm sure you're right to count from then MrsC - I think I was just clutching at straws hoping to justify POAS a couple of days earlier!

So I read somewhere about the power of visualising fertilisation and now can't stop thinking about the opening scene from Look Who's Talking and constantly have the Beach Boys "I Get Around" stuck in my head. I made the mistake of telling DH this this morning and got this Hmm face...

Chunkychicken · 29/02/2012 07:36

Hi Candy, hope you enjoy the flight!!

So I chucked on my sexy Ann summers negligee and tried to seduce DH. I didn't say anything about 'having' to etc so he didn't realise how important it was to me, & promptly fell asleep. Well not quite, but I swear I heard a little snore as I tried kissing places... :(

So fingers crossed I'm super fertile after the chem pg, & that his boys are the Olympic athletes they were 2.5yrs ago when concieving my DD and we get a proper sticky bean BFP this month. We've only managed 2 in a row over my fertile period, but I guess it only takes 1 sperm... Not holding out much hope TBH. I don't feel like we've tried hard enough iyswim. Can't even rectify the situation tonight as DH is away with work & if the OPK was anything to go by, I won't be fertile on Thursday. Ah well, there's always next month, for a nice Christmas present!!

How do you manage 6 nights in a row MrsC??!!! Work, commuting, DD all scupper our plans...Confused

TheNewMrsC · 28/02/2012 22:41

Yes !!!!! Grin

Hi candy !! welcome to the crazy plaaaaane !!! GrinGrin

I feel like I've been asleep most of this flight hardly been on but been so busy which has been good it's kept me fairly sane this month !!

Yes dtd can be a lot of work while ttc! DH and I normally start of with good intentions but it fritters away but this month we have been really good ! We managed 6 days in a row during the fertile window !! Grin

I'm the same I'm only using an app but I have pretty reliable cm so that combined with my app is enough for me .

If your feeling undereducated now you won't soon ! Google will be your beat friend ad you will soon know more than your gp about getting pg !!!Grin

Pipbin · 28/02/2012 22:28

Welcome aboard CandyPop
Admitting that you are TTCing is a bit like admitting to being an alcoholic isn't it. It seems real when you say it out loud.

Oh and Chunky, we are all in first class on this flight, there is no economy.

sheepishly stepping on

After months of lurking around on Mumsnet and WTTC i cant resist anymore and wondered if you ladies are willing to welcome one more on this busy bumbling packed flight? :)

This is my cycle #1 cd17, AF due 13th March, trying for my first (how am i doing with the lingo??!)

Still feel a bit under-educated on the whole conception process compared to some other ladies on here......Found myself browsing one of the aisle in Boots today looking at pregnancy tests.... to only realise that you can only test a couple days before AF is due :-/ On the bright side, I just worked out what 2WW is!!! i guess i am a 2WWer (..is that right?! ) lol

I agreed with DH that we will take the lets just see what happens approach for the first 6 months.... but i find myself secretly obssessing over it!! I dont want to scare off DH , but i cant help researching baby names (although to be fair , this has been in discussing for the pass 5 years with DH shooting down every single name i come up with!).

DH doesnt really know, but the increased in 'activities' the last week is due to coincide with my fertile days (currently just using an iphone app... not sure how accurate it is)....... I also find myself , cunningly trying to entice DH to DTD with all sorts.... new sexy underwear, new positions even dabble in a bit of dirty talk Blush !!!! I feel slightly deceitful but i'm sure dh is not stupid but just enjoying my new found enthuaism in the bedroom!!

Anyone else finding that they have to be more inventive in the bedroom in order to keep DTD so regularly?! and (although i know the answer) anyone else find that this is the only thing they can think about??!!!! (just want some reasurrance that i'm not going crazy!)

WOW.... just realised how long my post is! SORRY!!! thats what happens when you've been lurking around for so long!!! :)

TheNewMrsC · 28/02/2012 21:28

lol @ Panda !! Grin

TheNewMrsC · 28/02/2012 21:27

Thanks beaker and chunky !! i had implantation bleeding with dd but it was pink and gloopy and it was accompanied by excruciating cramps that made me vomit !! wasnt trying this dd though so i dont know when it was but i think it was just before af should have appeared.

just do it tonight chunky you might as well :) have some fun sex rather than swi and maybe you will relax a bit - even if it is just for 5 seconds ;)

Chunkychicken · 28/02/2012 21:19

I agree with beakers, MrsC, I think implantation takes between 6-10 on average. Could be a good sign :)

Beakersbelle · 28/02/2012 20:41

MrsC I don't know about the colour that implantation bleeding's supposed to be (I've never had it with my pregnancies) but I'm pretty certain 8 dpo is actually the average day for implantation - so sounds promising!

TheNewMrsC · 28/02/2012 20:16

panda I count my 2ww from ov day if that's any help??

Ok I have a (tmi) question ! Twice I've went to the bathroom today and there have been bright red spots of blood . Thought it might be implantation but I'm sure that's either pink or brown ? Plus I'm only 8 dpo so would that be too early for implantation ? Thanks guys Smile

Chunkychicken · 28/02/2012 15:36

Love it Pandawatch Grin
