Candy I've had lots of dull aches & twinges, but nothing as strong as AF cramps. Keep getting paranoid about every little twinge though, as keeping expecting the worst... although clearly nothing to expect just yet because I haven't tested . May cave in tomorrow morning though. Fingers crossed for you though & will try to think of anti-AF devices!!

I am BLOATED this evening after eating junk all day - look 4mths gone!!! I have also been feeling dizzy, sick and generally knackered, but glad to have every symptom iyswim.

Candy I had normal AF cramps leading up to my BFP with DS... I was so convinced I hadn't got pregnant that I got pissed had a drink or 2 at a party

Due today, no period but neg test this afternoon. Do I still have to use FMU if I'm not testing early?

Ah I can hear AF sniffing around and trying to get through . Seriously AF cramps today :(

In fact I don't normally get that bad AF cramps but this time round I can really feel it. Maybe cause I never used to take notice of it?!

for those who had a BFP or about to at chunky .... Do u still get AF cramps around when it's due?!

Oh no MummyNickleby that's bad luck. At least you can eat vast quantities of choc, drink masses of wine & stop symptom spotting for a wee while. Oh and get yourself a sports bra!! Good luck for next month :)

My free Fertitility Friend superior thing has ended and now my nice easy to read calendar isn't easy to read anymore. I liked to know what CD I was on at a glance. Especially as I'm a girl who spots and the like. How very annoying! I'm not upgrading. I mean what would be the point with me PROBABLY getting pregnant this month. Such a waste of money that would be .

I have to admit my short LP is worrying. i will need a talented and gifted zygote sperm/egg combo (ignorant biologicall,y moi?) to travel and implant in less than 8 days before AF rears ugly head. Perhaps my little Zygote will be the very youngest every member of those talented and gifted threads, achieving such fast amazing implantation. Seriously I am worried about that. On a positive note my spotting has arrived 5 days prior to AF for the last 2 months, so should be here by now. No sign yet.

mrstwinks u have to be strong 2mo and resist! As someone who has cracked .... Testing early causes my problems then it solves!!!! Resist if my can, but I'd u do, don't use sainsbury's !!! Lol I mean what sort of tests has the risk of giving fake positive

Evening ladies! I've snoozed through most of the flight, can never keep my eyes open on a plane! Congratulations to Eliza on the BFP and chunky on the house and DH job!

Spent the weekend with friends who have the cutest little girl. She is 19 months old and DH and I are completely smitten! We are now talking about decorating a room for a baby, all we need is a BFP. Charting temps and CM, DTD every other day, think I'll ov tomorrow. Not much more we can do, it really should be easier than this!

Off to open what I hope is one of my last ever bottles of . I'll make it a good one just in case...

Ah so I googled sainsbury's test and it doesn't look good. Apparently a lot of ppl seem to get false faint positives from them :(

I did go out and a first response test

BUT I will hold out as long as possible as AF is due imminently so I might as well wait and see if that comes first :(

I think implantation occurs between 6-10dpo so any bleeding that would happen is likely to appear around then, maybe a tad later, because it has to 'work its way out'. If it is implantation bleeding, you won't get a BFP until the hCG in your blood is high enough, so in a couple of days.

Also, don't want to dishearten you but you won't really get symptoms until implantation, because the symptoms are caused by increased hormone levels and presence of hCG in the blood. So if it is implantation, the symptoms are prob related to something else...

But no way to know until AF/BFP. Fingers crossed x

Chunky congrats on the house - very exciting and the Not testing!

I haven't been awake much of this flight but now in need of miniatures from the trolley. So this 2ww I have had lots of symptoms mainly feeling nauseous every morn for last 5/6 days and little cramps & twinges since then. Boobs getting sorer & bigger by the day (don't usually have this Pre af) and 3 dreams in row I was pregnant. So last night were staying at friends - a welcome distraction from the 2ww last night lots pinky/light brown cm on tp and again this morn. Af not due til weds and usually regular. Then wide awake after 2 hours for most of night - just felt pregnant. V hot this morn (stupidly forgot bbt thermometer!) so couldn't check temp for 2nd rise..... (I'm hoping)

So now I'm thinking this could be implantation bleeding? Got home and did an ic with smu and got bfn :(

Have shuttered door and windows and guess the next couple of days will tell if early af or bfp. We are ttc#1 and never been pg before so any advice other peeps can give re timing of poss imp bleed and poas would be fab.

Candypop I would avoid those 'cross' style tests like the plague personally. I like it to be either a line or no line. Try Superdrug or Wilkinsons, they're sensitive ones. Fingers crossed and feeling exactly the same about barricading doors & windows... :)

mrstwinks yes i think if you are expecting AF to come on the 17th then you are probably testing to soon.

well, i cracked again! lol

I just wanted to make sure that i wasnt seeing things and/or first stick was a dud SO i opened another, this time used the pee in the container than dip in method. When i opened new stick I had a good old look to make sure that there wasnt any line at all.

THEN timed EXACTLY 20 secs, replaced lid, placed on flat surface and walked away. TIMED another 3 minutes before checking.

There is definitely a very faint line. The same as before ...... barely there , but it is there.

Still dont want to raise too much hope and as i dont have anymore sticks, i'm not going to be able to test again until i actually go buy some more. (Havent and not going to tell DH i did another one!)

Gonna leave it for 3 days and maybe test again on wednesday. By that time it would either be CD1 /CD3 of my new cycle (based on my recent shortest and longest cycles).

candy I would give it a day or two maybe and try again. It's possible it's a dud or that the hgc levels are really low so barely registering. I gave in and no line but I think I cracked too soon.

Hmmm so I did the test just now and the results are inconclusive !!!! The control and negative line came out almost immediately and very dark. Couple minutes later I noticed a very faint positive line. When I mean faint, I mean ver very faint, dh checked and confirmed I wasnt seeing things.

Just wondered as it's sainsbury's cheapy one, 2 for £4.50 meant the stupid positive line is always like that?!?! Although quite sure it wasn't at first but now doubting myself!!!

Ah this was meant to ease my mind one way of the other!!!!

Def still have AF like cramps this morning

Can't take it anymore.... Gonna poas for the very first time 2mo! Mild cramps are still here, suspicionsly very similar to AF cramps so not expecting much from results .... I just need to know either way ! Fingers crossed for a miracle !!!

I'm lurking on here since my first post.... AF is due Wed (but might be any time Tues - Fri) so if it's not here in a week then I can do a test...
My boobs really hurt with DS and they have been for a week or so but... I've started going to the gym and it might just be nipple chaffing from not owning a sports bra
Anyway, my hormones are def doing something as I've been a bit angry / impatient but that's normal for this time of the month....
