Welcome aboard ladies.
Please be seated, you may undo your seatbelts as soon as you see the SWI sign light up.

I'll be coming round with cake, biscuits and wine.

Come on girls, we can do it this month.

Heads held high and legs akimbo, off we go.

Congratulations candy!

CM question, I had ridiculous amounts of EWCM on Saturday, that was day 14. Since then I've had much smaller amounts but it's still stretchy. I would usually ov around day 18 but I have been all over the place recently. Can you have small amounts of EWCM after ovulation, or does it just stop? I have tingly nipples today so I checked to see if I could've ovulated early and I think it might be possible...

My temp has also steadily increased since then but only by small increments, not the big spike I've seen in online examples. Does anyone else have similar charts?

LimeLeafLizard · 15/03/2012 12:41

Panda, that makes sense. I had that last time which was very worrying at the time, but all went well in the end. I'm certain my AF is real now though - Sad.

Hooray that you've decided to POAS along with the gang on Saturday! We are away at PILs so I will have to find a way to log on and check the BFPs coming in!!

Crazytictac · 15/03/2012 12:29

Oooh, yay panda we can be pee buddies on Sat along with pickled and chunky. Anyone else?!

PandaWatch · 15/03/2012 11:02

LimeLeafLizard - decidual bleeding is different from implantation bleeding and I think is what happens when women think they're still having periods when they're pregnant as it is more period-like than implantation bleeding.

I've decided to POAS on Saturday as I'm hoping that, given that lots of others are testing then, some positivity from all those BFPs will rub off Grin

I was feeling really nauseous yesterday. I was reading on the tube home and got to a very slightly gruesome bit of my book and had to stop reading because I felt like I was going to throw up! It wasn't that bad at all and I'm not generally a sick-y type person and have certainly never felt ill from reading a book!

LimeLeafLizard · 15/03/2012 10:56

Right I bought some Vit B complex this morning based on Pipbin's recommendation and I am feeling more positive... determined to succeed on the next flight.

Going to make a nice dinner tonight, feed DH up so he has plenty of energy for once AF has left.

Mummynickleby we had the same sort of discussion, too. In the long run, I think children benefit more from having a sibling than extra holidays. I understand the school dilemma, is there any chance of you moving to an area with better schools? Anyhow you have a relaxed approach to TTC now!

Crazytictac · 15/03/2012 08:13

Sorry cejay about AF. A tiny consolation is maybe that at least you weren't late or kept waiting, AF had the decency to at least come a bit early and not be a tease. Good luck for next month

mummynickleby your husband sounds like mine! Identical discussion about hols and same school issue. However when I had my chemical pregnancy last year, DH initial reaction on finding out i was pregnant was genuine delight. And I really really really would love another baby.

pickled I'm a bit nervous for Sat now. Trying (and failing )not to get my hopes up!

MummyNickleby · 14/03/2012 23:32

AF is still not doing much Confused
Could almost get away with not using a pad... I don't doubt that it's AF but I wonder if it really is as I'm not in pain at all Hmm
DH and I had a chat this evening & he's having doubts: 5 years of belt tightening (until LO goes to school) or not having another and go to Florida next year etc.
I see his point but it's only really really tight for 3 years (until help with nursery fees) and quite tight for another 2...
He wonders if it's not fair on DS.
I'm on the fence, I'd love another baby but I'd also like to have some "play money" (and a holiday occasionally).
We'd be tempted to send DS to public school (local one is utter shite) but if we had 2 we'd never be able to afford it.

I also remember worrying about money before DS, but we coped & I know we would again. It's just hard as our home needs lots of work etc... Oh what to do?!!

I think we should let fate decide: try for 6 months but no ovulation sticks etc... If it happens great, if it doesn't.. Watch out Mickey Mouse, we are coming in 2013 Wink

Pipbin · 14/03/2012 22:13

Of course Candy the list is the statically likely number of BFPs. That doesn't mean that it's the maximum we can have just the most likely number. I bet we can beat it.

LimeLeafLizard · 14/03/2012 22:11

Cejay sorry to hear AF is visiting you too. But Santa's sleigh will roll up soon.

Pipbin, love the new stats... if all goes well and you get your BFP we'll have to use your approach to stats on the next flight... think of it as your legacy! Smile

It is great to still have the moral support of the BFPs for a bit longer!

CandyPop · 14/03/2012 21:55

Thank you everyone for your lovely words.

Sorry to hear that AF has come for a few more of you, wishing you a BFP next month in time for christmas :)

And those who are 2ww..... well there is still plenty of room on the list and most definitely extendable, so don't by shy and come join us! xx

cherrypiew3 · 14/03/2012 21:11

Panda go on POAS at least that way it will put your mind at rest.

Cejay sorry AF got you wishing you luck for next month.

Pipbin like the listSmile

Looking forward to Saturday ladies when all them BFP's come flooding in just make sure you leave some room for me on the list.

Have come down with a flu bug and feel awful swi is the last thing on my mind hope I feel better for the weekend think that's when the big O is suppose to happen and don't want to miss the boat.

bettergetamoveon · 14/03/2012 21:03

Aw sorry to those of you who had had the horrible visit from AF. Congratulations to the 4 AFs so far! Love the new chart Pipbin! Panda, hope the weirdness ends up being good news for you. YOu should POAS so you can either celebrate or board the christmas sleigh.

I tried so hard to be really cool about it all this month but now I'm started to get obsessed by it all again and a little bit excited. I HATE this feeling. The utter disappointment and deflated feeling at the end of the month. If only we could all switch our feelings off whilst TTC, it would all be so much easier wouldn't it? Af due Friday, but I've been optimistic for a 28 day cycle and put on the chart Sunday. If AF doesn't show (what's the chances) I really don't think I'll be POAS until Monday.

Chunkychicken · 14/03/2012 20:48

Bad luck cejay better luck next time - enjoy the choc :)

Cejay8 · 14/03/2012 19:57

Arggggh AF got me this afternoon 3 days early Angry. At least it got me before I POAS. I wasn't that hopeful as was sick mid cycle but still very disappointed Sad. Also I've never had a 25 day cycle before they are always 28.....hmmm

Well done to those with BFPs and I'm sure they'll be several more yet Smile

I'd like to reserve a seat on the Santa sleigh please! I need chocolate tonight (just sent DH out to acquire some)Grin

So I was feeling a bit more cheerful and then I read your kind commiserations about AF and am weepy again.

Panda have you POAS yet? I have never heard it called 'decidual bleeding' before, but I kind of get why, like deciduous trees.

Funnily enough, my AF has been lighter than usual to date, and I had the same thought as you, but have decided it has to be AF. I watched "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" the other day, too!

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 17:22

Yeay, Pee-day Saturday all round then ladies :) finger crossed Chunky, although you've already secured yours :) lucky lady :)

Chunkychicken · 14/03/2012 17:04

I'll join you in the hopefully completely superfluous POAS-ing on Saturday too. It's a crazy reassurance thing, plus uses up all my sticks... Grin

There will be lots of BFP announcements on Saturday, I'm sure :)

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 16:32

Crazy Ooooh there's hope for you saturday then :) I'm gonna give saturday a go too :) x

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 16:30

I know what you mean, if it wasn't my sister I'd never have believed it (I never believed the stories I'd heard before either esp the ones who didn't know until they were in the loo and a baby fell out?! Lol).

Chants - POAS POAS POAS POAS you have to know either way, for the rollarcoasters :) x

Crazytictac · 14/03/2012 16:27

pickled I've told myself im going to test next Monday but there is a high chance of me cracking earlier, say Saturday. Can't do Sunday as it will be the ultimate kick in the face if it's a BFN. On the benefit of doubt that I ovulated say last Mon/tues I'll be approx 11 days DPO on Sat. With my DS I tested 4-5 days early and the pregnancy line flashed up before the control line had finished so I'm hoping the same luck applies again.

panda that is a dilemma! Not much use asking me as I have zero self control on these matters so am very biased towards the poas propaganda :o.

PandaWatch · 14/03/2012 16:19

Argh! Now you're just encouraging me

See PickledHegg when I hear stories like yours, with it being your sister rather than "a friend of a friend who read about someone who said..." it does give me hope! I think I'm going to wait for DH to come back on Sunday and if I'm still getting cramps and boob pains then I'm going to get a stick to PO! Fingers crossed for you too (although obviously given that, unlike me, you're still awaiting AF rather than being in denial about it your chances are much better!)

PickledHegg · 14/03/2012 16:05

Panda I swear its just propaganda put about by the Stick-Makers! - PMSL, best line I've read for a while!

If I were you, I'd have to POAS, last year my sister didn't know she was pregnant until she POAS, thought 4wks preg, had pains, rushed in for an "early" scan and found out she was 6 months gone, had periods as normal all through!

Florida? How lovely, I'm jealous! :)

Chunky I had sold myself short thinking AF was imminent this month...due to your gorgeous BFP and your symptoms, I'm starting to imagine notice all the things you've pointed out :) Well fingers crossed and I shall see Sunday if I manage to steer around my tests until then!

PandaWatch · 14/03/2012 15:30

No Chunky - I'd have to go and buy some sticks. Gah! I know I'm probably just imagining things. I stumbled across a programme called "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" the other day which has given me all sorts of false hope. I swear its just propaganda put about by the Stick-Makers!

So unless I get any other symptoms I'm going to try my best to be sensible and not waste a stick.

Chunkychicken · 14/03/2012 15:19

Have you got any cheap sticks on which to P Pandawatch? I've never had a bleed during pg so can't say for sure, but have had some freaky things occur for no good reason when TTC so it could be an unusal AF or the other. If you don't believe it was AF, then POAS if only to stop the 'what if's...

Sorry AF's visiting Limeleaf better luck next month & a lovely Christmas present.

And all those symptom-plotters - I had dull cramps, very gentle twinges really, across back or front on & off for about a week, which would be ~9dpo. Before the cramps, I had a MAJOR dizzy spell which was so big I swear I thought the room moved!!! That has happened regularly since then, with a sick feeling too. So who knows?
