Generic I had an ectopic when I was about 19, didn?t know I was pregnant til it got to 9 weeks and ruptured taking the whole tube with it. Nearly killed me! Was very scary?

Hello sparkle nice to meet you [btw I use an old suntan lotion bottle cap instead of a ramekin! It?s very innocuous and not out of place in the bathroom]

Hello everyone else Grin I?m a tad delicate after another work-y awards do last night so am reading you all but will not be able to remember anything long enough to comment individually Blush

I have declared March a booze-free month, someone said somewhere on MN that your body starts preparing for each cycle before the last one ends so am CD12 now [stupid 6 days late last period means I?m totally out of sync with you all now Sad ] and following my hycosy on Tuesday I am going to be popping out super-eggs for the next couple of cycles ? not that it matters of course as I'm already nearly 2 weeks pg Grin

Back on propoints too. I just found a pic of me when I was 18 and I had beautiful skinny little twig like arms Sad. I lost 5lbs doing 26 points a couple of weeks ago ? I've lost anoth 1-2lbs since then so going in the right direction, I just want to be a proper size 12 again really, not says12butreallymeans14andswopshangerswhenOHisn?tlooking Grin

froot OMG CDWHAT??? That?s pants!

imps by paying for a years subscription to FF you have bought your BFP, that is a given, just like popcorn did with her CBFM Wink

Excellent, thanks Stasi!

Quick post to say Imps to remove the temp ribbon I think you should: go to 'My Chart' link at the side, then the Analysis menu at the top, and select 'Temperature Ribbon', on the page that loads there should be a button there for 'Post on Home Page' and (if it is this that's showing it) next to it 'Delete from Home Page'.

Imps7 · 01/03/2012 14:27

Well at least raise the grievances Sweetie - the more of you who do, the better.

Thanks Sparks! My last two temps have been way higher than usual since I'm poorly sick

Imps we have been told we have to pay monthly up front by standing order for the parking Shock

SweetieDoesIt · 01/03/2012 14:15

Thanks Ladies for the charting tips. I will continue as I am. But of course that won't be much longer cos I will be getting my BFP - yeah!!!

Imps7 · 01/03/2012 14:14

Sweetie that is an outrage. I hope that all of you will be raising grievances, telling them clearly that you do not authorise them to deduct the amounts from your pay and that you consider them to be seeking to enforce a material and fundamental change to your terms and conditions of employment? If not - you all should be!

Whilst we're sharing charts, here's mine I wish I knew how to get rid of that bloody temperature ribbon from my homepage - I really hate it - it looks angry and makes me feel stressed! I find it really interesting that since I handed my notice in at work, ovulation has moved forward by about 2 days (from day 19 on average to day 16/17 in the last two cycles)

The saliva ferning kit sounds really exciting - I'd read about it on FF and fancied having a go - let us know how you get on Sparks!

Sorry - chart bit was directed at sweetie ! :)

PopcornMouseInBoots · 01/03/2012 14:02

Your chart looks good to me, too, sparkle - I agree with stasi though that you shouldn't need OPKs with a CBFM, as it looks for the same hormone as an OPK iyswim :)

Stasi · 01/03/2012 13:59

Your chart is looking good. I sometimes wake up an hour or so before the alarm, but get back to sleep quick enough that I don't think it makes a difference. The 'rule' is 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep, if you're awake from say 5-6, and your alarm goes off at 7, then you should probably use the earlier temps. If your alarm is more like 8 then you could use the later one - probably.

FF will put circles for temps not taken at your usual time, and dots for normal ones. I think it then uses a weighting algorithm to determine how much importance it should assign to circle temps i.e. if a circle temp is way out of line with the surrounding ones, it'll ignore it when placing your ovulation crosshairs.

However, this is all guesswork on my part!

Stasi · 01/03/2012 13:54

I thought the CBFM was the epitome of tracking? Why do you need ov sticks to go with it? I've looked at the ferning kits before, they're interesting, but I've never really heard of people using them so not sure how accurate they are.

SweetieDoesIt · 01/03/2012 13:51

Stasi on the temping front a quick question. I am not a great sleeper so some days I wake up at 5am and then wriggle for about an hour drop back off before the alarm goes off. I have taken my temps twice some days, at 5am and when the alarm goes off. Which should I use in FF? It gives me a circle rather than a dot for the earlier ones, hope I am making sense. Does it really matter as my chart seem to look ok. my chart
Thanks thanks for the help xx

And sweetie that's soooooo much money! I had to work out how much they'll get a month, it's like £400,000! Shock

PopcornMouseInBoots · 01/03/2012 13:43

What's a saliva ferning kit?!

Stasi FertilityFriend has a preggo tracker once you graduate, and it tells you on that and also in my pregnancy diary some weeks :)

Sorry whims !

Wow Sweetie that's awful. It can't be costing them that much to provide the parking facilities, so why charge that much? It's basically a pay cut for all commuters!

Secret Buy yourself some Gu chocolate puddings or similar. That's where I get my ramekins from. You should be fine to start temping again now - though make sure you do it the second you get up! Don't wait for that 'just one snooze' or you might not get a neat chart. Ofc, you might not get one anyway, some people don't (but luckily I do).

Popcorn woo for your little grape! Did you have a can recently, or is there an app giving you the sizes?

Ack the ache :( Still no news here, half way through the 2ww, no symptoms. At all. Totally preggers right? :)

SweetieDoesIt · 01/03/2012 12:13

Poor Imps feeling any better now?

I hadn't thought of 2 pounds a week, but yes I suppose it is ok, it has sort of come off in chunks rather than evenly.

We are up in arms at work, they have just announced we will be charged £36 a month for parking in the onsite car park. This is across the whole organisations 12 000 parking spaces. It is just money grabbing pure and simple. I am really angry about it as there is no street parking around the offices I work in. There is a big supermarket about a mile away but I am sure they will wise up pretty quickly when their car park is full everyday.

whimsicalname · 01/03/2012 11:33

Morning all
Welcome secret
Sweetie, imps is right, half a stone is great. You'll be far more likely to keep it off if you go at a steady rate, and that still averages nearly 2 pounds a week.

My strategy is to lose about 8 pounds over 5 weeks, doing cabbage soup (3 in first week, always easiest) and then 2 the next, and one each the 3 after that. Good for you for getting on with it.

pop I was eating grapes while I read that. It's put me right off!

need to go and put a baby to bed. Hope everyone else is having a good day.
