:o :o cupcakes
One of my cats once bit me (he never ever bites DH) and I took it really personally and I cried Blush DH has never let me live it down...

CupcakesAndCocktails · 16/03/2012 12:44

Pop I'm ashamed to say I nearly kicked my dog out of the house once Blush
She was just a puppy at the time. I swear she had it in for me Grin I woke up from a night shift to find that she had managed to open the baby gate and get upstairs. She had destroyed my GHDs, a new hat and scarf and a pair of new shoes. All my stuff of course, nothing of DH's. I was so mad I opened the front door and told her to get out

The little sod ran to my DH whimpering Hmm and got lots of cuddles off him. I swear she was laughing at me!!!

Maybe PIAR already or I'm gonna beat you up BESH style too!

Bartlet I remember your heroic efforts to get your BFP. I always think of you if I'm feeling poorly and not wanting to smack that rat. Hope that's not too weird Blush

PopcornMouseInBoots · 16/03/2012 12:22

:o far I have been eating for England since my BFP too - I have gained 5lbs, which the MW kindly said might just be retained water (it's not) :o :o

Yay for having a nice boss! Mine is nice too but I don't work very closely with her so I'm waiting for my scan :)

:o cup I thought you said you'd walked out on your pup, and I was all Shock I wonder what he's done? :o
I'm totally with you on the magpie thing - it's a dead cert

BartletForAmerica · 16/03/2012 12:16

Maybe, you mean to tell us that you haven't PIAR yet?! Get on with it, woman! You are welcome to the Bartlet Award. I had forgotten about it but it has brought a smile to my face. Smile

Far, don't worry about not telling your mum if you don't want to. I don't think I will next time. With DD, she had told the world and his wife, all her friends and acquaintances, because she thought it didn't matter. When it all went a bit wrong, I hated the idea of all these people who didn't know me talking about it, when she didn't even bother being in touch with us very much at all. Next time, I'll wait until 12 weeks at least.

musical, can't believe you have so little work now! Time has flown by!

I've been out walking my pup. On our way we saw 2 magpies, then we saw 3. I translated this as a BFP and a girl bean. Hurrah it's official! Grin

GenericDietCola · 16/03/2012 11:22

Yeah Maybe get peeing! The tea loaf is very nice by the way.

Far you must keep eating and feeding Farfette! Don't tell your mum if you're not ready, but then I'm sure she will understand either way.

Pop have fun with your exotic parents!

Olives I saw 3 magpies this morning - how many more signs do we need?

CupcakesAndCocktails · 16/03/2012 10:19

PIAR PIAR PIAR!!! come on Maybe you know you want to.

farfallarocks · 16/03/2012 10:17

maybe no symptoms=preggo
FACT

I can't stop eating, I have had 3 breakfasts already Blush

Had a breakfast meeting with my boss this morning and at the end she said, 'I noticed you were not drinking coffee, good news I hope?'
I said I had given it up for lent and she just winked at me.
Busted I think!!!
Never mind, I like her and she is very nice.

I am meant to be having a boozy lunch with my mum on Mother's Day, I might say I am hungover but that feels a bit rude so I might just tell her if I am brave enough, not sure really.

olives I hope the steroids are not affecting you too badly

Who is next to test then

musicalmrs · 16/03/2012 10:17

I upgraded from a bag to an icing syringe - purely because every time I tried to pipe with the bag I ended up with icing all over my hands, and the bag got greasy and hard to manage. I am well aware that many people are wonderful with icing bags... I'm just clearly not compatible! Grin The icing syringe is much much better, but there's still room for improvement.

Having seen your cake creations Maybe, I imagine your piping is stunning, and will be even more so after the course!

I'm good thanks Maybe! Counting down the days until maternity leave... 10! And only 6 of teaching!. House is slowly getting there, we've had the contract through to sign, but I think it's all being held up by other people in the chain. Wish they'd give us an estimated date of completion so we'd have a date to dream about, rather than being clueless like now!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/03/2012 10:09

Grin Pop

Musical how are you? How's the house? DH thinks I am good at piping, but I am too much of a perfectionist, so I think I am crap Grin

PopcornMouseInBoots · 16/03/2012 10:01

Last time I tried piping, my bag exploded and I got covered in icing Confused

musicalmrs · 16/03/2012 09:59

You know you want to..!

Insanely jealous of your cupcake decorating course too! I try my best, but my piping skills leave a lot to be desired. More practice required, clearly.. Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/03/2012 09:26

Ah, sounds like you have a lovely weekend planned Pop

Olives that does sound like a good dream Wink Sounds like you have a good Sunday planned.

I think my body is just playing silly buggers, going to have to ride this one out me thinks though I can always secretly hope for an ironic BFP

PopcornMouseInBoots · 16/03/2012 09:15

Oh olives that sounds like a lovely dream! I dreamed I was heavily pg and DH went to the pub (we don't drink pints of milk :o ) and never came back! Shock

My parents are back from living abroad (for a week) - first time I've seen them in a year, so we're going to my sister's for mother's day roast, and one of my brother's is coming too which will be lovely :)

PopcornMouseInBoots · 16/03/2012 09:12

I had no symptoms when I got my BFP, maybe! POAS! POAS! :o

GreenOlives · 16/03/2012 09:09

Smegs, so sorry to hear about your results, what a horrible shock that must have been. Like the other rat smackers have said please don't think this rules out a natural pregnancy because it really only does take one good one. However when you are feeling a bit stronger then you can start looking into IVF so you're armed with information ready for your appointment in April.

Generic BFP on a number plate you say? And I saw 2 magpies yesterday, how much luckier could we get?! BFP's all round for the brookers! Grin

Maybe PIAR already! You know how we love an ironic BFP!

Day out sounds lovely Bean, pity the carrot cake didn't work but as Maybe says it was all in the name of science Wink

Day 4 of the steroids here, have been having REALLY vivid dreams, one of them was naughty but nice if you know what I mean Wink Blush but otherwise no other side effects thus far so am keeping fingers crossed! Have got to do lots of boring household chores today as I'm back to work tomorrow then I'm cooking for all the family on Sunday What's everyone else up to at the weekend?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/03/2012 08:07

Haha, I like your thinking Biscuits Grin I do have a whole bag of IC, I am amazed that I have had such self restraint these last few cycles - they are all still there!

I thought that about delayed ov too, just never known it to be delayed so long. Think I may have broken myself this month Smile

Biscuitsandtea · 16/03/2012 07:56

Oh goodness you totally get the Bartlet award, and thus the guaranteed BFP that goes with it! Grin

I suppose the being ill could have delayed ov?

Is it not worth a confirmatory PIAR though? if for no other reason than a BFP would mean you could stop the rat smacking do you have any ICs?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/03/2012 07:48

Biscuits it feels as though I have been smacking the rat forever Grin Grin Every other day

Interesting Biscuits Hmm But I have no symptoms whatsoever, despite feeling sicky, which is probably just the antibiotics. I have had an anovulatory cycle once, but It wasn't long, I just started spotting around day 20 which continued for 10 days, then I had a normal cycle. Very bizarre.

this is my messy chart

Biscuitsandtea · 16/03/2012 07:38

Morning brookers Smile

Thank you all for asking after us. All going ok I think in the biscuit household. Ds1 seems good with ds2 (so far at least) and some sleep is being had (well by ds1 and DH at least, not so much me Grin)

So, Maybe, the cycle I got my BFP, my chart looked really odd and the monitor thing I had (the Duofertility thing, which did basically the same job as FF) couldn't decide if I'd ovulated or not. It said I had ovulated at one time then said I hadn't, then said I'd ovulated later, then they couldn't work it out and then they said maybe it was anovulatory. Well that 'non-ovulation' is squeaking away in the crib next to me Grin. I take it you've been smacking the rat anyway?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/03/2012 07:31

Grin Sparks I really don't think so, ff says I haven't ovulated Sad

Biscuits so lovely to see you. How is little Ethan? How is DS1 taking to him?

That's a shame about the carrot cake Bean but it's all in the name of science.

How did your tea loaf come out Generic? I haven't baked for ages. I must be ill Wink

Of course I will post photos Pop, you know me Grin

Smegs lovely, how are you feeling today? id you get a chance to have a proper chat with DH about it all last night? I hope you manage to have a better chat with the nurse today.

I feel really strange brookers. I tossed and turned all night, and am still not asleep! I gave up and have moved to the sofa with tea and a puppy. I feel really stressed and I am not sure what exactly triggered it. I am also fed up with this cycle now. 2 days late and wondering when it will end. Sorry for the me me me post again, probably just over tired.

beangrower · 15/03/2012 21:53

Smegs - I'm sorry, you must feel low if the nurse said that, but do keep trying. I've read here about ladies with low AMH who have still fallen naturally. And bear in min that fertility nurses do say things like that.

Congrats Biscuits - how is it with two?!

Carrot cakes for microwaves don't work in ovens. And couldn't read neighbours writing so too much bicarb. Oh dear. Usually make quite a wicked cake.

Peckers up Brookers. As Generic says - thank crunchie it's Friday.
