Anyone hoping for a really positive feb 2006?

ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Yep, don't know if I should be glad we are finally TTC again, or annoyed knowing that it will be a while before it pays off!

I'm CD 13 i think, no bding since sat tho, gotta be careful, which is sooo unfair,

I had a bath last night and got out and wanted to go play but couldnt, DAMN!! lol

OIC! Well in that case day 12, but obviously haven't got a clue as to when I will be ovulating as only just come off the pill, so we have BDing the whole time!! LOL

I know what you mean but i'd still get a 2nd opinion, What about talking to a doc other than the one you normally see?

I dont have a normal doc which is quite upsetting but at time i'm happy for it cos if 2 people say something is fine then it must be.

Its entirely upto you obviously and I hope whatever the outcome he's ok

as long as you are ok with what they are saying natalie. i think what me and mumswish were saying was dont let them try and brush you aside or anything (as your docs oppinion seems quite lax), unfortunatly,some docs have a tendancy to brush people to one side (well IME). if your happy with what hes saying then good

I can't win with the hospital, I ring them and they say that he needs to be refered by his doctor.

I think they think it is all related to the gastroentritus (sp?) that my DS had last March, he had it quite badly and was in and out of hospital for a while, so the hospital aren't even convinced it is an allergy as such, but more to do with the gastro problems. I know it sounds silly because there is obviously something upsetting his belly, but because he is absolutely fine other than when he is actually being sick, I am not worried, I know that sounds awful but if the doctor and the hospital aren't that bothered about it, it can't be a serious thing IYSWIM?

i agree with mumswish...the advice your doc has given you doesnt really add up, get a second oppinion.

Well this doctor has a DS about the same age as our DS, who just happens to be alergic to some colourants, so the doctor is thinking that my DS is the same. I have demanded that they test his blood before now and he just says he want's us to do the food diary first.

yeh thats what I thought, if he ends up eating something he's really badly allergic to, he could be seriously ill. Ring your hospital explain what your doc has said but that you feel very wary that hes constantly ill and want a second opinion.

i thought thats what they did anyway, as soon as you were allergic to something they send you off.

What about all these people that are deathly allergic to stuff do they just write down what they eat for 6 months?

Well we have been down at the doctors nearly every time he is sick, but they just aren't interested. I think they think I am just being over protective - or making up!! I have a diary of everything he eats and the doctor said to keep it up for 6 months then he will have a look at it and then he be able to work out what it is that is making him sick. I can't see why they can't just send some bloods off and have it tested but that would probably make too much sence!

We had a really early night last night but i'm still knackered due to a** wipe downstairs!

ahhh well, i'm gonna be knackered again tomorrow cos theres loads to watch on a wednesday night (according to DP)
