ok, as the january thread reached 1800 posts exactly, well it did at last count, I think it's time we started the February thread. Now February has lots going for it, valentines, extra reasons for BD, it only has 28 days, the average length of a menstral cycle, .. so me thinks feb will be a very positive month for all of us!

Happy BD to all! (((hugs))) xxx

yep theres deff still time!!! and yes thats dps way of saying lets get at it..thats how mine said it at first too. men seem to have a problem being forward with things like this. now mine just says i want a baby. so i think thats what your dp means

Hayls · 02/02/2006 11:48

Yep, perfect timing imo. Lets see what happends can mean anything- could be 'i'm not making a momentous decision so leave it to fate so there's no wait until the perfect time is obvious'immaculate conception please'. With my dh it's the former as he finds it weird to 'try'- dd was a happy accident!

mumswish · 02/02/2006 11:46

hi Nat,

ok new questions then,

when DP says "lets just see what happens" is that an invite to trying to get PG properly?

if so, I'm on CD 13 now is there still time?

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 11:44

well if dp wants to bd (hes big enough to realise what can happen lol) and you are even more broody then i think u should throw caution to the wind but its totally up to you of corse, its a very personal thing to decide

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 11:43

Obviously Mumswish the choice is yours but if I were you, I'm not sure I would be able to stop myself BDing!!

mumswish · 02/02/2006 11:41

Sorry Hi Wuzzle, didnt notice you'd come in, and hi hayls long time no chat.

Not spoken to Dp yet, well not at length we've spoken and hes said lets just see what happens and then comes in wanting to BD and I say no cos I'm panicking about getting pg too early.

I want to move in before getting big with baby so thats why i'm saying i want this house, its me being selfish really.

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 11:39

I agree with Hayls. I can't see how it can be entrapment, I am sure he realises that if you do BD without protection then chances are at some point you will be making babies!!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 11:37

mumswish (hi btw ) no u wouldnt be being evil. i cluck like crazy, so it must be horible for you not being able to go "at it" like rabbits without worry. im sure that if you do decide to bd in hopes of concieving properly youd be ok, things would sort themselves out, and by not letting yourself, you could well be causing a lot of stress for yourself...have you spoken to dp about it???

Hayls · 02/02/2006 11:36

Mumswish, you'll be pg for 9 months- better to move early in pg than when you're huuuge or with a small baby. If dh wants to then go for it. We're moving soon too and it han't even crossed my mind to wait to ttc- I won't be lifting heavy things as I'll have dd anyway. YOu can sometimes try to plan things to much so go with the flow

mumswish · 02/02/2006 11:35

sorry girls that just reads like goobledegook. Hope you understnad what I meant

mumswish · 02/02/2006 11:32

Girls I've got a question, dont judge just want to see what you think.

After watching the extended bfing prob last night and all the kiddies, its really made me broody really

would it be a bad thing to persuade DP to BD more than we were gonna. He keeps wanting to but I keep stopping him bcos of house and no protection.

I asked mum (prob shouldnt have) whether she thought it would be silly to get pg now and she said yes because we dont know about the house, Dp says were having the house as long as he's fixed the patio doors. So basically we're having the house.

If I was to just BD with DP anyway and get PG would that be kinda like entrapment or not? Would I be evil for doing it?

Be honest

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 11:32

Have you seen the baby clothes in Marks and Spencers? Awwwwwwwwwww!!!

Hayls · 02/02/2006 11:31

Hello all, not got long but i Wanted to reassure pcm that antibiotucs are OK in pg. I had to have a couple of doss wil pg with dd, one very late on due to uti. I also had some before i knew i was pg. Mine were penicillin.
Will catch up with everybody else later as I am going mad at the moment. Life is stressful!
Hope you're all ok

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 11:29

LOL LOL!!! i love lookin through the mothercare, mamas and papas sites etc etc. im totally wrapped up in everything lol. nothing wrong with being prepared is there??

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 11:26

LOL I am so glad I am not the only one!! LOL My DH thinks I am off my rocker looking already, he should have remembered from the first time we were TTC that I get a bit ahead of myself!!

I just can't wait to buy my DS one of those 'I am the BIG brother' tee's. LOL I must admit the first time I was really excited about what buggy, or cot we were going to buy, but this time I am more excited about the cheesy things that my DS will love!!

wuzzlefraggle · 02/02/2006 11:20

NatalieJane · 02/02/2006 11:17

Yeah, he has an allergy, which I thought was playing up again, but now I am pretty certain it is a bug. He is back asleep now.
